Finally installed the game and played... a week ago. For some reason haven't been updating here. Go figure. Anyway, cleared the tutorial, ran around the castle, killed my sand-possessed dad, met my new assistant (whose name I forget), found a new sword, and got separated. I'm currently in the caverns beneath the castle leaping from stalactite to stalactite.

Fallout 3
Restarted the game. Last time I was a good guy. Now I'm going to be an Evil Girl. There's balance in that.
at 10, I got in a fight with Butch. At 16, I sided with the bullies in making fun of Amata.
Escaped the vault but not before causing some havoc on my way out. This time I kept Amata's gun and put it to good use. Convinced Butch to ditch his mom and left her to die by radroaches (but only because I couldn't kill her myself due to the old lady's surprisingly high HP). Let the Overseer live this time and left with Amata's blessing (not to be good, but just because I killed the overseer last time). I escaped and reached the wasteland. Time to head towards Megaton. And the best part is that my failed attempts at murder have already left me with an evil rating. SWEET!

FFX-2... I cringed and stopped playing that game after the intro boss.

Halo 3 Xbox 360
Achievement hunting. Going for stepping razor, overkill, and killing frenzy. But for some reason I keep getting slayer on guardian...

I...Jesus...how do I describe this? I guess I'll use Tweezy's words: Killing tons of dudes.

I don't know the plot, I don't know if there even IS a plot. All I know is that within minutes of starting the first level, I had killed roughly a dozen zombie-like creatures with a spinning blade weapon. It was more beautiful than I could possibly have imagined.

Also the main character is voice by Cam "Liquid Snake" Clarke.

Currently running through some Catacombs. Also, I have obtained a stake launcher. I don't know if I'd classify them as stakes, they're more like small trees.

The wrath of PsychoBitch continues unabated. After reaching Megaton, took some time getting reacquainted with the locale. Started the wasteland survival guide mission and checked out the super-duper mart as well as getting myself irradiated. got the message for Arefu and the whereabouts of dear old dad. Helped Moriarty get his money back from Silver. Though I nonviolently got the money from her, I killed her anyway for the negative karma bonus.

Made it to the Scarab level... dear god this game is hard. I'm playing on normal and my ass has been kicked more than when I first time I played an FPS on line.

I can get the scarab down to about 1/8th his health but then that's where he starts firing on my base. Need to find a quicker way to kill him.

GAME.OVER!
Long story short. separated from Farah, caught up with Farah, separated from Farah, caught up with Farah, reached the hourglass, got thrown out a window, ended up in a dream temple culminating in a shared bath with FArah, got separated from Farah, got a new sword but lost the dagger, climbed the tower of Dawn from the outside this time, defeated more enemies, lost Farah, locked the hourglass, reversed the game's events, then stopped the Vizier from betraying Farah's father and gave her the dagger of time. phew...

Fun game and still holds up well, thought the combat is easily the worst part. Luckily I hear that gets fixed in the next game. Speaking of which, time to install the next game.

Let me be the first to tell you: Warrior Within was not as good as Sands of Time. All the light humor and quirky characters were replaced with gritty characters and Godsmack.

:???:

Not that I have any problem with Godsmack, mind you. I was already aware of the difference in tone but I was completely unprepared for the presentation of it. when I reached the title screen, the music had me thinking I accidentally launched Doom 3 somehow. Still, fun is fun... even if it's not quirky fun.

Got past the scarab with the dumbest glitch I've ever seen. Put an infantry troop on the covenant sniper perch to the right of the scarab and it will sit there and fire at them... and not hurt them.

Got past the first flood stage, nothing too hard about that one.

Chrono Trigger DS:
BEATEN! For real this time. Fought the Dream Devourer, the entity that would later become the Devourer of Time in Chrono Cross had I not just killed it. Even though it was just a recolor of Lavos with Schala on top (In a really nice glowing effect), the recolor of Lavos was really nice, with more red, gray, and black, and looked much more menacing.

So now:

Chrono Trigger DS: New Game+:
BEATEN! Beat Lavos at the earliest possible point, right at the Millennial Fair. Using only Crono. Fortunately, he was extremely high level with some of the best equipment in the game (And an item that decreases MP cost by 75%, allowing me to easily spam Luminaire, which formed the majority of my strategy in the later points of the game) and the Dreamweaver weapon, with it's 90% critical hit rate.

Got the third ending, the Dream Team, with messages from the development team for the game. Especially Tetsuya Nomura doing his best Hideo Kojima impression, and making it look like the game reset.

WARNING INCOMING GAMER RAGE.

Allow me to explain while I have an aneurysm from pure frustration... All night I've been going for 3 achievements in Halo 3, my last achievements:
Stepping Razor
Killing Frenzy
Overkill

I've come within one kill of each tonight, each time I've died from some noob and his noobish ways.

Crazy king on snow bound for killing frenzy... died at 9 kills from a spartan laser.

Crazy king on epitaph for Overkill... died at triplekill from a gravity hammer.

Sword slayer at the pit for stepping razor... died at double kill from an assassination.

Noobish ways? For an assassination or a gravity hammer, they'd have to be right next to you. And the Spartan Laser isn't exactly great on small moving targets. (I.e. anyone not in a vehicle like a Scorpion or Wraith) You have a radar, you should have been able to at least see the hammer and assassination coming, and for the laser you'd have had to slow down quite a bit, or the guy was a killer shot with the Spartan laser.

the assination was one guy jumping off the tower near the sword room in the pit, the gravity hammer guy suddenly ran through the door in epitaph, never saw him coming, and the spartan laser hit me as I hit the wall smashing a guy in the ghost.

BTW, I was just venting in my last post. I was pi$$ed.

How are any of those "noobish"? Three people got the drop on you. How do you think any of the people you've killed feel about it?

Reminds me of a time me and some friends were playing Juggernaut; I saw someone prepared to snipe, and waited right behind them. Sure enough, they became Juggernaut, and failed to notice I was right behind them; one clean assassination later, I was the Juggernaut. Tweezy called me "a camping bastard" but still admitted that it was a good kill.

Psycho Warrior wrote:BTW, I was just venting in my last post. I was pi$$ed.

If you hate that, don't start playing Team Fortress 2 just yet. Last I checked, almost everyone was playing Scout after the Scout pack was released. They nerfed the Scout three times since then, because it can double jump, run at a much higher speed than anyone else, and is exceedingly deadly at close range.

Reached Arefu and agreed to help the locals with their "family" problem. But first, random exploring. I happened across Vault 106, a horrific experiment involving mind-altering gasses. All the vault dwellers were insane so I put them out of their misery, finding a bobblehead and a bunch of skill books for my trouble even though I too was experiencing some odd visions.

When you're frustrated you just want to b*tch, and if you're an achievement whore like me you tend to get ticked going after achievements and them slipping out of your hands at the last second.

Back to missions for me. while searching for the family, ran accross Hamilton's hideaway, which I had somehow missed last time around. Explored and looted. Then went to speak with the family and convinced Ian to leave them and return to town. Also negotiated a truce between the town of Arefu and the Family, netting myself a shishkebab skematic, some bottle caps, and the Hematophagy perk.
With this accomplished, returned to the wasteland survival guide. Needed to go to minefield but first decided to prepare. After assembling my shish-kebab weapon, headed to Paradise falls to get the Mesmetron weapon. Moved on to minefield, collecting mines for Moira and fitting a slave collar on Arkansas. Chapter 1 of the wasteland guide is done and also took care of part 1 of the "strictly business" sidequest while I was at it. 2 birds, 1 slave collar.

Despite my intention to be evil this playthrough, I'm finding myself on neutral bordering good. Sadly, the best perks/gifts/rewards are usually found by peaceful negotiation. At least I still have the option to blow up Megaton.

Mostly random exploring at first. discovered Hubris comics and cleared out a Ghoul nest.
Helped Moira finish chapter 2 of the survival guide by running headlong into a mirelurk den anhd out without harming any of them (although I think they may have snipped off some essential parts during my run). The next chapter was slightly more relaxed and simply involved making Mole Rat's heads explode. Oh, and a bunch of Raiders but I made short work of them.
A detour through Falls church put in a position to help a brotherhood type rescue an initiate from super mutants. the initiate was dead when I arrived. When I tried to tell the paladin, he had died already too. Go figure. At least now I get to keep his power armor.
In Megaton, Killed Moriarty, giving Gob and Nova control of his bar.
Save for Moira, I've pretty much done all I can do in megaton. I pulled all my goods from the locker I was using, said my goodbyes, and rigged the bomb to explode. Currently on my way to Tenpenny Tower.

Well, I've officially regained my status as evil, and all it took was one nuclear explosion
Left Megaton and made the trek to Tenpenny tower. Explored a few areas on the way but my large inventory made item-collecting pointless. At Tenpenny tower, greeted Tenpenny and Mr. Burke and detonated Megaton's bomb. So beautiful...
It took the loss of a city, but guess who just got himself a penthouse suite.
Unloaded mny collectables and explored. To convince the bigots to allow ghouls into the residence, used the following:
Mrs. Primrose: agreed right away.
Mr. Dashwood: Agreed happily.
Mr. Wellington: Killed by Mrs. Wellington.
Mrs. Wellington: Killed Mr. Wellington after finding a love note, then fled to the wilderness.
Ms. Lancaster: Would have been killed by Ms. Wellington, but luckily for her (so to speak), she's currently and "enforced citizen" of Paradise Falls.
Mr. Chen: Didn't want the ghouls in. I changed his mind by demonstrating how to use my shishkebob.
Mrs. Montenegro: Didn't want the ghouls in. A live grendade dropped in her pocket supplied incentive (and quite comically destroyed her store).

Yay, the ghouls get to live here. Just need to inform them.

After taking up residence, did some more exploring at a local grocer. was attacked by the Regulators, but luckily a Yao Guai spawned in the same place and both problems solved each other.
Discovered Andale and it's terrible secret. I managed to endear myself to the locals by portraying myself as a cannibal. Well, I may not have been a cannibal (at least not until I get the perk for it), but I still sliced the locals into bite-sized bits just for the hell of it.

Decided to visit Megaton's ruins. There I met a ghould so disgustingly cheerful that I wanted to kill her. Of course, Moira was like that before she became a ghoul. :P (even among ghouls, she is hideous). Well, at least the survival guide mission's not over.

I'll probably hit girdershade and rockopolis next, then continue on my quest and finally go locate Galaxy News Radio. Yes, all this and I've only cleared on story mission so far. Aren't you all proud? :-B
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.
