Yeah, they showed the trailer on TV,and you know what? You watched it. If you where trying as hard as you claim to avoid the movie, you would have changed the channel. You could have changed the channel, walked out of the room, or even throw the remote into the damn TV screen, but you didn't. You're not as sick of these movies as you claim. You come here and tell us this because you feel guilty for watching the trailer. You watched it and you want to prove to yourself that you hate the movies, so you come here and hope that we eat the bullshit to cover your guilt. It's not going to work.

Too right; if he really didn't care, he wouldn't continually bemoan the films to others that don't seem to take notice of him anymore...and I say that posting this, because in a time of excitement, it's a real buzz-kill when there's negativity...And when it's from somebody who I *never* see any positive comments from...well, some people just have a reputation as standard!

MegatronWolf? We get it; you don't like the films and those are your views! The least you could do is acknowledge them (and the fact you don't like them) and move on, because the majority of us here are quite excited and crave the fine art of Trailer Discussions!

Now, back to that wonderous trailer for the umpteenth time!

Sweet.

While the more "MTV-esque" feel of the previous TF movies weren't exactly my cup of tea, the darker, grittier elements we've seen so far in the DOTM trailers are giving me really good vibes about the film.

I've always felt that the previous two movies made things far too easy for the Autobots and humans, making the Decepticons look like amateur chumps, getting pwned by a few tanks and Raptors firing high-heat sabot rounds. While Prime did kill the Fallen and defeat Megatron in DOTM, there were just too few tanks and artillery vehicles to convince me that the battle-hardened Decepticons would fall to them without inflicting casualties on the humans.

But I digress. This is about DOTM, not TFTM or ROTF.

This time around, the 'Cons are finally putting up a real fight. While smart money says the Autobots are going to come out on top no matter what, at least the fight is going to be theirs instead of the humans' and their artillery. To my mind, Transformer battles have always been about Autobots versus Decepticons, not the US military vs Decepticons guess starring the Autobots.

Really looking forward to DOTM.

this movie looks truly incredible.

this looks like the best "end of the world" type movies.

i absolutely love the decepticons coming through the space bridge and running onto the streets. i don't know why, but that scene in the trailer is really cool.

we still have yet to see sentinel, soundwave, megatron, and the wreckers in action. there was a bunch of stuff in the trailer and if those guys weren't in it, there's no way the coolest stuff has been shown already which is awesome.



oh.. and i don't know if anyone has mentioned it.. but looks like bay lied and skids and mudflap ARE in the movie.. unless the scene from the trailer is cut from the film.

A better explanation would be he has never been deleted from ILM's computers, and thus he will be re-used along with others. I think I spotted Sideways in there somewhere too.

Okay this is the first time I'VE seen him in DOTM

This totally looks amazing. My first reaction was that they're showing too much, but really they've only shown one shot of Shockwave, no Megatron, no Starscream Dying, no Senteniel Prime, etc, so I have faith this will be great!

from that one scene that's in the new trailer and the superbowl.. long haul is in it, sideways gets owned by prime, and a desert painted brawl is also in it.

That was pretty good. It did what a trailer is supposed to do. It didn't really give anything away, but it sure made the movie look damn good.

POSITIVES

It really does look like Transformers Black Hawk Down to me. Huge scale battles. Yes.

Less Military involvement. ROTF's biggest negative was over use of the military against the Decepticons which sucked.

How cool does Optimus Prime look?

No! The twins are back. I hope they are the first robots to bite the dust in the movie.

Hmmmm. How are they going to explain the giant plot hole that taking over Chicago does not equal taking over the world. Though it is refreshing to see an action movie not set in New York for a change. (love NYC and Chi town but it's true).

Again the Decepticons are all boring metallic grey. Would a bit of colour really make them less bad ass? It would sell more toys......

Can someone show me a screen cap where the twins are supposedly in the trailer? I keep looking, but I don't see them.

It is more visible if viewed in the large version in the galleries. They are hard to see because of the glare, but if you look closely you can see Mudflap's orange stripes and black paint, as well a hint of green on the roof of the car in front of him, although Skids is barely visible because of the glare.

OMIGOD OMIGOD! There's a shot of the spce shuttle Discovery apparently attached to a Cybertronian-type booster!! It's in the shot with Prime telling Sam that they might lose faith in the Autobots, etc. The booster-thing even has the NASA meatball! My shuttle geekiness and TF geekiness have joined forces!!

Very true. I just looked at the full size screen cap and yes, they do apear to have the orange and green stripes. Also, after seeing the larger screen cap it seems that the "Fire truck" looking vehicle in the back ground isn't Sentinal Prime, but an Osh Kosh Military truck.

But, even if those are the twins, there's still no garantee that they will be in the final cut. I hope for Nelson's sake that this was just an editing problem. other wise he's going to look like quite the fool.

ok first of all ive only watched it once and i creamed my jeans. secondly, that is the quickest 2:27 ive ever experienced in my life. WOWZERS!!!

Who care who isnt or is in this epic awesome trailer. Micheal Bay has officially redeemed himself. Mr. Bay is awesome he sees is mistakes then he publicly acklowdges his mistakes and fixes them as only he can.

I actually enjoyed ROTF but the film had to much cramed into one film espcially towards the ending but that wasnt Bays fault that was cause they had to rush the film cause of the writers strike.

But TF 3 easily has blown this away. It seems like everthing has hit the fan in TF 3 and it looks like all the transformers are going to be either dead mostly the Cons and then the Autobots and survivors go back to Cybertron.

I dont blame Optimus he has done all he could to win over the humans and gain thier trust but time after time the Miliitary and US Goverment has lied and kept things from them.

I liked some of the lines in this trailer like It's Over from Epps this could mean that this is the end of the movie and the Transformers have left.

Then Optimus saying That was a grave mistake I dont blame OP he has had enough and I say he is extremely pissed in this film.

Shockwave is epic I dig his gun looks like a cool gatlin gun in my Armore Core games.

That was epic awesomeness were the transformers were hidden in the moon I guess the big ship is Shockwave's command ship.

Curious as to why Megatron wasnt seen much in this trailer even more confused as why Starscream is fighting others.

In Transformers Armada Starscream done a similar move but later rejoined the Decipticons but always protected the humans mainly Alexis.

Maybe they got that from Transformers Armada.

I look forward I am seeing 2 movies on the same day X-Men 1st Class and TF 3 better save some money up.

I am now 30 years old and this marks my 25th anniversary I cant wait this was the most epic trailer I have ever seen.

Only thing that comes close is the ME 2 trailer or maybe the new upcoming new trailer for ME 3 at E3 will come close to comparing to TF 3.

Wonder if Bay hires Bioware to do these trailers they are epic like the ME trailers are.
