The Happy Locust wrote:Fun game and still holds up well, thought the combat is easily the worst part. Luckily I hear that gets fixed in the next game. Speaking of which, time to install the next game.

Let me be the first to tell you: Warrior Within was not as good as Sands of Time. All the light humor and quirky characters were replaced with gritty characters and Godsmack.

Allow me to explain while I have an aneurysm from pure frustration... All night I've been going for 3 achievements in Halo 3, my last achievements:
Stepping Razor
Killing Frenzy
Overkill
I've come within one kill of each tonight, each time I've died from some noob and his noobish ways.
Crazy king on snow bound for killing frenzy... died at 9 kills from a spartan laser.
Crazy king on epitaph for Overkill... died at triplekill from a gravity hammer.
Sword slayer at the pit for stepping razor... died at double kill from an assassination.

Psycho Warrior wrote:the assination was one guy jumping off the tower near the sword room in the pit, the gravity hammer guy suddenly ran through the door in epitaph, never saw him coming, and the spartan laser hit me as I hit the wall smashing a guy in the ghost.

Despite my intention to be evil this playthrough, I'm finding myself on neutral bordering good. Sadly, the best perks/gifts/rewards are usually found by peaceful negotiation. At least I still have the option to blow up Megaton.
