Only, I can't download it because the Steam servers are overloaded with guys like me trying to get it. I should have figured.

Funny story, I finished downloading the game just a few minutes before I saw this post.

Alien Swarm:
You bet your ass it is.

It's free, it's fun, it's easy to join a game (Uses L4D's multiplayer style I guess), and at least one achievement gives you a free hat for TF2.

Goddamn it's good.

it uses an EXp system not unlike War for Cybertron. I got to level 5 and unlocked the Tesla Cannon. I haven't used it, but it's a safe bet that it shoots lightning.

Seeing as how my computer with video work all day, I decided to kick it oldschool and fire up the NES and SNES.

Bad Dudes [NES]:
Apparently, I'm not a bad enough dude to rescue Ronnie because they removed the damn 2-player simultaneous mode and the game is too damn hard to play alone.

Cleared the first stage and got the coveted "I'M BAD" ending and reached the second stage's boss but couldn't beat him.

Super Mario RPG [SNES]:
Much to my surprise, the cart HADN'T lost my saved games like it did last year. I had 6 of the 7 Stars, but somehow the cartridge had reverted to its saved state from a year ago, even restoring content I'd written over. I was FURIOUS since I'd lost half of my progress, but at least I didn't have to start over, right?

Anyway, today I reached the cloud city, did the whole "jumping statue" bit, and Mario reached 9999 experience, Level 30. The others will follow shortly.

ASSASSINS CREED 2
GAME.OVER!
Completed bonfire of the vanities, retrieving the apple and saving the villain from burning at the stake. Returned to the main game where my mission is to assassinate the Pope. Can you say 'ambitious'?
Anyway, worked my way into the Vatican where the pope (the villain I've been fighting after his promotion) is giving a sermon. Try to kill him but he uses another piece of Eden to defend himself and the battle is on. It's one of him vs four of me. (wait, that didn't sound right...)
He gets me with a sucker punch and takes my piece of Eden. He hopes to open a vault where a great secret is held. He can't open it so I deck him and open it myself, thus learning the great secret of the assassin's creed game.

I'm basically all over the place right now with video games. The game I'll play tomorrow or the next day will depend upon which way the wind is blowing.

Bionic Commando: Rearmed XBOX 360
I love this game. I was never a huge fan of the original NES Bionic Commando, mostly because you can't jump; but if you think of it as more of a puzzle/action game, it's great! I beat the game a couple of weeks ago, now I'm just working on achievements. Capcom and Konami need to do more of these.

Shadow Complex XBOX 360
Great game! Just exploring and playing for achievements right now.

Mega Man 9 XBOX 360
Couldn't get through Dr. Wily's stage last time I played this, so I gave up. I've returned to finish the job.

Forza 3 XBOX 360
I've really gotten the hang of the vinyl group creator; so I'm working on a lot of different projects.

Devil May Cry:
The original...maybe not the best (DMC3 has that title) but still not the worst. (DMC2 you know what you did)

Been slacking, but I just got to mission 4. I found out that the better I get at DMC3 (And I can handle DMC3 pretty easily at this point) the harder DMC1 will kick my ass. Don't get me wrong, the first time I played DMC1, I did okay. Never beat it, but I could handle it. Then I played DMC3, got good at that, and now it takes me way longer than normal to get familiar with the controls in DMC1. The less fluid combat sure doesn't help.

I've been through at least 4 playthroughs of War for Cybertron now. (360)
Accuired all Icons and completed all side missions.

I only have the online achievements left to get... dammit I hate not having internet at home.

I got Assasin's Creed about 2 weeks ago and beat it in a few days. Got Assasin's Creed 2 a week later and beat that in a few days (though my cousin was over and played maybe most of it. Second best game EVAR!) and I got Resistance 2 yesterday and Im on the Iceland level...the second iceland level. On the part where you're in a dark control room and all the Grims run up to you.I paused it when I got to that part. Its night time and I'm scared.

Me and my cousin played the F.E.A.R demo at night in the dark, and it scared the crap out of me. But seriously, those Grims and Chameliens scare the shizzballs out of me in Resistance, even when I knew they where coming.

I played it, and it's expansions, and it's sequel and the expansion to that, in broad daylight, and it scared the crap outta me.

Final Fantasy IX:
Got to Memoria. Killed Maralis and Tiamat, but Kraken is kicking my ass. I killed Lich earlier, though. FF9 sure does love it's callbacks to previous games.

Yeah, I stopped playing it at night. I was pretty paranoid/on edge for the week it took me to beat the first one. As for the sequel, THAT DAMN SCHOOL. The hospital in Extraction Point wasn't too happy either. The kids' drawings didn't help.

Yeah, the demo for the second one, when you're in the school. The worst part is that one area where you're attacked by ghosts in what looks like a cafeteria. BUT

Assasin's Creed 2:

Im trying to find all the glyphs to subject 16's vid. I've seen it already and know what the binary numbers at the end mean, I even know that the number of zeros count to 20 and the ones count to 12 (2012), signifying the end of the world, but Im doing it just so I can get that trophy!

Trophy? What trophy? I didn't see a trophy.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
From the high school, reached the gym and met Michelle, a girl who didn't get the cancellation notice apparently and is the only one at a school reunion. She said she knew a girl with the same name as my daughter but couldn't be the right age. With nothing better to do, we broke into the principals office, hacked his computer, and looked up the girl's history. Before I could figure anything out, the nightmare world encroached and I had to escape. Once out, met up with Michelle who offered to give me a ride home in her boss's care. Escorted her to the club she worked at and went to get her keys. When I came back, she was gone, replaced by a girl named Dahlia who I'm apparently dating (go Harry!). She drove us off but the nightmare realm happened again and the vehicle went into the river.
Found myself washed up on the side of the river where the local officer I met earlier took me to a hospital. A later text mentioned Dahlia escaped and is okay, if dazed. The nightmare encroached yet again and I fled, leaving the cop. In the hospital, found an injured nurse and escorted her home before leaving to explore the local mall. She called for help and I ran just in time to see her die from her earlier injuries. To make matters worse, the cop thinks I killed her. The nightmare saved me from a bullet would and I escaped back to the mall.

Are you referring to an achievement? If that's the case, meh. ;)

My PC was getting cold with nothing to play since beating Assassin's creed 2 so I re-installed an old favorite.

Tron 2.0
Started the game, got sucked into the digital realm where I met Byte. He (it?) walked me through the tutorial until a viral corruption reached the area. Took a data stream out of the area only to be attacked by the system defenses which thought I was the source of the virus. Desperate to escape, entered a sub-net, fought off the defenses, brought down a viral quarantine and hot-footed it out through another data stream... only to find I took the direct route to the Defense HQ. Whoops...
Got captured and sent to an arena. It's light-cycle time.

Love Tron 2.0 but won't play it much. Just ordered Mass Effect 2 and Saboteur so those will be my new primaries once they arrive.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--
I'm raging SO hard right now. I've played that game for years, ever since the first closed beta. My buddy and I would play for hours. I'm really upset to see it go. What other free 3rd-person mech action game are we supposed to play now? Even War for Cybertron doesn't have the action and fun of Exteel. I stockpiled credits from that last 3x Credits Bonus event, so I guess I'd better spend 'em.

Well, my day is ruined. Shadowdude, keep me posted, eh? Let me know when that sale event starts so I can blow the rest of my coins.

The trophy you get from solving all the puzzles.

Are you referring to an achievement? If that's the case, meh. ;)

My PC was getting cold with nothing to play since beating Assassin's creed 2 so I re-installed an old favorite.

On the PS3, its a trophy. AND I finnished it today!

Lets see

Transformers WFC (PS3)

Got my Soldier to 25, just leaves the Leader and Scout to do, but between me not liking either class much and having connection issues galore (which I'm thinking may be due to a faulty wireless network adapter rather than the actual game) I probably won't be getting to Prime mode any time soon.

Dragon Age Origins (PS3)

Playing an Elven mage on my first playthrough, so far I've cleared Denerim and Lothering, found the Urn of Sacred Ashes, saved Arl Eamon and his family, killed the demons in the Mages tower and saved the werewolves, guessing it probably won't be long till I'm in endgame.

Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 2 (PC)

Restarted the campaign, the Tyranids have started popping up but I'm busy killing Eldar for Imperial Magistrates ("RAWR WE R TEH SUPAH HUMENZ N WE WILL KILZ TEH XENOS" and all that).

Fallout: A Post-Nuclear Role-Playing Game [PC]:
War. War never changes. And neither does my taste in fine entertainment software.
I really liked Fallout when I played it when it came out. I probably shouldn't have, though, as that intro movie scared the crap out of me as a kid. And still does.

Modified Natalia, naming her Nastacha, and met up with the Ghouls at the Necropolis. I'll probably just 'jack their water chip.
