Not sure if anyone cares, but here's a thread I made about how to get your very own C&C4 or Medal of Honor beta key: get-yer-c-c4-medal-of-honor-beta-codes-t66593.php
I'm not particularly looking forward to either, but I got and installed the MoH beta. Can't play it until the 21st since I don't have a Bad Company 2 VIP code, but hey.

It's been an eventful weekend. A lot of **** was bought, and I don't know if I should have bought half of it. BUT I DID!
Final Fantasy IX:
Passed through the Black Mae village. Suggested Vivi get married to Quina in a Dwarf ceremony that Zidane and Garnet went though. (And that only Zidane is trying to take seriously, for obvious reasons) It was a hilarious scene, I wish I could see it a million times.
However, Quina ran off, trying to eat a Moogle. S/he was replaced by Eiko.
Final Fantasy III:
Bashed through a rock wall using a Mythril-reinforced Airship. We are now out one airship, but that wall is gone. Now looking for a woman's boyfriend for some reason. My current team is Warrior/Black Mage/White Mage/Red Mage.
Dead Space:
I'm not certain what I'm doing anymore. I'm kind of just following the line and hitting the buttons it points at. And also going "AW SWEET" because this is a game about dismembering monsters with laser beams. RE derivative? Sure, no one denies that. Spectacular atmosphere? OH YES.
Spore:
My race of psychotic lizardman has progressed to the galactic stage. We hold a strict policy of "Be our friend if you like, but if you make one demand of us, or look at us wrong, or have an annoying voice, so help me we will burn your species from the Galaxy to the point where no one will even be able to remember you were there five minutes ago."

Spore:
Created a second species, the HATE APE. I specifically designed him with an exaggerated monkey butt, which, since it was 4AM, we all spent ten minutes giggling at.
"Spore: The most fun you will ever have designing a monkey's butt"
Final Fantasy III:
Stopped the Nepto Dragon's rampage.
Elder Scroll's IV: Oblivion:
Tweezy lent me this. Spent a good long time designing my character, getting out of the sewers, and getting to a town....and the game crashed and I didn't think to save. "Nah, I'm fine" I said, "Nearly full health, I'm sure there won't be anything too dangerous." I sure hope there's auto-save...

GTA IV [PC]:
Reached the sweet spot, story-wise, where Roman's recovering and doesn't call you, Jakob's not a friend just yet, and you haven't met Brucie. Basically, no one calls to bother you except for the fed. Meaning, I'm free to explore and do side stuff. Only I already got the Pigeons (need a chopper for more), and the police roadblocks are preventing me from getting some Jumps. And I can't do races since I haven't met Brucie. BUT, the police cars can reach their server now, so I'm working on Vigilante missions and Most Wanted hunts.

Having reached my final stop on the train, found myself at the mercy of a deranged controller calling himself Alex the Great. Managed to disable his control of security and reach him but he's holed up in a gene tank. Need to go collect ADAM infused plants to lure him out.
Assassins'creed 2
Spending way too much time screwing around and not accomplishing much, but enjoying the ride.
Story-wise, managed to assassinate the punk who was causing me trouble, get lessons on hidden areas from a master thief, eavesdrop on a Templar meeting, and find 2 of the 6 seals that unlock Altair's armor. Also began upgrading the villa to make some extra dough.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion:
Good news, it autosaves.
Did some stuff, got the emperor's possibly illegitimate son to safety, (In a rare twist, it wasn't me. Go figure) and got accepted into The Blades, the Emperor's Bodyguards.
Went back to the Imperial City and won the Arena. Using my fight money (No, I didn't buy two of every animal, heard them onto a boat, and beat the crap out of every single one) I bought a house in the nice port town of Anvil except OH NO THE HOUSE IS HAUNTED! I got the asshat who sold it to me to help fix this, which involved him opening a hidden door, then getting the hell out of there. I had to kill his psychotic Lich Grandfather, though, the house repaired itself instantly. (Houses do that after exorcism, I noticed) So, nice pre-furnished house for the low low price of 5000 gold? Nice!

Collected the ADAM plants and managed to get Alexander out of hiding. Took a gene sample to make a key and then performed a mercy killing by zapping him. WHEE!
Used the key to reach Lamb's hidden area, which can't be too hidden because the splicers beat me there. Oh well. Reached Eleanor after fighting 2 Big Sisters but Lamb pulled a trump card, stopped Eleanor's heart just long enough for my Big Daddy bond to cause me to collapse. With the bond severed, Delta was going to either die or go permanently comatose. Luckily, a still-alive Eleanor gave me the ability to control the little sister and see through their eyes. Creepy and charming at the same time. What those kids see is just freaky.
At Eleanor's request, turned her into a big sister, and she then freed me. Time to go get Sinclair and run.

Medal of Honor Multiplayer Beta [PC]:
Goddamn, that was awful. In a word: generic as hell. Yup, it takes 3 words to describe just how bad it is. And the writing was terrible. They must REALLY be aiming for the 12-year-old crowd, as every other word started with "F." The singleplayer better be good to make up for how atrocious the multiplayer is. To make matters worse, it wouldn't even uninstall properly! Come on, EA.

Transformers: War for Cybertron:
Yeah, this game.
Completed the Decepticon campaign. Despite what I thought would happen, you don't just select Autobot or Decepticon and go from there. There's 10 chapters, 1-5 are the Decepticon half and 6-10 are the Autobot half.
Beat the Decepticon half, about half-way through the Autobot half. It's not that the game is short (Each chapter is VERY long) it's that between 2 PM and 11 PM, I have done little else besides play this.

GAME.OVER!
Short summary, sinclair didn't make it and Lamb blew a lot of stuff up trying to keep us from escaping. We managed to free the remaining little sisters, use them to boil off the water weighing down our escape pod (just go with it) and make it to the surface.
I got the best ending, so Lamb survived and was forgiven, Eleanor is free and merciful, the Little sister's are safe, and delta... well, he'll be remembered.
This game was actually pretty good. It brought nothing to the series, didn't need to be made, and the logical story problems are still driving me nuts, but as far as gameplay went it was fun.

I finished the Decepticon campaign and then started playing multiplayer. After a couple of hours of that decided to try co-op but the parties I got in just kept dying over and over so I didn't progress at ALL. tried to do the Autobot campaign but got distracted by the allure of Team Deathmatch and have yet to get back to the campaign. I'm also in the middle of moving so it is doubtful I'll finish the Autobot campaign until i get down to Florida.

Does being an aircraft mechanic make me better at Transforming these things? Sadly, no.

Got through the first 2 chapters of the Decepticon campaign. Team Deathmatch has such a strong pull, I do little else. Thinking tonight I might try escalation mode, but I wont hold myself to it.

Final Fantasy 4: The after years
After grinding myself crazy, found out that I could just walk past Ultima weapon and move on to the next area.
That was a waste of 4 hours grinding. Death Gaze attacked a few times but decided to just let him live and move on.
In the next area, found myself going through 3 floors without enemies or music. Creepy. At the bottom, was attacked by a Deathmask with a body that I hope was a boss (if that was a random enemy I'm totally f'ed). Ran into the Maenad and Bahamut, who then wiped me off the map. Can't defend against Bahamut's megaflare yet so I'm back to grinding.

In during War for Cybertron flood!
Transformers: War For Cybertron [PC]:
Had a hell of a time getting the game. It came out yesterday, and to get it I had to take a bike, jog, bus, and subway to visit 5 stores. I didn't see any copies for console; all were sold out. Only saw one copy for PC - the one I bought! The dude at Future Shop told me there were 3 left, and he had to go in the back to find them. Made my day.
Configured a nice AutoHotkey script since you CAN'T REDEFINE YOUR CONTROLS. So I had to manually tweak a script in order to change my controls. Despicable. Might I add the default controls aren't so great.
Progress-wise, made it to Soundwave. Rode the elevator up to him. Will go off and do what he wants later.
Tried some multiplayer. No dedicated servers (obviously, it's ActiVision). Not sure if there's a server browser as I only tried the Escalation mode. Sure hope there's a decent way to play with friends online rather than matchmake and HOPE you ended up in the same room. Will try later. Lived to Wave 8 as Thundercracker. Is ol' Ian James in the game? The "weapons overheating! Weapons temp normal!" guy sounds like him.

I don't think so. I checked IMDB, but his name didn't come up. I thought it was Kirby Morrow for a while, but he's not on the cast list either.
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion:
Decided to start the game over and play as a sexy red-headed thief. All right, so "sexy" in a Bethesda game is difficult to achieve, if not outright impossible, but damn it I came close. Working on stealing everything of value in the Imperial City.

Damn. That Weapons Temp guy seriously sounds like Beasties Season 1 Cheetor. Maybe on purpose!

Sexy redhead, eh? I like your style, my man. In just about every game where I can set up my character, I tend to make her/play as the kinky redhead. Hell, even in Lego Universe. Granted, the colour scheme of my character looked pretty cool and her Medieval costume was badass, but you know what I mean.

Transformers: War for Cybertron:
BEATEN! I guess despite the rest of the site being so spoilerriffic I should do my fellow TF fans a favor with the spoiler tags:
Prime and his gang cleared the Dark Energon Corruption from Cybertron's core, but the damage was already done. Cybertron (Apparently a sentient being, which surprised none of the Autobots) told Prime to evacuate, and gave him a shard of Cybertron's Core, the Matrix of Leadership. After taking down Trypticon, who was shooting down escape vessels, Prime decides that a portion of his forces will stay behind, and commissions the Ark for their eventual escape.
Unlocked Arcee and Slipstream for my troubles.
I've spent the day playing Multiplayer. My Scout is level 7, Scientist is level 8, Leader is level 5 and Soldier is only level 1.

BioShock 2:
I didn't kill Grace Holloway, and I feel pretty good about that. Got her key, though.
I don't know about that, but when you first get control of him, right behind you is a Vita-Chamber.
Borderlands:
Playing as Lilith. (Because, as previously explained, hot red-heads are hot) I took out Nine Toes, only because I managed to level up by killing one of his pet Skags during the fight, which fully healed me and allowed me to kill him. Currently level 13 and doing some side-quests.

Would you kindly roll with it? Don't worry, it gets explained.

Maybe so, but games are more mysterious when you ignore the obvious.

Super Mario Galaxy 2
Running through the green star hunt. Got everything in world 1 except for the boss level, bringing me up to 136 stars.

Completed Single player on normal, may go back and do it on hard later for the extra trophies, I was going to attempt to get some levels on scientist in MP, but at the mo I'm having some serious issues with bad hosts.

You and me both. Just keep trying and eventually you'll end up with a good host. Now, finding a match where you don't die every ten seconds because of hideously overpowered weapons? That's a challenge.
BioShock 2:
Had my fourth date with a Big Sister. (Nothing happened, she's a classy lady) Made it to Dionysus Park and oh crap Houdini Splicers. What really freaked me out was that I first noticed his teleportation burst near a sign reading Cohen's Fine Arts Collection, seeing as Sander Cohen was also a Houdini Splicer and you don't actually HAVE to kill him. Fortunately, he's six feet under...well, okay, it's Rapture so he's technically several miles under, but you get the idea.

Told you guys you'd get yer explanations! Also, there's something in the sea.
Shadowman, once again, highfive for your appreciation of fair redheaded maidens. As I'm sure you can tell by some of my Xfire videos and screenshots, I'm rather fond of them, myself. (Links more or less worksafe.)

Borderlands:
Killed Sledge, got to level 19. I stole Sledge's fancy alien artifact, but the Atlas Corporation has decided it's their property. I say, finder's keepers, loser's get a shotgun blast to the face if they think otherwise.
Running a few more side missions before the Leaving Fyre Stone mission.
