Motto: "A Battle without honor is no battle at all"
Weapon: Twin Sonic Cannons
Dragon Age Origins (PS3)

Completed the game on my mage though killing the last boss showed me the error of my ways in letting my companions autolevel up, took me ages :o

Restarted the game as a rogue and trying out bow specialisation. Damage output is a little low at the moment but its early days yet so chances are that will improve.

Scott Pilgrim Vs the World (PS3)

Now this is a fun game, hard as nails on single player though. I've reached the boss of level 3 but he normally slaughters me so I've started farming cash in the first level so I can unlock the store that sells extra lives amongst other things.

Mass Effect (PC)
Explored a few more worlds before finally heading to the Artemis Tau cluster. Reached a mining colony and found an Asani trapped in a force field. Turns out she was the one we were here to rescue. Used a big laser to dig behind where she was trapped and freed her. Unfortunately, our mining tool set off a dormant volcano (don't you hate it when that happens?) and we needed to run. A Krogan warrior and some Geth blocked our paths but we took him out, escaped, and reported back to the Citadel. The Asani, named Liara, is now a member of my crew.

Combat in this game is still hit or miss for me. As a sniping specialist, I either hit, or I miss.

1. It's Asari, with an R.

2. You can so have sex with Liara. She's actually most people's preferred romance option for both genders.

3. Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil:
BEATEN! Maledict, dead. Artifact, destroyed. Me, probably also dead I guess?

I intended to make a lot more posts with a lot more references to the Doom comic (There was a perfect spot for the toxic waste speech, too) and Doom: Repercussions of Evil. But I didn't get the chance. Now all I have is to sit here and wait for id to say something about Doom 4.

1. My bad.
2. She's cute, but I'm putting my effort into the mysterious little thing in the Gas Mask. Somehow, I just picture it sounding like a female Darth Vader.

A boy and his blob (wii)
Finally got back to this. Managed to clear level 2 and all of its challenge levels, taking me to the Blob's homeworld. That's 40 levels down, 40 more to go.

Tali? She's cute with her vaguely European accent, (I could seriously listen to her talk all day) but in ME1? She's not a romance option until ME2. Sorry, we all want, but we can not have. (Until ME2, anyway)

Borderlands:
Finished up a side quest for Zombie Island, wherein I have to get 435 brains for Zombie TK Baha by getting headshots on 435 zombies. This, of course, is a goddamn nightmare and I don't think I'm ever doing this horrid monotonous fetch quest ever again.

Working on Mad Moxxi's Underdome (Giggity!) Riot. Completed the first arena, Hell-burbia, now working on Angelic Ruins. Having to wade through 25 waves of enemies the same level as me, with numerous ways of depowering me...not easy. Harder than Secret Armory but without the payoff.

Aww... OKay then, the Asari chick it is.

Mass Effect
With Laira in tow, moved on to Noveria. Wasn't given a warm welcome but proved my worth by turning in a smuggling shopkeeper, stopping an unjust raid on a local corp office, and got the administrator arrested. Not bad for a day's work. Moving on to Peak 15.

Saboteur
Worked through the prologue, including a race and then an escape from a German facility. My friend didn't make it. From there, escaped back to France only to find an invasion force ahead of me. Rescued my landlord and his daughter and headed back to Paris to hide out at a strip club (why don't more stories follow this patch. )
My friend was captured by the germans and I went to rescue him before the British bombed the facility he was in. Learned about disguises and such, freed my friends, and hid in the basement while the bombing occured. My contact was injured so now I have to go get contraband for a black marketeer to trade for antibiotics.

Earth Worm Jim HD:
So this came out. It's freaking beautiful. Literally, they didn't just smooth out the graphics, they added a lot of really nice effects in. The levels are based more on the PC Special Edition, but they didn't include all of the levels from it. My main complaint is slightly unresponsive controls, and also the music quality doesn't sound quite as good as the aforementioned Special Edition. There's apparently some brand new missions involved but I haven't gotten to them yet.

Currently on Level 5. I wonder if they'll have Who Turned Out The Lights?

Beat Sakuya story on normal, completed the character roster on easy. Working on Marisa's story on normal.

Castlevania HD (360)

Completed, Soma is tanked up and now working on Johnathon. Progress with Charlotte is very slow.

Chaos Rings (IPhone, Itouch, Ipad.)

Completed up to the second Arena fight in the first story. May need to grind to get more genes.

Well, Playthrough 2 sure paid off. Everything's way harder (Sledge, one of the earliest bosses, was level 40), but the experience payoff is way better. I haven't been able to level up this fast in a while. My Lilith is currently level 48, but I'm only doing Playthrough 2 until I hit the level 61 cap, or until the Claptrap DLC comes out next month.

At peak 15, found a quarantine situation quickly failing. Apparently the scientists thought it would be a wise idea to revive a species that nearly destroyed the Citadel races. Gee, how could this possibly go wrong? :-$
Anyway, tracked down Laira's mother, who fought us, then helped us, then fought us as she fought the control of our primary target. After that was done, we found a queen bug of the revived species. Preferring mercy to genocide, I freed the queen in the hopes that the act of forgiveness makes her children more accomodating than her ancestors. also set of a neutron pulse to fry the remaining bugs. All in a day's work

I just started playing yesterday and at first it was awesome, but Im on Peak 15 and this shyte is fustrating as hell! I spend 15 minutes losing and starting over trying to figure out how to drive there, get out and figure out my way around the place. Use the internet to figure out how to put some random puzzle together. Spend 30 more minutes trying to figure out where to go next, get there fight swarms of enemies accomplish mission, then another 6 minutes trying to find out where to go again. Get to a train station, acidentally go back and forth, find where Im suposed to go. When I find the person I'm supposed to find she kills me in litterally 2 seconds flat, she sends out these people that knock me to the floor and before I have a chance to get up they barrage me with more attacks (I swear to crap I didnt get up after one hit) then I lose, and figure out I have to start all f*king over from finding Peak 15!!!

I cant take it anymore. But I want the second one so damn bad! :BANG_HEAD:

Still doing random missions and exploring. Got all star clusters except for one unassigned one and 2 mission-specific ones. Managed to finish Garrus's personal mission along with clearing an entire star cluster of Geth and finding info Tali's people could find useful.

Borderlands [PC]:
Thank you, Steam. Best $10 I've spent in a long time. Well, at least the best $10 that didn't end with the transmission of a disease or two. I had to do a bunch of .ini tweaking to get the game to run the way I wanted it to (toggle aim/scope instead of hold, FOV adjusting, etc.) but it was worth it. I love the hell out of this game.

Playing as Lilith, because delicious Lilith. (Seriously, where's all the Moxxi/Lilith Rule 34??) I can't blame Scooter for being mad about everyone messing up his mom's lady parts, but dude, if she wasn't his mom, I'd sure he'd have tried hitting it, too.

Reached Level 21, I think. Finished all the quests in the Arid Badlands. Got 24 of the Achievements so far. Can't wait for the Claptrap figure, and I hope they make more characters. Like Moxxi. I'd have my Joes lining up around the shelf.

GTA IV [PC]:
Did "The Snow Storm" so that Karen won't bother me as I'm busy hunting pigeons throughout every island but Jersey. I've completed all the pre-Jersey jumps and races, and finishing up the Most Wanteds. Then, I'll waste all the pigeons that I can before getting some more story done. Going to try for the 100%.

Let's talk a bit about Crawmerax the Invincible. Crawmerax is the closest Borderlands has to a superboss, but it doesn't fight you so much as it gives you a demonstration as to how wide the human anus can stretch. It is level 64, meaning that unless you hack the game, it will always be higher level than you. It also comes with an entourage of level 61 buddies.

Needless to say, I learned not to fight it at level 51. At least I was able to get a bunch of ammo SDUs. (Probably the last ones, unless they sell more with the new DLC) I think all that's left in Playthrough 1 is my third and final crack at the Secret Armory, and, of course, Crawmerax.

I don't know if you've run into Crabworms yet, (Not a particularly difficult species to handle) but Crawmerax is a giant, mutated, superpowered Crabworm.

EDIT: Here's a picture. A face only a mother could love, if the mother hadn't been brutally killed and devoured.

The purple crab guys from the spark crystal mines? Yeah, getting crits on them was tricky with the gear I was using. I'm really not looking forward to having to face the Invincible guy. I take it they intend for you do to that with 3 other players, right?

Crawmerax CAN be done solo, you need to be level 61, (Even if you AREN'T soloing it) and have high-end weapons and gear. There are vending machines next to the elevator you take to the fight, that sell very expensive, high-end stuff, and the ammo vendor will sell all ammo at two-for one. (Like playthrough 2) That said, yeah, a full team is preferable.

The upside is that he'll drop Pearlescent weapons, the best equipment you ever did see. If you find a gun nicer than one of those, you modded the game.

Sweet Raptor Jesus, that loot is epic.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic:
Cleared the Leviathan and OH CRAP I'm Revan. It'd be more surprising if this were my first playthrough.

Finding this out unlocked the last of HK-47's memories, revealing I'm the one who built him. (That's almost as crazy as Darth Vader building C-3P0...almost...) An even funnier story; HK-47 explains that he calls everyone meatbag, because when talking with Malak, HK-47 "notified him of his meatbag status." Revan found this funny, and reprogrammed HK-47 to call everyone meatbag, just to piss of Malak.

Revan is the best Sith ever.

Just beat it litterally a few seconds ago. I dont give a crap about side missions, so as far as I'm concerned, I beat it! I finally get to play ME 2 now!

Two things I should point out to you:

1. You get some amazing bonuses for loading a maxed out character into ME2. (Which is impossible without beating all the sidequests)

2. General consensus (I haven't played it but it's what I've heard) is that ME2's gameplay isn't as good as ME1.
