Does anyone actually like Rodimus Prime more than Optimus? I just wanna know if Rodimus Prime has any supprters

I like Rodimus Prime. I hate his toy because it's just a stick with arms but I like him on the Cartoon.

If we're talking about the cartoon characters, I prefer Rodimus. I can't really remember his appearance in the comics. I like his toy's alt.mode (a lot, actually) but his robot mode is a little lacking. Then again, I find the Optimus toy's detachable fists as niggling as the Rodimus toy's brick-like nature.

So, in conclusion, I'll throw a vote Rodimus' way. I do love Cullen's voice, though!

I hate Rodimus because he's a stupid concept. Who in the hell thought that a transforming winnebago was a good idea?

When I was eight years old, my uncle gave me the Ladybird novelisation of the Movie. I learned that Optimus Prime died. I cried myself to sleep that night.

A couple of weeks later, I saw the Movie, and found that Optimus Prime died because of Hot Rod. Hot Rod then became a Winnebago and a whiney emo bastard.

Hatred is too small a word for how I feel about Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime.

I like Optimus Prime better than Hot Rod and I like Hot Rod better than Rodimus Prime.

Hot Rod's "When you have to ride, ride with style" during the movie has me drooling.

I do like Hot Rod's alt mode better than Rodimus Prime's but think about it.

Optimus Prime is a truck with a Trailer.

Rodimus Prime is a truck with a trailer.

Difference?

Rodimus is a futeristic Pickup truck with flames.

Optimus is a big rig.

Rodimus' trailer is a camper.

Optimus' trailer is a big ol' box.

They're both preddy white trash.

Optimus's original form Orian Pax, he's a pick up truck too and no flames. Hot Rod, well that's self exsplanitory.

Rodimus Prime is like Orian Pax with a trailer attached and a better paint job.

For thoughs who think Hot Rod/Rodimus is the reason Optimus died think again.

Hot Rod was trying to SAVE Optimus while the rest of the Autobots were doing absolutly NOTHING! Especially Kup.

Sure he may have been partially responsible but his intentions were good and he was the only Autobot who even tried to help.

Remember Kup said to Hot Rod 'stay away lad, that's Primes' fight'. I would wager that Prime didn't want any other Autobots to interfere, he wanted Megatron all to himself.

Question is: Would Prime really have shot Megatron? or would have Megatron been able to reach his gun and shoot Prime?

I think he would have died with or without Hot Rod.

Ding ding ding! We have the correct answer. Hot Rod saw the gun Megatron was reaching for, that's when he jumped in. Kup was standing right near Hot Rod so either he saw the gun too and just didn't care or he's a blind old man.

But Prime DID need help. Megatron was reaching for a gun someone droped durring battle that's why Hot Rod ran in. If he hadn't Megatron would have killed Prime anyway.

Even Kup is partailly at falt for Optimus' death. He stood around and did nothing to help which is much worse than trying to help and failing. If anything we should all hate Kup.

No the real cause of Optimus' death is not Hot Rod or Kup, it's Megatron DUH! The other Autobots could have not been around at all and Megatron would have still killed Optimus. Megatron is the one true cause of death.

Hot Rod saw his shot and took it, I bet he even set up Magnus to be killed too. After all, Hot Rod! (and Kup and the Dinobots) seemed to turn up on the Planet of Junk pretty easily for a guy whose ship had been trashed and who'd lost all contact with his leader before the second shuttle had been blown up.
Just saying.
I liked Rodimus plenty, but probably did like Optimus more.

I appreciate that people like Hot Rod, and are trying to explain away his total incompetance at the battle of Autobot City. But watch the film. Prime has Megatron cold. You know what is actually happening? Prime is paying Megatron the respect, one warrior to another, of dying with a weapon in his hand. Then Hot Rod jumps in and cocks the whole thing up. Hot Rod was a reckless, stupid punk. That's all there is to it.

Rodimus is NOT the reason Prime died. If he did not interfere, Mega would have just lifted up his purple hun he found and blasted the sh!t out of Prime anyway. What? If Rdoimus didnt interfere, Megs would have just sat there while Prime jilled him?
