Weapon: Double-Barreled, Armor-Piercing Particle Beam Cann...
Just got the achievement for beating the Autobot campaign on Hard mode in WFC.
Also got the 15th wave achievement in escalation. Currently at 40/50.

Just defeated my first Big Sister in Bioshock 2, and on my trek for Audio Diary's in Bioshock (one) I'm at Hephaestus now.

Reached Lvl 15 in CoD: MW2... not very far in campaign or SpecOps though.

I've now gone through the Elite Four in Pokemon Diamond...drum roll... 117 times!
And now have approx. 30 lvl 100 Pokes.

Some more wandering aimlessly, but with missile expansions for my trouble. Found the luminoth tech, but it wasn't the annihilator beam, it was the seeker missiles. Oh well.
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

With my seeker missiles, hit some areas I missed to find more missiles and a beam expansion before a Luminoth tech beacon was discovered. Followed it down under the Torvus area and reached an underwater hydro plant. At the very bottom, found the Gravity boost. And the Alpha Blogg.
Wow that guy was a pain. Spent the better part of 3 hours fighting him repeatedly before realizing his simple trick. Piss him off and he'll be vulnerable when he attacks. If you fight defensively, prepare to get fragged. :BANG_HEAD:

Dragon Age Origins [Xbox]:

I'm still on my first play-through of this game, but it's easy and enjoyable to pick up again!

Anyway, I just completed the Nature of the Beast quest and settled the dispute between Zathrian, Witherfang, and the werewolves to the best of my abilities. Zathrian died peacefully, ending the curse that he had put on the werewolves. I have to honestly say that fighting him was not easy though, as I understood his side of the dispute as well.

But the Dalish seem OK with everything, even though their leader is gone. At least Lanaya has stepped up to the plate now as their leader.

Made it to the top of the Thieves Guild and the Mages Guild. Now I'm working on the Fighters Guild, and after that, the Dark Brotherhood. Being in charge of all four guilds not only puts me in a position of incredible power, but also puts me in a position for some incredible conspiracy plotlines.

Also, 1337W422102, interesting true fact. Though they advertise that buying the GotY edition of Borderlands will get you early access to the Duke Nukem Forever demo, you can get early access with ANY Steam based copy of Borderlands.

Further interesting true fact, I've signed up and been approved for early access to DNF. Hail to the king, baby.

I have a Borderlands on Steam! How do I sign up? Please let me know, man, I've been waiting for literally more than half of my life!

Shoot, I haven't updated in a while. Here goes.

Aion [PC]:
What a gyp. They shut down Exteel and "reward" me with 30 days of THIS? I've played a lot of crappy MMOs, and all that separates this game from the numerous free ones are the graphics and the tutorial system which actually helps. Flight could be cool, but I'm not grinding my ass off to get to the point where I can learn to fly. Eff this. I'd have preferred if they rewarded us with default Guild Wars keys, or something. Sure, that game is probably more generic than Aion, but at least it wouldn't be time-limited.

Gears of War [PC]:
It really saddens me to see that Epic Megagames doesn't seem to care about their PC market when it comes to the Gears games. The first was held back by GFML BS and the second never even came out. At least I'm having fun. Cleared Act I on Hardcore. Got that Clerks achievement. Yeah, but it's the FLYING car!

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men [PC]:
This game seriously takes more crap than it deserves. There's a lot that's wrong with it, but I'm still able to see the good in it. The acting is decent (although the writing could use some work), the soundtrack is pretty good, and the story really keeps the game going, as clichéd as it might be. The characters are flawed and unlikable, but I think that works, and I've grown attached to them. The comic series is a lot of fun, too.

Currently on the second jungle mission. Crap's getting hard.

GTA IV [PC]:
No progress because I spent an afternoon reinstalling it, updating it, and trying to restore my effing saved games. I eventually managed to, which is great. I really don't want to have to start it over for like the fifth time. Got some multiplayer in with a friend. Finished that co-op level where you have to take out the bikers and head back to the 2-garage house in Jersey for the first time.

Metroid Prime:
Super Metroid is my all-time favourite video game. Needless to say, I've been waiting to play Prime for years. I finally can now, thanks to my friend the Dolphin. Got it running at a decent framerate, but the Control Stick returning to X,Y coordinate 0,0 each time you move it makes mouse aiming a pain. Put up some screenshots here. Currently heading to the hive activity [?]-location in the Talon Overworld.

Also, man, they really ought to make an HD Remix version of Super Metroid with redone music and visuals and release it as Wiiware or something.

All right, with Borderlands installed, right click on it in your game's list and click "View Game CD Key" it should be under there. Copy it to clipboard and go here and put in all the info. You'll have to make an account but that takes like two seconds. And really, we've been waiting 14 years, what's two second more?

It would be nice, actually. Maybe make it 2.5D, like New Super Mario Bros. or Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles.

Yeah, 3D environment but 2D movement, like Duke Manhattan and Street Fighter IV. Not 2.5D like Doom and Duke 3D, though. Let's not kick it TOO oldschool!

On the one hand, I was hoping it would begin with "Hello, I'm Claptrap, star of the hit Gearbox game...Duke Nukem Forever!"

On the other hand, I really like how they gave focus to other characters...and how they finally proved that yes, Ned and Zed are two different people. Though I wish they'd have the Hunters, at least Lilith and Mordecai got small cameos. (I suspect Roland and Brick were in there but I didn't see them)

Wait, Lilith and Morty had cameos? When?

When Ned and Zed are arguing with Moxxi, in the background you can see Mordecai pull out his sword and swing it around. Later, just after Claptrap and Sledge pass the 3D Testing room (With the glowing tentacles) you can briefly see Lilith in a dressing room, where she enters Phasewalk.

And there's a ton of blink-and-you-miss-it cameos. Blake from DLC4 shows up in the background briefly, Baron Flynt is sitting in the "Green Room" (PUN) TK Baha appears briefly in the same shot as Mordecai, Hank Reiss's hat and Chaz's wig appear behind him, Roland and Lilith appear on a movie poster for a movie called "Staring Contest," and Skrappy, Crazy Earl's pet Skag, appears under the table with Sledge's new costume.

EDIT: Ooh, more fun, go into "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\borderlands\PandoraMap" for a good time.

And Lilith. And perhaps the surprisingly pretty Guardian Angel.

...still waiting on that patch to increase the level cap on the main game to 69. (giggity) And I want to know if Crawmerax is getting the same level up. Because if he isn't, watch out you crustacean abomination (Crustbominacean?) because I am coming to kill you again and again and again.

The actress who plays the Angel is beautiful. Even without digital alterations. 'Nuff said. Now let's see what the link of yours is...

Beaten on legendary. God this took forever but I will never forget how much I hated life itself on that last level. combine that with some very very stupid friendly AI made for a frustrating battle. Still, worth it. I had fun. =3

Ah, update on that level cap in Borderlands. The patch will increase the level cap in the main game to 58, but if you own the Secret Armory of General Knoxx, it goes up to 69. (Giggity)

According to Gearbox, its in the final stages of QA.

Groovy. I'm waiting for the inevitable Crazy Steam Deal in which all the DLC packs will be available for a low-ass price. Maybe Christmastime, eh?

Team Fortress 2 [PC]:
Played a few rounds with a friend. Unlocked the Sandman and the GRU and two Achievements: Land Grab, and War Crime Spybunal. But the most memorable moment? This one: http://screenshot.xfire.com/s/105455638-4.jpg Oh, you crafty admin!

War for Cybertron [PC]:
Reinstalling it now to take advantage of that sweet sweet 10x XP event, assuming it's in the PC version, too.

You are a bad person for waiting. Instead of giving you presents, Santa is just going to punch you in the head and sleep with your mom.

(Interesting true fact, this is remarkably similar to an exchange I had on the Steam forums)

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion:
Closed the Oblivion Gate outside of Bruma. The bigwigs are worried there may be an even larger gate about to open up, since Bruma has a lot of VIPs. I was sent to go get help from the other major cities.

Went to Anvil. The Count was the former leader of the Thieves Guild, and I'm the one who helped him break an ancient identity-destroying curse. I also reunited him with his wife, the Countess. So I figure the two owe me a favor. Nope, gotta close the Gate outside Anvil. Did that, now I got the help.

Went to Kvatch, a town that was already curb-stomped by Oblivion. Got the help right away because, well, there's like one guy left in the whole city.

Next, I'm thinking Skingrad. I have some dirt on the Count (He's a Vampire!) so I think I could work with that. Alternatively, I'm betting there's an Oblivion Gate I'll have to close.

Obtained a new set of transit papers for Luc, then met with other resistance leaders in the south of the city, only to be ambushed. Survived and helped the leaders escape to safety. This earned me a new hide-out and the trust of a new resistance leader. As a personal favor, killed his ex-girlfriend who had sold out to the Nazis.

On the non-story side, AAAAAAGH!
Trying so hard to get what should be a simple perk. Kill 10 Nazis with RDX or dynamite in 10 seconds. Simple right? Just draw a crowd and remote-detonate. However, the Nazis keep surviving these things. Set off a chain reaction, destroying no less than 7 structures, and somehow only killed 3 nazis. On the "loose lips" mission, the Nazis were enjoying a show and simply sitting on benches unarmed. Lined up the dynamite, blew it up, and somehow only killed 7 out of a crowd of 20. :BANG_HEAD:

For $40, I can buy another game, know what I mean? Besides, I know they WILL go on sale on Steam (stuff always does!), and the main game has enough content to keep me busy for now.

War for Cybertron [PC]:
Reinstalled, removed the intro movie logo screens, got my AutoHotKey script and framerate unlocked shortcutted on the desktop. (Pretty lame that you can't change the controls in game and the FPS is locked at 30, eh?) I didn't even have to paste my saved game data, I just went to the Accounts menu and my username was already there. This is a fresh installation of the game on a fresh installation of Windows. I guess the saved game data and online account information is tied to your CD key? Maybe that's why it never asks for a password or anything.

All set for that 10X XP event.

Finally decided to beat Final Fantasy XII. It was fairly easy. Then again, I'd gone sidequest-crazy earlier (Up until Ultima, anyway). Anyway I can toss it in the "Finished story-mode" pile.

Cleared a bunch of side-missions. Mingo's late ex's locket had a picture of a high-ranking Nazi general, who I then had to assassinate. A group of resistance members had him cornered but needed me to clear the snipers protecting him. Luckily I keep a Panzershrek handy for such an occasion.
Moved on to run missions for a psychologist. A misunderstood statement early on led to a funny running gag where my character kept implying the psychologist was a crossdresser. Fun. First attempt at using a brainwashed nazi as a sleeper agent failed so I had to handle it myself. Then I ran guardian angel duty covering him with a sniper rifle. Finally, he sent me to destroy a massive cannon on the belief that the Nazi's saw it as a Freudian symbol of power. As Sean put it, "If He's right, there'll be a lot of limp bratwurst's at the beer hall tonight". :P
