Maybe in the next month or so Dec/Jan we get a teaser trailer that can provide us with some clues.

Usually I am really good at that if I had a few clues as to what is about I can decipher it and figure out what it is about.

But right now everthing is still in pre-production and I cant make heads or tells of it yet.

For people wondering about the music Steve Jablonsky is the composer of the Film while Linkin Park is sort of like is advisers of sorts.

Sense they done movies 1 & 2 it is safe to say they will be in 3 maybe a new song cause Thousands Suns will be almost a year old by then

It's not in pre-production anymore, they've shot a lot of stuff on a lot of locations. The special effects work will be next once principal photography is completed.

The first teaser will most likely be like it was with RoTF, during the Super Bowl in February. However, I can see Bay trying to rush one out to put in front of Tron Legacy.

And the TV spots won't hit until June.

Funny you mention that being I had caught the trailer for Skyline thinking it was a teaser for TF3 due to their use of the TF SFX, the "Signal" from the first film being the most prominent. In a weird twist of fate, I'm looking more towards Skyline then I am TF3....ah the fates be cruel ha ha.

The image is nice, however don't be surprised if it changes heavily. The problem with tyring to keep things from the public is that is hinders all other promotion and tie ins across the board. So the comic line might have a cover imagined for promotional sales, but Shockwave most likely will pull a Soundwave shadow cameo as seen in Reign of Starscream being till art and concepts are finalized, the writers and comic artist still need to draw and pen and color the book which takes a bit of time. The publishers, knowing a design may still not be finalized, are blotting out the character not because of cencorship, but because the art image they have is invalid.

Did anyone else notice his HUGE-ass cannon? That thing looks sweet, even in silhouette. Can't wait to see it in action. Or TF3.
