They had to sacrifice a Decepticon to repair Megatron enough to revive him, they'd probably have to do the same thing to bring Jazz back. Which would go against Autobot morals, plus I don't think Jazz would be too happy knowing they had to kill someone to bring him back.

That is just the most brilliant plothole filler I've ever heard.
Bravo, Bravo indeed.

How did Demolisher make his way to Egypt from Shanghai and fix himself on the way unnoticed?
These were my main gripes with the film too. Mainly the duplicate constructicons and Demoilisher (and all of the constructicons really) all of a sudden appearing in Egypt. Really poor plot hole there.

ok so remember when the primes tell sam to merge the matrix with prime's spark? which conviniently is placed in the center of his chest which is exactly where megatron impaled him...so prime shouldnt have a spark to be merged with right?
the answer? the matrix probably gave him a new spark and when the fallen took the matrix he had a spark to live with...just maybe.

Do you want to hear more theories? because that is the question you asked. I will assume you do.
Well, in the real life explanation, the scriptwriters thought that bumblebee shouldn't have a voice in the second one because some character development may happen if his voice is restored (which it was in the first movie).
The movie continuity? He probably just really wanted to go that extra mile to let Optimus know how much Sam means to him. Kind of like what you said.

Becuase The Fallen used to be a Prime. Only one of his kind, or a direct descendant of his kind (in this case, Optimus) could defeat him.syphonn wrote:Why is it only a Prime can kill The Fallen? Heck how did she get through airport security with a highly suspicious metal container with a sentient robot in it?
She didn't take it through security. She checked it at the check-in counter.
Why doesn't Prime look like a Prime? (Like the Fallen and the rest)

Here's some questions:
-Why does it take a Matrix of Leadership to bring Prime back to life, but Megatron can just be rebuilt on the ocean floor?
-Why is Megatron such a putz? He shows up on Earth, gets frozen. Gets thawed out, killed by a fleshling. Wakes up again only to kowtow to some ancient Cybertronian. I want my villains better than this.
-During the first fight, a human died. They showed a funeral. Was he in the first movie? Was he supposed to be important?
-How is Optimus a descendant of the primes? Do they have babies?
-Was Ironhide British in the first one?
-How did the government scramble a huge attack force to come in what seemed like seconds?

Bing Bing Bing Bing Bing! Bingo! Exactly what I have suspected all along. The Cube is very bad. None of the transformers it's ever created were good natured like any Autobot. It's very helpful to Decepticons. The shards that remained can revive Decepticons or create wicked transformers of earth's machinery. However I can't believe that the rest of the cube that merged with Megatron in the first movie, is completely gone. It was so powerful. I would have thought that once Megatron was revived he would have some stronger capabilities; because of the "All Spark" within him. Through out the movie I kept wondering why Sam didn't just use his small sliver of "All Spark" to revive Optimus. But I guess the only thing that can bring back an Autobot is the Matrix. But no one ever tried so we'll never really know. But if the "All Spark" was so powerful when it came close or in contact with machines, how come Bumblebee was able to carry the cube in his hands and in his back seat in the first movie?

Thats weird. I don't recall if that happened. Maybe I missed that in the film? The cube was never absorbed when it would supply it's energy to give life to machines. Why would the shards be sucked up into Decepticons?
Did anyone else see the shard get pulled out of Sam's hand as Jetfire was revived? When Optimus was first killed, and before the military was able to collect his carcass, I would have tried to return to revive him with the shard as soon as the Decepticons left the area and the Autobots were arriving. But I guess Sam didn't think of that.

Yes! Sam was in the museum, holding the shard with tweezers. As he approached the Blackbird that would be revealed to be Jetfire, the shard shot out of his grip and went straight into the jet's underbelly, disappearing as i transformed into Jetfire.Flare wrote:Renne wrote:Flare wrote:I kept wondering why Sam didn't just use his small sliver of "All Spark" to revive Optimus.

War_On_Errorism wrote:Honestly the biggest facepalm for me, although I'm one of few from the people I'v talked with on this, is how you go from DC to an airfield in the middle of the midwest / desert.
I'm not talking about the space bridge jump to Egypt I'm talking about how sam and crew were in the Smithsonian Institute in the middle of metropolitan Washington DC, Jetfire wakes, punches through the hanger doors of the museum and the next thing you know were in an a giant airfield with mountains in the distance. Simmons himself even said they were heading to WASHINGTON, as that was the nearest seeker. That just some piss poor plot jumping.
I can dig seeing the same 2 extras walk down a set of stairs twice as sam scrabbles to pick up his papers. Multiple takes edited together will do that and the general public will not notice, But the DC to Arizona like landscape things is just poor poor poor.
The Udvar Hazy center is not in Washington DC, it's in Northern Virginia about 15-20 miles outside of DC. The building is by itself in the middle of an open space as represented in the film, except there are not rows of planes outside, it's a bare field at the moment (they plan to have multiple planes out there eventually I think and there are trees around the edge of the field) I agree that when they say Washington DC, people should assume, the city itself and they neglected to mention that the air and space museum is outside of the city (although the city does have it's own air and space museum)
I just saw the film in IMAX at the center yesterday and it's a very cool thing to see the SR-71 blackbird in person, and then an hour or so later seeing that same blackbird turn into Jetfire

Wheelie instructed Sam to use the shard on Jetfire to wake him up.
I'm under the impression that the seekers ran out of energon on Earth after the Fallen left them there, and as a result, went into Stasis Lock (sleep).
The sliver plunged itself into Jetfire's body and he woke up. So I'm thinking that the Allspark is a giant "battery" that the Prime's used to bring back the concentrated energon from the solar collectors back to Cybertron.
Megatron wasn't so much killed, as put in stasis, when Sam used the Allspark at the end of the first movie. The power overload knocked him out.
Scalpel uses the parts of the one Decepticon to rebuild Megatron's body and then uses the larger shard that Ravage and his little friend stole to "jump start" Megatron out of stasis.
This leads me to believe that if Unicron makes an appearance in Movie 3, the Allspark will be reunited into a cube form again and placed inside of the "Heart of Cybertron" while the Matrix is used in a solar collector to destroy Unicron. The explosion produces the same powers as a star detonation, thus re-powering Cybertron and making the old line, "Til all are one" come to fruition.
In a sense, it would be VERY similar to the way Titan AE ended.

What makes you think that the rest of the "All Spark/Cube" wasn't destroyed inside of Megatron's chest? And Jetfire's spark which he gave to Prime had Sam's sliver of "All Spark" in it. With that sliver now merging inside of Prime how can the cube be made whole again? If a Unicron appears in the next movie, he should have the power to re-design Megatron and extract the portions of the cube to rebuild it but would Unicron care to do that?
If the Dynasty of Primes could rebuild the Matrix of Leadership in Sam's hand from dust, then that proves that it's possible for the "All Spark" to also be reformed through a powerful transformer like Unicron. Unicron is extremely powerful and considered a Evil God/Devil as Primus is also a Good/God to Cybertron. If the All Spark is an evil source of power since it only makes bad "Transformers" and repairs Decepticons, then maybe the cube's creator is Unicron?
He might rebuild it for some wicked purpose. If it's placed back on Cybertron, the Cube will regenerate life, but it will be primarily evil. Prime said in the first movie that before the cube was lost Cybertron was consumed by death because of all the fighting. The cube is the source of the Wars. Would it really unite all transformers if it's placed back onto Cybertron? What Cybertron needs is the power of Primus to restore balance and get rid of the negative elements. Primus could restore the "Matrix of Leadership" as well. Maybe the Matrix of Leadership should be merged with the "All Spark" to make that balance between good and evil? The Matrix does seem like a key. Reminds me of the Key to Vector Sigma.

Guys, Guys, you're forgetting one thing:
Although these are great TF3 ideas, they contain too much plot and potential character development, so it's unlikely that any of those Unicron plots may happen in a Michael Bay movie.
If there was going to be a Unicron in the final movie (what am I saying, of course there will be!), He would most likely be trying to chomp on earth because He's trying to hunt down Primes or something weak like that.

ya my biggest issue was essentially devastator. He was waaaaaaaaay awesome to watch and i loved how the vehicles came together to build him. but he seemed so unnecessary to me. he sucked some stuff up. fought skids and mudflap for a bit then very poorly attempted to climb a pyramid before being killed by humans. lame ass. and at the same time he was doing all this worthless nonsense, mixmaster, rampage, and long haul where apparently cloned and fighting in the other area with everyone else? comoooooooon. at the point i saw duplicates of the constructicons, i got pissed and the rest of the movie sucked for me haha.
if devestator just wasnt in the movie doing his pointless stuff, the constructicons fighting elsewhere would have made sense.
and ya idk about scavenger / demolisher thing. seems lame. demolisher gets killed. now theres this scavenger guy that looks basically exactly like demolisher? idk. i just dont know.
ps. pleeeeeeeaaaaaaase have a sick amazing unicron in tf3!

no no. i saw that. but did they need devestator to do that? idk. the whole devestator scene seemed weird to me. thrown in at the last second or something. hence the duplicate constructicons fighting elsewhere. idk man the whole movie was just weird i guess
