watching the movie then you see a pink motorcycle drive up with the Hologram rider and then RC transforms and there is like a three second pause and then it goes up from the toes to the head. Then some random dumb@ss in the audience stands up and Yells "How the hell do Transformers have sex?" then there would be a big upproar in the theater some people would leave except me and I wouldn't question it.
To this day I don't know they create new TFs but I definatly know it's not sex.
A robot with a repoductional organs makes me laugh just sit there and Imagine it for a second. ROBOT SEX Sparks fly literaly

If they can introduce a female robot like Arcee without her looking like the current toy, or acting like a stereotype (like in G1, clumsy and flirty, worthless in battle, and annoyingly motherly), then I'd be all for it. These films are Bay films, and we all know how well Bay does love stories.

I just want Arcee to show up and kick some butt...
But Hollywood is romance obsessed.

Lets assume the writers want to include femmes into the second movie. Now how to use them to keep the species from becoming extinct? After all, there has to be some reason for the femmes obvious existance and differences - right. And this would also attract the female audience even more. Perhaps have the few remaining femmes become the focus of the power struggle between the mechs? Could make it interesting.
But now we get into the question of reproduction. Sticky subject to be sure, but there are examples within published TF history. Why not use the budding method seen in certain TF comics? This could be accomplished by utilizing the same special effects we saw in Terminator 2 with the 'liquid metal'.
Ok, now we've got the method of 'birthing', but now we've got to explain the different sexes. Since standard 'budding' is normally asexual. But we can take a lesson from microbiology. Where bacteria link their cell membranes briefly and exchange genetic material. Then when each one subsequently divides, the daughter cells are genetically a combination of the parent cells.
But how to do this with TFs? This brings us to the concept of Sparks. Perhaps a simple USB cable plugging into a port and the glow of electricity flowing from mech to femme? It wouldn't be X-rated by any means, but would show that the mech 'gave' the femme a piece of his spark. Then when she 'buds' - the resulting protoform (again picture the female Terminator without her 'skin' covering. Looks a lot like the TF comic presentation of a protoform), has a combined spark - half her, half the mech sire.
Yes, by using TF history and a little Terminator thrown in. I think it can be done to the satisfaction of most fans. And just think about the violence of Decepticons kidnapping Autobot femmes and the resulting battles as the Autobots seek to recover them... Oh, and the hysterical humor of Ironhide trying to deal with a femme his size!

You dont remember well.
Optimus Prime did "NOT" create any female transformers in G1.
nealo wrote: so that means there is NO female transformers in the g1 universe.
By what logic do you reach that conclusion???
There were at least 8 different Female Transformers that were named in the G1 toon and about 5 more that were never named.
Here's a pic of a few of them

nealo wrote:the only other one i can think of is Wreck-Gar's wife/gf/mistress
Besides Wreck-Gars wife "Nancy" there were a few female Autobots in the G1 toon.
Theres Elita One who was once "Ariel" and is Prime girlfriend and theres Chromia, Firestar, Moonracer, Paradon-medic ,Beta and Arcee.
And if you follow the Japanese follow up G1 serries you have Minerva.
And as I said above Prime did not create any of them.

Who knows.....she could have been killed when the Decepticons over ran Cybertron, she could have been involved in an other battle.
There are many reasons for why she wasnt there.

I dont know for sure isshe was ever really named "Nacy" in the episode.
I think I read somewhere that it was from the script or something else.

Perhaps the creators got tired of the 'Smurf' comparisons? And the fact that fanfict writers have had to make most of their smut stories relating to homosexual relationships because of the lack of canon femmes to work with?
I'm not into the Animated series - any femmes there?
