Maybe it's just me, but I was rather pleased that we made people RP at least one or two canon characters first, and then only allowed one non-canon character per person at a time.

I mean, I already know a large chunk of the canon characters, so it's easy keeping track of personalities and having an idea what to expect and how my characters should and would relate to them. But fanmades are harder to keep track of and know how to interact with, especially if you have to look up profiles all the time to remember who's-who.

Plus I like the thought of encouraging people to actually use canon characters instead of always pushing them aside for lots of random OCs. There's a lot of fun canon characters out there that need love.
