See I was stressing that I was gonna want the DIA version because of the chrome... now I'm glad I spent cash on the TFCON version..

They all fit properly.

Mirage's hologram projector is outstanding. (It fits onto his WHEEL people! Brilliant!)

Also, Hound can in fact wield his gun. It has a handle the same shape as his existing gun.

I don't know if it is confirmed but I thought I read speculation that the City Commander re-issue would have chrome on it. If that's the case, I may cancel my pre-order and look for a decent v1.0 City Commander on the aftermarket because I can't imagine chrome looking great on the CC colour scheme. Despite the mold improvements that the re-issue will have...chrome on a red/white/blue plastic figure just seems oddly out of place. But then again, what reason is there for CC to have chrome since the only UM repaint for the Classics OP figure has no chrome? So I think my pre-order will be safe.

@ CP. Thanks for confirming my suspicions. This is indeed a good testament the craftmanship of FP. From what I hear, there were quite a number of complaints at the Gears of War version. Now time to hunt for henkei Mirage (which I stupidly passed up the opportunity to get )

So many great features...and the roller! I miss the launching, and I love the battle mode. This trailer looks great, aside from the hugeness in trailer mode. I want it, but I can't spend the money. I like my BTS trailer enough, and it fits in my limited space better. Just so many cool features on the G3... so well thought out and designed. Can't wait for Protector.

Got my G3 trailer today and I really love it! More specificly, I love that Roller!
The wife thought it looked weird with the Classics Optimus and wanted to see it with G1. Man, did it look small! So for display I'm going to have Roller with the windvane as a cannon (FRIKIN' AWESOME!) and the more boxy vaneless Prime hitched to the trailer. Still haven't striped Magnus yet to hook the CC up to the back and I have no intentions to take the film off of the stealth mirrors.
Did I mention the Roller lovefest I'm having?

The Roller component is indeed a smart looking addition. Only thing that comes close is the THS-02 version, in both functionality and features. I have a sneaking feeling FP might release version 2 and install a gray Roller.......OUCH!

I'm not a fan of gray Roller but hey I'm sure that if they do a gray version it'll also be sold separately like the upcoming CC rifle and missles. Fansproject kicks ass like that! I just wish the energon briefcase was available too!

Transformers conspiracy theorists have stated that Roller is secretly responsible for all the successes of the Autobot effort. Roller is that awesome.

I love the chrome accents on my DIA Commander. I realize it's a personal preference, but I don't think someone should NOT get it, just because of the chrome.

just got mine today. its even better than i thought. dont have a single complaint, love everything about it.

No I wasn't saying that... but I own the TFCOn version so getting the other for the crome and the different deco on the side of the altmode trailer would be the only difference, that and the energon cubes in a briefcase..

but I am glad I got the TFCON canuck sellout version..

Yeah, I definitely love my D.I.A. Powered Commander, chrome and all. I just hope that the chrome lasts as long as I own the set.

Received my G3 trailer last night. I had previously watched all the reviews and was really excited. I really like it, but there seem to be some issues with my version.

1) The foldout piece to connect City Commander trailer doesn't snap in securely underneath the trailer. The clips are too wide and only 1 grips at a time. This is in stark contrast to the video review saying his clicked in "Very securely" I thought i was doing something wrong, but mine is just much looser.

2) My repair robots movement arm is very loose. It will not stay posed in any horizontal position, and there is no way I can tweak it so that that the repair drone is horizontal. He's always drooping downward


Other than that the figure is really great. Good build quality for a 3rd party. It feels a little off what as Hasbro release would be, but then again there are multiple thin layers of plastic to cover the mirror panels so I can forgive it. Wish those two bits weren't loose, I really wanted a crisp feeling set of features.

It is AWESOME but not perfect. I remember my MP-01(1st version) came with a loose right shoulder and of course the cr@ppy materials used on the Megatron gun.

Second this.

My MP Thundercracker had horrible paint jobs. I say had because I sent both of them I received back and gave up on him.

My G3 has a few minor issues but overall, it's over-the-top cool for a third party piece.

Just watched a video review for this thing...wow. If I had a Prime and I hadn't already bought this thing, it would be on its way now. It's just friggin' awesome.

I got mine the other day and it is pure, unrefined AWESOME!!!

Now that I have Henkei Ligier, AND the G3 trailer, I'm considering collecting the other Henkei/Classics figures whose weapons were included with the G3 trailer. I'd like some input from fellow G3 owners. I like to keep toys in their original form, so I'm somewhat torn about removing the weapons from the sprue, and installing them on their respective figures, or keeping the weapons as they are.

What have you done with your weapons?

Cut those sumbitches off and hand them out. Then attach the cleared off weapon trees to the trailer. It looks pretty cool.

Seconded. Even the one's I didn't think would look good with their weapons kick ass! Nad Hound holding a silver rifle looks really... right. It had a nostalgic I couldn't place until I remembered G1 Hound had a silver rifle. Plus now that Bumblebee has his own pistol, Cliffjumper got his Cliff upgrade one back. I gave CJ the crazy smile face for the occasion!

At the moment I only have Ligier/Mirage, but I've decided to get the rest of the guys and give them their weapons. I'm getting all Henkei instead of Classics, but at the moment I'm having trouble finding Henkei Hound online. Still looking around though.

While we're on the topic of removal of items from spurs, what do you folks suggest as a good way to do so when chrome is involved? I don't have the G3 trailer yet but when I do get it, I'd like to avoid messing up the chrome on the included weapons.
