You mean Alternator Red Alert with the Wrong Head? (and meanwhile Red's head wound up on the bod that should have been Prowl).Rodimus Prime wrote:Alternators Prowl.
Probably that combined with Jazz being bland since he was just plain white. Reprolabels' sheet for him to give him his racecar stripes was probably tied with the firebird for Tracks for their most popular offering back in the day.Rodimus Prime wrote:Ironically, I didn't care for Meister, Shocky's mold mate. Whichever. I just know I didn't even like looking at that figure.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:You mean Alternator Red Alert with the Wrong Head? (and meanwhile Red's head wound up on the bod that should have been Prowl).Rodimus Prime wrote:Alternators Prowl.
Yeah, I figured it was that reason. Tracks, however, I liked the way he was. I know he could have used the flames on the hood, and I think Corvettes are way overrated looks-wise, but that blue is my favorite color, so he got a pass.Probably that combined with Jazz being bland since he was just plain white. The Prowl mold is awesome. Appart the arm transformation who are a literal Chinese puzzle!

The Kiss Players stuff.
Like all the Binaltechs, they're still boxed. I briefly put them on shelves and decided that they're just repaints, the molds aren't exactly the greatest, they're in robot mode as opposed to alt mode like the rest, to me, they just don't fit in ... I really don't need them.

I'm thinking a convertible where the halves of the car would split down the middle to form the wings revealing the bird bits underneath. Perhaps the windshield could lay down flat and the trunk could flip over to partially cover the interior and reveal his trademark guns and rockets on the other side. The wheels could stay on the wings and sit underneath like VTOL engines. I think it'd look really neat.

I've got my Booster perched on the new MP Megs. They scale well together in both modes. Booster was more articulated than I expected and is a fun figure. I forgot I had it, as I only recently picked one up on a business trip. It's the only real gear I've kept.Gauntlet101010 wrote:I remember this guy. For a time he was perched on the original MP Megatron's hand in my display (with a little help from sticky tack).Emerje wrote:I imagine an Alternators Laserbeak would transform similar to Booster X10.

The Real Gear robots was a fun line, but there just wasn't enough in line with my interests (Classics, pretty much).

Technically the Real Gears could fit in with a Cybertron collection, since they're tail-end Cybertron toys that got held back and repackaged as movie figures (especially blatant on Longview, Zoom Out 25X, Power Up VT6, and Spy Shot 6).Black Hat wrote:Emerje wrote:I imagine an Alternators Laserbeak would transform similar to Booster X10.

Pictures don't do Alternator Ravage justice.
It's one of those toys that must be felt in order to be appreciated.
