Mmm, Sheva. Damn shame she doesn't have any fights with Jill or Excella that take place in a vat of jell-o.

Aliens vs. Predator:
Finished the Alien campaign as Specimen Six. Fought off a handful of Predators. (People complained that two predators died in quick succession in the movie, despite the fact that Xenomorphs are probably the only things that are deadlier; they have acid for blood and pretty much their entire body is a weapon; they can't even be born without killing someone!) And then I helped a Facehugger hug the face of a Predator Elite. Which is great because it means I have to fight that thing in the Predator campaign.

But then--oh no--our fat Queen got torched by the humans! (Which is oddly enough the endgame of the Marine campaign) Oh well, it turns out Specimen Six is going to grow up and become Queen.

...Does that make her a princess?

Dead Rising 2
Hard to monitor progress considering I keep restarting the story mode. On the current run, up to day 2 and just got word of people at the maintenance docks. But first, decided to maximize my escort time by handling multiple cases at once. Picked up the father-in-law and son at the knife shop and had them escort me on my way to meet the reporter. Then picked up the cowboy and his wife outside the arena, had them follow me to the arena backstage to rescue two others, and took the entire crew to the save house. Level 20 now.

Good thing Sheva's only "black" by Japanese standards.

Resident Evil 5 [PC]:
Cleared the fishing village area, got OM NOM'd by a 'gator a few times, passed the boat area, watched the Tricell refinery go up in smoke.

Back to the Future: Episode 1:
Went back in time after finding a newspaper that Doc is done in by mob justice on the courthouse steps in the '30s for (apparently) arson, burning down a speakeasy.

Wild Guess: I'm going to screw up everything, alter the timeline, then have to fix that altering time even further.

Unfortunately no. PC users don't get the DLC. Which sucks because one of the DLC missions is a throwback to the original game, including closeups of doors opening and Jill being trapped in a room with a descending ceiling. Also, Chris complains about Spencer's obsession with cranks.

It was the mission where Wesker kills Specer and Jill and Wesker fall off a cliff.

Incidentally, there's a report there listing the status of the Wesker Children. They're all listed as dead...except one, Alex Wesker. Yeah, Albert is listed as dead but Alex, who is supposed to be the Wesker that all the others were based on, is still alive. Supposedly, he was working on some kind of immortality project for Spencer. And he succeeded, then disappeared with his work.

RE6: Now we have to deal with Albert Wesker's even-more-badass big brother.

Pokemon Platinum:
Okay, it's been a few years since I played Diamond but this **** is crazy different. For starters all environments are 3D. (Like, typical game 3D, not like "I'm going to go see Tron in 3D") And I'm fairly certain the fist couple towns have been entirely overhauled. I don't remember having to do a quiz show with clowns for a Poketch.

(I saw Tron yesterday, but it was in 2D)

Made it to Jubilife City. Nothing else of note. Digging this Looker guy, can't wait to see what kind of shenanigans he'll get in in Black and White.

(Tron was pretty cool; story was only okay but the visuals are freaking awesome. Olivia Wilde is hot)

Weapon: Black Magic
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Landed at NOrion, got the grapple lasso, and met with the other hunters. We need to power on the defense system. Samus did most of the work with gandrayda, Ghor, and Rhundas providing support but Rundas was nice enough to power on one of the 3 power generators for me. On the way, had an epic freefall battle with Ridley. When we reached the controls, DArk Samus decided to show up and knock us all out with a Phazon blast. Samus stayed conscious and activated the defense system, saving the planet before passing out.
A month later, she wakes up to find her suit altered and enhanced with self-generating phazon weaponry. Neat.

Fallout: New Vegas
After crossing an entire mountain range on both sides and discovering areas I didn't have time to really check out, finally reached the damn 5th ranger base. REturned to the main base where the comm officer sent me back out to verify some strange reports. :BANG_HEAD:
Turns out someone's tweaking the broadcast info. Went to Ranger HQ and discussed with the Head Communications officer there, who admitted to delivering misinformation to throw off the Legion (but forgetting to tell the NCR in the process). Now I need to decide to turn him in or leave him be.

Could never figure out where "more of the same" ended up being a bad thing for sequels. Especially if the precedent was fun.

Fallout New Vegas
Turned in the comm officer, he then killed himself but I stole his gun before anyone saw. After that, took a stroll to Camp McNarran to get some reinforcements for Bitter springs. While there, managed to peacefully coerce information from a captive Legionite and track down a spy who was giving away intel. Turns out he set a bomb. I know where the bomb is but a glitch in the game is preventing me from reaching it. Not good.

Call of Duty: Black ops
Started the game. Ran through an assassination mission but killed the wrong guy apparently. Was shipped to a Russian detention camp but managed to escape. In America, met with the president and was then sent on another mission.

Because I had to do other stuff today and the saving system in RE5 is bullcrap, I've had the game paused and Alt-Tabbed out of it for a few hours because I don't want to have to restart the chapter.

Also, since you can't quit from the loadout menu for some reason, I Alt-F4'd and that apparently buttmessed my saved game file, requiring me to start over again. FFFFUUU

Change bad! Change make Shadowman scared!

StarCraft II:
At first I was sticking it to Mengsk, because he's a douche who pretty much screwed over humanity for power. Then the Zerg came back and we had to high-tail it out of Mar Sara, on Jim's pimpin' ship. I really hope that Macross Missile Massacre the Hyperion performed is standard for Battle Cruisers.

I've been running various mission, picked up sexy scientist Ariel Hanson, stealing a fancy artifact from the Protoss, and deep-frying a zerg-infested human colony.

So far, I'm liking this more than the originals. The cutscenes are awesome, the music is awesome, the writing is awesome.

Pokemon Platinum:
Beat Crasher Wake, who I imagine constantly flexing and talking like Macho Man Randy Savage. Went very far out of my way to get a Pikachu to use electric-attacks on his Gyarados, though it turned out my Lopunny can learn Thunder and I could have taught it to her ages ago. Time wasted? YOU decide!

Started the game, hit the first 5 levels on world 1. Sunset beach was particularly memorable.

Tron 2.0
On Fcon's server. Manually adjusted the firewall to allow Alan to arrive. Also met my first Datawraith, the new threat now that the corrupted are no longer an issue. Once we were both inside the server, time to explore. Found that Fcon was setting up a massive mobile server to distribute datawraiths. Time to put a stop to it.

Ah, the DKC... good times.

I managed to check out the Legacy (opinions and spoilers here) today. I went last week, but the projector broke. Good thing I showed up early that time and didn't have to wait to get the refund. It would have sucked to have shown up late and found myself at the--

Having failed my last time around, I decided to let Katey's timer die down just to see what would happen. Unfortunately, no horrifying child zombie movie was played, just a "Katey has turned" message.
Restarted... again. sigh... At least I'm finding fun new combos. My current weapon loadout includes a sticky bomb (dart+dynamite), a freezer bomb (fire extinguisher + dynamite), an auger (electric drill + spear), a mobile sonic boom (guitar + amp), Tenderizers (MMA globs + nails), and a Lightsaber. Yes, a frickin' lightsaber (Flashlight + gems).

Pokemon Platinum:
Eight badges and a Giratina under my belt. Before I deal with the Elite 4 and delicious Cynthia (And her nearly godlike team) I want to go capture Dialga and Palkia. Good news: I have the adamant and Lustrous orbs. Downside: I'm in neither the position nor the MOOD to deal with either of them. They're apparently much, much more difficult to capture than, Kyogre and Groudon, and I still have flashbacks to those two.

EDIT: Okay I read a LOT of stuff wrong here. Facing off with Palkia and Dialga requires me to have at least seen all 210 Pokemon in the Sinnoh Pokedex, with some not requiring me to fight them. (Palkia, Dialga, and Mesprit, for example)

Other thing I read wrong: Higher catch rate = easier to catch. Palkia and Dialga are among the EASIEST legendaries to capture. Which is very, very relieving.

Cleared the 1st world, went back for remaining KONG symbols and puzzle pieces. Planned to call it a day except I surprisingly unlocked a secret (and insanely difficult) level. Cleared that level to get more puzzle pieces and a pearl of unknown usage. Cool.

FAllout New Vegas
Fought with the mission "I put a spell on you" for days but kept running into scripting errors that prevented me from moving forward properly. Resorted to console commands to reset the quest and retry (feel free to hold that against me if you wish) but got the same results. Finally had to install a mod specifically created to correct this bug. :BANG_HEAD:
Anyway, found the spy in Camp McCarren and through eavesdropping on radio chatter, found where he left a bomb. Disarmed the bomb and saved the NCR a catastrophic blow.
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

Remember when I said I'd kill you last?

I lied!

Much like Platinum and Emerald, I'm six badges down and waaaaaay overleveled for this. Unlike those two I'm only relying on just my Typhlosion. I'm going to ask a friend if I can borrow his DS so I can do some trading to build a better team in HG and to fill out my Pokedex in Platinum. (I still intend to have Palkia and Dialga before the Elite Four)

I'm counting this as a game because I'm being played by Microsoft. What kind of company makes the pieces which hold overheating heatsinks into place out of malleable metal which lose the shape over time/after exposure to heat??

Opened the unit (an ordeal and in and of itself), replaced the defective x-clamps with bolts and washers which won't lose their shape and cleaned out/reapplied some thermal paste. System works like new, now.

I'd have having to put more money into this half-assed platform, but damn, I'm going to need some more games and accessories.

Finally able to move forward with this game. Wasted no time in running the missions, this time running into TK in the underground and having time to chase after and board the train. He escaped, but I managed to get my hands on the service access key. In the absence of a fast travel system, the underground ends up being the next best thing. With that mission done, hit the Code blue mission to get some more Zombrex for Katie.

You think it's a coincidence that the 360 hardware tends to fall apart, and that Microsoft is primarily a software company?

Pokemon Heart Gold:
Six badges down. Also, I got me a shiny red Gyarados. Okay, well that's redundant in this case, since "shiny" and "red" mean pretty much the same thing here. Unless this is FireFly and "Shiny" means "good."
