Why? That mission you posted illustrated my point perfectly. All those 1s got their rear-ends handed to them and got crap for XP. And the Cons had more high levels, so with the odds in their favor, they won.

Its just my opinion, but its the 'Cons that realizing that if they join at the top of their missions instead of the lower end they tend to win more often.

if it was possibly maybe restrict the arena to lv's 0-3 seeing as its the higher lvls were bots are at the most disadvantage currently

You do realise that if the arena is closed to force arena dwelling Autobot Commanders into missions ... that the Decepticon Commanders they fight will follow as well and the situation won't be any different?

close is such a hard term what bout limit....lik eonly 20 arena battle per day...or what if the side that is lossing/undermanned gets a +10% speed up in CR chamber..... I knwo its not a lot but it gets those bots/con back out there faster :p

As far as the Arena goes, have we considered removing all the rewards and CR charges from it competely and adding a challenge feature?

That way its still available to waste a bit of time or to give someone in particular a good kicking, especially when you can nominate the opponent to battle against. Hell, under those conditions we could even fight opponents within our own factions.
It would get the dwellers into the misisons and still have a use.

That certainly is also a factor, I will not deny it.

But I did have level 2s just about 4 months ago, and considering your above point is the philosophy I live by when putting my own bots into missions, I remember it being a little hard to find missions where my bots were at the top of the level at times, because those missions were filling up rather fast. So I think my theory still works, even factoring that in.

And BTW, I wish more Bots would realize what you've said. Missions where I find my level 3 backed up by 5 level 2 bots against 6 level 3 Cons are starting to wear on my patience.

Edit: The missions are currently: Autobots 627 - 409 Decepticons.

That right there is what sometimes makes the difference in Tournaments, and my mini-battles. Its sometimes hard for people not to want to go after the XP, but when it comes down to Tournies its about the win of the mission not the XP.

Edit: I knew that would happen at some point. :P

but at the majority of levels the bot population does outnumber the cons, so for the most part we would get a greater influx of bots than cons.
