Can I get an amen!
Amen!
That looks really nice. I'd look to get a TFCon armor, but don't want to drop the bucks. I don't like DIA's chrome.
Amen too!
I have the D.I.A. set and it's great and all but I would rather have no chrome on it or the TFCon version. The chrome just sticks out like a sore thumb, ruining the cohesiveness of an an otherwise plastic design scheme. Still a cool set, though.
fenrir72 wrote:Not a double post. Concerning the chrome weapons which I did not remove from the branches. We have
1. Aw-1 (Bumble B)
2. Aw-2 (Sideswipes shoulder missile)
3. Aw-3 (Mirage's shoulder mounted missile/hologram projector(?))
4. Aw-4 (Grimlock's energon sword, curiosly, the G1 box art had his chromed while te actual toy was red)
5. Aw-5 (Hound's tracking scope (Jeep mode only)
I am not sure though if they fit properly.

fenrir72 wrote:@ CP. Thanks for confirming my suspicions. This is indeed a good testament the craftmanship of FP. From what I hear, there were quite a number of complaints at the Gears of War version. Now time to hunt for henkei Mirage (which I stupidly passed up the opportunity to get
)

Not if you have any respect for him! Poor little guy is still the bravest little Autobot there is! That'd be like having a briefcase full of money and handing it to a Cub Scout, then grabbing him by the ankles and bashing him into stuff. Just wrong!
Razorclaw0000 wrote:The best part is that G3 can tow the Commander trailer like God Bomber can tow Apex Armor. It's really beautiful...
skywarp-2 wrote:what my favorite thing about this set is also that you can place your prime toy in the plastic package with the trailer to simulate the old school G-1 Optimus Prime..it is like they took MISB collectors in consideration..
fenrir72 wrote:The Roller component is indeed a smart looking addition. Only thing that comes close is the THS-02 version, in both functionality and features. I have a sneaking feeling FP might release version 2 and install a gray Roller.......OUCH!

I love the chrome accents on my DIA Commander. I realize it's a personal preference, but I don't think someone should NOT get it, just because of the chrome.
fenrir72 wrote:It is AWESOME but not perfect. I remember my MP-01(1st version) came with a loose right shoulder and of course the cr@ppy materials used on the Megatron gun.
magnusalpha wrote:Now that I have Henkei Ligier, AND the G3 trailer, I'm considering collecting the other Henkei/Classics figures whose weapons were included with the G3 trailer. I'd like some input from fellow G3 owners. I like to keep toys in their original form, so I'm somewhat torn about removing the weapons from the sprue, and installing them on their respective figures, or keeping the weapons as they are.
What have you done with your weapons?
Counterpunch wrote:Cut those sumbitches off and hand them out. Then attach the cleared off weapon trees to the trailer. It looks pretty cool.
