Super Mario Galaxy:
91 stars as Luigi, and the worst parts seem to be over. (The Dusty Dune Purple Coin Star, for example) And, oddly enough, over much less painfully than when I attempted it with Mario. Stars that took multiple tries with Mario, are going down in one shot with Luigi.

More fun to be had. Managed to activate the 2nd water tower and escape the Dahakha again. With this act, unlocked the final beam which held the Empress's lair door closed. Returned to the hourglass chamber, only to be attacked by the Dahakha yet again. The other dark character was there too. LUckily for me, but not for him, the Dahakha killed him instead of me and left. Go figure. :-?
Followed Kaileena into the empress's lair but there was no empress. Only Kaileena... wielding swords... ah crap. She's the empress. Looks like there's going to be a fight.

Took another crack at the Mad Castle level. This time managed to beat the level and take out the Shamans. Their leader got the hardest treatment as I put a dog collar on him. Then chained the collar to my bike. Then rode off into the sunset. Fill in the blanks.

Team Fortress 2:
I played for around four hours yesterday. (In two big two-hour sessions with an hour long separation) I only partially regret that.

I got the achievement "Hardcore" (Killing 1000 enemies...not all at once) "0wn the Means of Production" (A Heavy Achievement, where I destroy 20 stick bombs by killing the Demoman who placed them; again, not all at once, since a Demoman can only have 8 sticky bombs active at once) and "Hot Potato." (A Pyro Achievement obtained after deflecting 100 projectiles or stickbombs with the Flamethrower's compression blast, again, not all at once)

Final Fantasy X:
Bought a used PS2 just so I could play this. It's all good...except for Bliztball. I've committed myself to beating the only mandatory game, unfortunately. I'd like to call Blitzball the most bullshit game ever created by man, but that's technically wrong since I'm 100% certain it was made by the Devil.

EDIT:

I uncommitted myself. Who thought this was a good idea?! Better stats still only mean you'll probably succeed!

Met up with Auron and his badassness. He was the inspiration for every Samuel L Jackson character ever.

Currently grinding on the Mi'ihen Highroad. I love being able to switch out party members in the middle of battle...

Managed to defeat the Empress despite her many cheap maneuvers. Sadly, her death did not stop the Sands of time from being created and instead actually caused it to occur in the first place. This point was quickly proven by the arrival of the Dahaka. I managed to escape again and found a mural which stated that the "mask of the wraith" could give me another chance (I'd have rather had a Deku scrub mask but whatcha gonna do? :P ). Fled the chamber and escaped the Dahaka yet again. Currently travelling the tunnels looking for the mask.

Fought some Sinspawn on the Mushroom Rock Ridge. The plan was to essentially use machina to shoot the living hell out of Sin. In terms of the world of Spira, that roughly translates into Christians using abortion and gay marriage to stop the physical incarnation of the Devil. As you can imagine, both plans would achieve the same result; an awful lot of pain, suffering, and death.

Passed through places. Got branded a traitor, but I like to have Bahamut deal with anyone who likes to point that out. And by "Deal with" I mean "Murder." Speaking of, killed Seymour, though he didn't seem to get the hint, and tried to kill us two more times. As it turns out, half of the ruling group are "unsent" people who haven't had a proper ceremony upon death, and, coupled with an extremely strong emotion, remain in this world as immortal undead. The other half of the ruling group wasn't exactly happy about this, and were promptly murdered.

continued working through the tunnels. Looks like I didn't have much farther to go. After some surprisingly clever platforming, wallclimbing, and bar swinging (which pretty much describes this entire game. :D ), I finally found the mask of the Wraith. To everyone's surprise (sarcasm), the mask of the wraith turned me into... shudder... A WRAITH! Basically I have infinite sand but slowly decreasing health. But at least I have a kickass new look.

Team Fortress 2:
Hit up an achievement farm and got the last of the class weapons, including:

-The Medic's Ubersaw, which attacks slower but fills the Medic's Ubercharge gauge by 25% for each hit.

-The Heavy's KGB: Killing Gloves of Boxing, a pair of over-sized (Even by Heavy's standards) boxing gloves.

-The Scout's Sandman, a baseball and bat that can stun any enemy, even invincible ones, but completely removes the Scout's double-jump when equipped.

-The Scout's Bonk! Atomic Energy Drink, which gives the Scout super-speed, making him invincible, but he can't attack under the influence, and shortly afterwords, he experiences a massive crash.

Meaning I finally have all 12 unlockable weapons...until the next pack.

Hey, so was Jarate just an April Fool's gag?

Grand Theft Auto: Advance [GBA]:
Settled the score with Vinnie, tried to defend 8-Ball, but he was arrested. Fear not, he'll be freed in the next chronological GTA, specifically at the beginning of GTA3.

My next mission involves 'stocking up on ammo' and taking on the Yardies. I guess Mike doesn't manage to kill King Courtney, as he's back in GTA3 and gives missions to Claude.

Drift City [PC]:
Not crazy about the new update. The UI looks much worse in orange and black. Why couldn't they just keep the regular blue? Even with my brightness pumped up, it's still hard to see.

Reached Level 70. Great, now I can't say I'm a Level 69 any more.

Just so you know, I only have anything resembling actual skill with the Pyro weapons, and even then I can rarely take down anything bigger than a Scout before getting mowed down. They usually die from their burns afterwords, though.

_____ is Dominating Ydwyrd (That's me, by the way)

*Two seconds later*

Ydwyrd got revenge on _____

That is hilarious every time it happens.

Possibly. While the Sniper pack was confirmed to be next April 2nd, Jarate was not mentioned in that post, meaning it's neither been confirmed or denied.

Took my new sand wraith form out for a spin. I actually prefer the wraith look. Primarily because the decreasing health bar means the game-makers had to make save/health points much more common, so I got to save a lot more often.
Basically took myself through a deja vu quest, revisiting areas I've been to before but in reverse. Along the way, relived some earlier encounters with the sand Wraith, but with myself as the wraith. Even saved my own life a few times.
Finally reached the central chamber, where I witnessed the Sandwraith meeting his end at the Dahaka's hands. SCREW THAT!
Dodged the Dahaka's attack and let the past version of me meet a gruesome end. Definitely a time paradox but it freed me of the mask's curse. Go figure.
Tried to talk Kaileena into not fighting. Too bad i didn't get any life upgrades (there were upgrades?) that would let me skip this fight.
Kaileena's just as much of a pain as she was the first time around. More so, actually. This will not be fun.

CORRECTION: Kaileena's not hard, just very, very cheap. To combat her, I had to be very, very cheap and spam a single move over and over again. REally not how I wanted to end the game. :|
Still, beat the game and changed time, though I got the bad ending. Oh well. Time to watch the good ending on youtube and then move on to two thrones.

Started game. got ass kicked. lost Kaileena. Tried to save Kaileena only to find that my actions in the 2nd game had invalidated all my actions in the first game and the boss of the 1st game is now the enemy for this game. He kills Kaileena and I get infected with Sand and become a dark prince. Try to fight my darkness until I find that water temporarily cures it. Worked my way back inside Babylon (the transformation aftermath left me outside the city limits) and met an old friend from the first game who doesn't remember me because the first game never happened. Still chasing after the Vizier.

Madworld
Finally managed to kill Frank to clear the dungeon. After that, it was an arena battle against a buxom Vamp-babe named Erika. After killing her, rode my bike to the next area to fight a boss named KoJack (but only after playing a fun mini-game involving running down aliens)

Tracked down one of Saren's cohorts to an ice-covered and yet painfully corporate colony. In true BioWare fashion, I uncovered a complex plot of corruption and betrayal that still somehow has no relation to the main plot. I swear, I just played out an entire episode of Law & Order, and it wasn't even relevant to the main plot of the game. You gotta hand it to BioWare, they sure now how to do side-quests.

Started the game and played through the intro sequence at Bowser's keep. After the star road and sword disaster, found that the path to the keep was destroyed. Returned to the mushroom kingdom to inform the chancellor. While there, met a young 'tadpole' named mallow who had just been robbed. Chased the thief through bandits way and retrieved the coin. Returned to the mushroom kingdom to find it swarming with Shyguys. Defeated the leader of the shyguys and freed the kingdom. From there, it's on to Kero Sewers to take Mallow home.

SMRPG FTW. I think I'm only missing a Star or two. Man, I really oughtta finish that game.

Was playing some Battlefield Heroes Beta with a friend of mine and were were talking about other EA games. The topic of The Godfather: The Game II came up, as we both played and enjoyed the first The Godfather game. We both felt like reinstalling it and having some fun. So I did.

The Godfather: The Game [PC]:
Started a new game. My character sorta looked like Kyle Katarn. Or an oldschool 12-inch G.I. Joe, with life-like hair and beard and Kung-Fu Grip.

My father, a humble bakery owner, was gunned down by a rival family. Don Corleone took care of me as a boy and helped my mother. But years later, I became some no-good wiseguy on the streets, in some fat kid's gang.

The Don sent Luca Brasi (voiced by Gary Chalk) to recruit me. Started doing odd jobs for Luca. He taught me how to do jobs, how to shoot, how to evade heat, and then, he goes and gets whacked. Since Luca was my character's mentor, my guy took Luca's death really badly.

Went to meet Monk at the barber shop to tell him what had happened, only to find myself in a shoot-out. Monk got hit, and I had to save his sister before driving the Don to the hospital.

Right now, I'm working on taking over businesses and rackets for the Family. I think I'm at Level 7 or 8, Rank of Outsider. It seems that unless I do something directly to help the people on the streets, they hate me. If I take down some thugs, they'll thank me. If I bribe a cop, they'll ask me how I can keep all the cops in my pocket. If I buy crap off the black market, they'll thank me for helping out guys who are down on their luck.

But if I DON'T do any of that, they'll hate me for the way I look, assume I'm some kinda hoodlum, and lay on the hate. Hell, some grieving chick at a funeral parlour told me "It shoulda been you instead of him." So I choked her.

I recovered my Saved Game files from 3 years ago (when I first played the game) to take this screenshot. Once again, I'm going to try to make my character Indiana Corleone.

Man, what haven't I done?

Found a massive plant-like creature, that Saren had hoped to control, due to its mind-control spores. However, it was causing the colony a lot of grief, so I had to put ol' Gravemind...er...the Tholian down...

Ran a metric ass-load of side-missions, including, and mostly limited to, shooting people in the head. This lead to me thinking, on multiple planets, "I could kill every [nasty word removed] in here..." My shrink is going to want to know about that.

On a less murderous front, I am working on getting lucky with Liara, the hot alien scientist.

I've spent about 22 hours in-game. Maybe half of that was spent on side-quests. What BioWare games lack in story missions, they more than make up for in side-quests.

Mass Effect:
Why yes, I did get lucky with that hot alien scientist. It was less than what Fox News claimed, but a bit more than what I expected.

Had to sacrifice one of my team-mates in a conflict I don't usually get in games. (Beyond the usual "Should I stab them or should I shoot them?") In short, one of them was left behind, maybe 500 feet from a 20-kiloton nuclear blast. And here I thought I could save both...

Currently trying to stop Saren and his Evil Robot Spaceship...it makes Megatron look like a girl scout...

Still chasing after the vizier but hit a few snags. Helped Farah rescue the people trapped in the brothel and defeated one of the Vizier's lieutenants. Transformed during the battle and Farah saw me in my dark form. She fled and I spent the next half an hour chasing her but she would have nothing to do with me.
From there, returned to my original mission. At one point, decided to be noble and rescue my people trapped in a burning building. Turned out to be a trap. Using a giant statue of my father and a conveyor belt, freed the citizens who were very grateful. Took a chariot and chased after an enemy that had attacked the city. At the end, fought a guy with a giant sword and a guy with a giant axe. Not my favorite battle ever as both of them have very long ranges and quick swings. Still, managed to take them down. Well, I took down one, Farah showed up and took down the other.
After my rescue from the fire building, she's forgiven me and we're working together again despite being separated somehow in every scene. Took the elevator to the gardens and got separated again.
