Arcee, who became Blackarachnia.
That's the only female I can think of from Animated

I dont see why some people have such a hard time with the idea of Female TF's or Female robots in general.
One of the very first "Movie" robots was a female.

Yeah, I know all about Metropolis, honestly. I have a hard time with the idea because male and female are biological indicators. The robot from Metroplois may have been patterned on a woman, but it was an it, since robots are not biological and as a result can't really take biological indications. They can look male or female, they just have to immitate gender becuase they don't naturally have gender.
I only replied cause I don't realyl see how not liking Arcee/female TFs/robots is sexist somehow. My girlfriends a poopy driver. Does that make me sexist, or am I commenting on my girlfriends' fledgling skill behind the wheel of a car after two months? You want Arcee, god bless people, I honestly hope you get her, becuase we all want to see characters we enjoy. If Arcee's in the new movie great for her fans. If not, oh well. They could make an entire series following Arcee and her grand adventures for all I care.
Generally, in life, I hope people get what makes them happy. I don't like Arcee as a character, and I think that making a big deal out of female TFs is dumb, but whatever. I'm not out ot ruin anyone elses' fun on that account. I was just adding my piece.

the first robot was female... I don't give a rats ass about Metropolis. This is transformers... I just want to know how they MIGHT... be able to make the "CONCEPT" work. It's a tough one!
And thank god I'm out of college so I don't ever have to watch Metropolis for another film class again. I understand it's impact but F***!!! That **** is so boring when you've got a hangover from some party the night before and you have to watch that **** at 9:00 AM. I'll make sure to be really ... REALLY frickin high... or I'll be sure to eat a **** load of boomers first if I ever have to watch that old ass movie again.
And yes... it's Japanese Anime... make her look female... at least a little. I'm not saying she needs to have some big ol titties and a skimpy outfit... just make her face look "less" like the Metropolis chic and more female... "it's all in the eyes."

hey to each his own. i wasnt pointing directly at you when i borught up the metropolis bit i was just bringing it up for the loads of people whos problem is directed at female looking robots than it is at the character
Dagon wrote:I know, I wasn't like, taking it personally or anything. I don't want to sound all apologettic about it either, but if I came across combatative to you sto, I apologize. I was just saying that when the female TF/Arcee issue comes up it always seems that many of the responses are that some of us are sexist or something for not caring about Arcee, and I just find that ludicrous. Honestly, I knew about Metropolis, and that's a fine film. I really have no problem with Arcee, I just personally don't care for her, and really don't get why female robots are such a sticking point for some people. If that's what you like, hey, great, but don't try to make it seem like I'm sexist or stupid for not agreeing. That just frosts my ass, personally.
I hope so very much that Arcee fans get their vindication and get a G1 acurate figure, and she's in TF2, and is deified as the character they feel she is. It's not like I'm angry that people like Arcee. I just don't get the big deal honestly.
Besides, I am not fighting with no Kligon about nothing. I'm smarter than to get into a fight with a race whose tiniest child could kick my ass. Let there be peace between the Kligon Federation and Dagon.

with that said, I don't mind female transformers, as long as they arent the cliched bad ass or weakling. Just give me a well written gynoid, with good dialogue and a modicrum of development.
but I realize trying to be rational with some people doesnt work.
PS: Being an Ex-soldier I do know that females make better combat pilots than guys. But we rock in melee situations.. if we can fight at all that is. ^^
Man, you are Awesome!!! Bravo!! ^^
Anyway, the way I see it, female Transformers are just one of those things that you should just go along with.
I mean the other TF's are male... so why not female.
I love femmes anyway, no matter how much others may hate them. I may just be biased because I'm a girl, but I think all Transformers are amazing!!
