I DO love those caution signs. Seeing them makes me really want to order one of the reprolabel (or the other label maker... what's their name?) kit to add detail to G1 Metroplex. Can't decide between the two.

While some seemed like overkill, many of the labels added some nice realism and detail. I think with selective application, I might apply a kit... and display the tiny little guy along with this new one. G1 Metroplex can be.... like... the suburbs.

Yeah, definitely picking this guy up. Hasbro and Takara were admittedly pretty close on this one, but as with pretty much every other figure in the TG line that I own both versions of up to this point, I believe that once in hand, there will be details not captured by cameras so far that will show off why this version beats out the Hasbro version (though I won't be picking up the Hasbro version this time to find out, so Seibs will need to do some nice, hi-res galleries for me :P).

While caution signs can be a nice addition of detail, the G1 figure didn't have them did it? Besides, given the size of Metroplex, even relative to Cybertronians, those signs would probably be so small they'd be barely visible.

Anyway, we could always just get the Hasbro version and if one want more detailings, I can bet my heart and liver than Reprolabels will at least create and sell some sort of upgrade set.

If When reprolabels create a Generations Metroplex sticker sheet, they better give us the choice between two sets. One would be a remake of the Hasbro sheet, the other would be some additional detailings that you would use after you applied the Hasbro stickers.

It will happen. [-(

On the contrary. With how small the little Optimus is inside Metroplex's cockpit, that would indicate how tiny the average Cybertronian would be compared to Metroplex. And going by how tiny that little Optimus is, the caution signs by comparison would be the size of giant billboards. ;)

as some fellow brits have pointed out, the price difference between the Hasbro and Takara version for us make this a no brainer. Also, with the current exchange rate, the Takara Metroplex from Robotkingdom would set me back £166, wheras from kapow it is £160, and also I don't have to run the risk of paying customs charges.

I'm glad that kapow have made this easy for me. The Takara version is definately nicer, the gryt thighs look better plus the odd 'patchwork' detailing on the hips is painted black on the Takara version, thus obscuring it. Excited about getting this figure although curious as to how I will photograph the damn thing!

This year I'm getting both Takara and Hasbro Metroplex :) but now they throw a curveball to all of us with Hong Kong ACG Metroplex...... is not the same as SDCC2013 Metroplex? with a different box I would assume.

I can't remember if the Takara version comes with the two red giant guns or just one,, but Hong Kong ACG Metroplex also comes with 12 smaller figures just like the SDCC2013 version....

ACG-CON HK Metroplex is exactly the same as SDCC Metroplex. The only difference between the two is that SDCC Metroplex comes with red and purple mini-figures, while ACG-CON HK Metroplex comes with gold and silver mini-figures.

And, every release of the figure, minus the regular Hasbro retail release, comes with two red guns.
