Managed to clear just about every side quest. Only missing 2 assignments, a league of one emblem, and a turian emblem. Up to level 39. If there's a level cap, I'm probably just about there.
Story wise, took out a Cerberus outpost, a bunch of Geth, and tracked Purple monkeys on a green world. Decided to move on with the story and visit Feros. Helped the colonists defend from a Geth assault, then went into the tunnels to help them restore power, water, and food supply as well as taking out the Geth coordinating transmitter.

Saboteur
The friend I freed asked me to take out the traitor who pointed him out of the crowd. Neither the traitor nor his contact will see another sunset. Also ran a tutorial mission for the black market dealer. Yay! Dynamite!

Borderlands [PC]:
So I've learned that when completing a mission in which an item is given as reward, you won't get the item if your inventory is full. And the item won't spawn on the ground in front of you, either. So, I got screwed out of collecting an inventory expansion item. I'm not sure if that means I can't get the Achievement where you need 42 slots, but more importantly, I could've used those inventory slots.

In frustration, I deleted my character and now I'm starting over, but I don't mind since it's so damn fun.

Shadow, dude, I know you're probably facepalming right now at me and I can't blame you.

Before I start, I might as well explain a few things. The current Dungeon I just cleared is, by far, one of the hardest and most time consuming dungeon in the entire game. Purgatory was not remotely close to what Bereshith Road is. This dungeon is literally, and when I say this I mean it, a boss hell. Every boss you have faced comes back as recolors with New attacks and new weaknesses and GUESS WHAT, they are random encounter enemies. At least they toned it down but they are not the problem. The problem will be explained in the next bit.

The Executioner This guy is, to be perfectly honest, not too terribly hard. His attacks are not all that great and he doesn't have much for magical attacks. The only real scary attack he has is a 1 hit KO but even that is not bad due to it having a high miss rate. No, the NEXT guy will give you problems.

True Agent Before the battle, The Agent says he will hold nothing back. He speaks the truth as The Agent attack TWICE per turn His attacks are deadly annoying, sometimes hitting 1K damage per turn. So attacking as a pair may be suicide. His beam attack hits the entire party regardless if you attack as a pair or not. He also knows some nasty magic. So putting up a Mental Wall is ok for some points. With a whopping 15,000 HP, this guy can throw you for a loop if you are under leveled.

The Almighty This bitch can poison, one-shot, cast powerful magic, drains MP, and Explode your party. And guess what, SHE ATTACKS TWICE PER TURN! Worst of all, she has 20,000 HP. She rapes if you rare not careful. Enough said.

It's 50, but on your second play through, it's upped to 60.

Not facepalming, but protip: If a screw up like that occurs, before you get to a save point, Control+Alt+Delete, and end task. Borderlands saves whenever you exit the game, but not when you close it through Task Manager.

And I know you've been playing co-op. I have a level 6 Mordecai and a level 5 Brick that both need more love. HINT HINT.

I know about the saving, but I'd only realized that I hadn't received some quest reward items after I did a few more missions and therefore overwritten my saves. No matter - I'm starting over and I'll just be more careful and manage my skill points better!

I have a Lilith who I only use to play co-op with my buddy on Steam and another Lilith for singleplay. I'll make another character and get him to Level 5 so we can play together. You want me to make a Roland?

Roland is actually great on any team. One of his abilities is to heal his allies by shooting them, as well as allowing his sentry turrets to heal them, and also restore their ammo. He's the Engineer and Medic from TF2 rolled into one.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic:
Got Sunry cleared of murder charges. Yeah, she was holding his medal in her dead hand, yeah, he was witnessed fleeing the scene of the crime AFTER the shot was heard, and yeah, he was a Republic war hero who was cheating on his wife and the victim was not only a Sith but also a Dark Jedi. But I played Phoenix Wright, I've cleared people with way more evidence stacked against them than that.

Also, I found the last Star Map. Star Forge, here I--oops, crash landing.

Yeah, he's pretty rad. My buddy plays as him and the healing turret is great. I lure them into position, he sets up the gun, I phase away as the targets get gibbed and heal up behind the gun. Love that stuff.

Yeah, seriously. The Advantage is totally rad. Way better than the Quickshot and NES Max. Those blow really hard.

Borderlands [PC]:
Got my main character back up and running. Took out the dude guarding the Mine Key and found a badass Purple-rare 12-round-capacity scoped explosive shotgun. Perfect for headshots in the Hideout area.

Also, I got my Roland up to Level 6 or 7, tricked out the Sentry with the Health radius upgrade, and found a cool-looking blue-and-red colour scheme. Shadow, hit me up some time and we'll make the Badlands our bitch!

I kinda want to roll with you as my level 51 Lilith. But if you don't have the third DLC, I don't know if you can play alongside anyone who's past the level cap. however, seeing as you're on playthrough 1, I could literally kill them with harsh language. "Boo" *skag explodes*

Final Fantasy XIII:
Got Vanille's Eidolon, and the last Eidolon I ever have to get. Thank Chaos I don't have to fight any more of them, I can't stand Eidolon fights.

Getting more backstory as I press forward, including confirmation that anything that happens is either directly or indirectly Vanille's fault.

Sorry, man, I don't have the DLC. I'm waiting for Claptrap's pack to come out, as I'm assuming there's going to be some kind of deal where you get all 4 and save.

No, I guess I can't...Vanille and Fang, the best thing Square has ever done. (Mostly because it's almost constantly implied that the two are a bit more than friends, giggity)

Final Fantasy XIII:
Met with these giant statue monster things. They were totally cool, though, they helped me up this annoying tower, and lopped off the tail of this fal'Cie who had been chasing me. Unfortunately, the rest of the fal'Cie is pretty pissed and is easily not only the most powerful boss I've faced so far, it actually has twice as much health as the goddamn Emerald Weapon, and about as many attacks that tend to kill me in one hit. I think I need to grind a bit more...

I'm real tempted to buy Vanille's Play Arts figure, even though I've read about its flaws, the figure itself is expensive, and I have nothing in that scale for her to hang out with.

Sorta related, I'm buying the hell out of that Claptrap figure that NECA's making. Check it out, it's dancing, it's dancing!

Forgot where I left off. Oh well. Summary:
Went to Feros, saved colonists from a sentient plant that controls minds through spores. MOved on to Virmire where there was an Outpost controlled by our target. Infiltrated the outpost, met up with Salarian commandos, destroyed an AA gun, then made a plan of attack.
Turns out our target included a plant that was working on a cure for the Krogan Genophage. My Krogan teammate didn't take kindly to the idea of me wiping out the only possible cure for his specie's pending extinction, but I managed to talk him down.
Fought into the facility and met the Sovereign, the AI of Saren's ship and the true villain in our story. After that, just said 'screw it' and dropped a bomb into the facility which one of my guys went to arm. Meanwhile, had to go rescue another of my guys. Unfortunately, an attack back at the bomb site meant I had to choose which one to save. Since I wasn't sleeping with Ashley, decided she was worth letting go. (Yes, I'm an ass  )
Lost Ashley and the Salarians, but got more info on Saren's plans. Now with the location of the Mu relay, the target planet, and an understanding of the bad guys' plans, heading to Ilos.
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

You let Ash Williams to die? Someone's asking for a boomstick migraine.

GTA IV [PC]:
Pigeon hunt underway. 40 down, 160 left.

Borderlands [PC]:
Will have to get some more co-op in, because that way, it's more like BROderlands, am I right?

Did some questing and grinding at the Lost Mine, reaching Level 18 and fixin' up the Claptrap. When I went to get the quest reward from the Claptrap, I passed the save station first and made sure my inventory was full. When I got the reward, it STILL put the item in my inventory, which was at "16/15" capacity. Wait, what? How come I didn't get those quest reward items with my previous character?

Whatever. I'll just be careful. And the damn mouse scoll weapon switching issue is really bugging me.

GAME.OVER!
After stealing back my ship, did the final side-missions before moving on to endgame, but not before Laira visited me in my room. :x
Went to Ilos but just missed Saren. Went underground to open the door he locked, unlocked it, drove through about a mile of tunnels, met a prothean VI who explained the story, then chased after Saren into the Conduit, which turned out to link to an object I'd seen since the beginning of the game but completely ignored. Meanwhile, Sovereign locked down the council and prepared to cause an extinction event.
Fought to the Citadel council room, convinced Saren to kill himself (now THAT's how you negotiate) but Sovereign reanimated him. Boss battle ensued. Got the open the citadel and let the Alliance fleet take down Sovereign. Galaxy saved, crisis averted, humanity now gets a council seat. I am a complete paragon and have the full loyalty of my crew.

Will definitely get ME2, but not until I've finished my backlog of games.

Let's talk Barthandelus. Relatively low stagger (Around 200%, compared to the last boss who staggered at 320%) and, at first, only one, not particularly powerful attack. to compensate, he has over 3,000,000 HP.

The fight drags on, he gains the ability to use his fancy beam attack twice in a row...then four times...then either five times, or four times and a debuff. Eventually, Vanille begins having trouble healing all the damage Bart's causing, and I have to switch Sazh back to Synergist just so he can reapply my buffs. Difficult, uphill maybe, but ultimately winnable as long as I remain vigilant. And hey, I knocked him below 1million HP, I can do this...and then he casts Doom, I don't have enough time to kill him, CRAP.

EDIT since I don't want to double post this time:

Borderlands [PC]:
Numbers' Log. Day 14 on Pandora. I have thus far obtained 39 of the Achievements and for the first time managed to obtain a Steam rating of 10. Not sure how to feel about this. Took a screen capture of my Steam rating anyway, since I know it won't last and I won't get this rating again ever, most likely.

While gaming one day, I received a message from a friend reminding me that, despite her collapsing sanity, Patricia Tannis is still way smarter than I am. I agree, and find myself oddly attracted to the unstable scientist. Her voice and condescending attitude starkly contrasts her sweet appearance. I also approve of her giving her underwear to that guy. And even though they're strictly non-canon, I completely dig her piercings and her choice of knickers.

Anyway, my main character is now at Level 19 and I'm off on the "find the parts to built this crappy combat rifle" quest. I'll finish it up before heading to the mine to drop the Grimlock-esque Sledge dude and get completely owned by him several times.

Who could this dashing friend have been, giving you such information as he bound off to his next thrilling adventure?

My problem wasn't this Sledge, once you know how to handle him, he's actually one of the easier bosses. My problem was with the rest of the mines, which handed me my ass quite a few times. ('Except on playthrough 2 when I was like ten levels higher than everyone else) Also, Sledge's Shotgun = Instant Win. That thing carried me halfway through the game until I found a better shotgun.

His is a name whispered in respect among his peers, and in fear among his foes. One day, we'll explore Pandora together and make it our bitch.

I didn't know his map the first time I fought him, so I ended up getting cornered and hammered into oblivion. I'll be more careful this time. Not a big fan of his shotgun. It's powerful, sure, but you have to reload it all the effing time and it's really only useful at extremely close ranges. Plus, I already have a purple-rare shotgun that I'm loving the hell out of. That being said, I'll take your word for it.

I'm building up my Mordecai for that day. From the sound of things, I'm not that far behind you. Just a few more side quests, and all I have left is Headstone Mine.
