You might like the UT2004 versions. Someone ported the Strider, the Gunship, and the hunter-copter.

considering it takes 8 rockets to bring them down, my definition of "worth it" is a bit different than yours.

Half-life 2
Led the rebellion through the streets of City 17, eventually reaching Barney and freeing him from snipers, but only after losing Alyx in the process. With Barney at my side, broke into the Overwatch nexus building, avoided many traps, and destroyed some generators. With the generators down, more havoc ensued, much of it involving striders. Currently in the underground tunnel leading to the Citadel.

Infinite rocket boxes and ample cover are your friends!

Resident Evil 4 [PC]:
Found Salazaar. He tried to kill us with a ceiling of slow-moving easily-stoppable spikes. And he left the door open. FAIL.

So Ashley got captured by the bug things. I proceed to take out their nest. These guys always seem to drop the Eye gems for the Butterfly lamp. I'm guessing that's a bad joke, because they're insects. #-o

Fell into one of the traps. Escaped. What is it with Salazaar's death-traps being easily-escapable spike-things?

Went through the tunnels, and thanks to the Chicago Typewriter, made short work of the 'right-hand-man.' 100 Damage per second FTW.

Went to the furnace room, and the 'Writer made short work of both El Gigantes. Scored a nice 15k from each of them, and didn't even have to use the trap in the floor.

Went through the caves, took out all the bugs, went topside, read the disturbing letter from Ada.

On my way to the catacombs now. Will have enough for the Infinite Launcher very soon.

Startropics 2: Zoda's revenge
GAME.OVER!
took a break from fallout, half-life, and portal and picked this game up from where I left it. Cleared out the medieval cave and destroyed the dragon, gaining a tetrad for my trouble. got an emergency message from Mica at C-island that there was trouble. Time-traveled to present day C-island to find all the villagers turned into wild boars. Went down into the dungeon, met the now-undead C-serpent, killed it, and proceeded to face every boss in the game followed by Zoda-Z. Zoda went down and the alien kids were rescued. Returned to find the villagers restored. The chief used his puzzle skills to reorganize the tetrads to a magic shape which then released the blocks' contents; the Argonian leader Hirocon. I was praised for saving him and his family and the argonians returned to their homeworld, vowing to forever remember me as a hero.

Tweezy's roommates were shocked, after our third defeat waiting for the chopper, that we were playing on Normal, where this kind of difficulty is uncommon. Decided to go exploring and go find GNR while on my way to the hospital for the Reilly's rangers mission. Found bethesda's office building . Who knew software developers kept mounted turrets in their lobby?
Tried to get moving but the game kept crashing. Well, not actually crashing but I kept getting booted back to my desktop and this particular game doesn't like to be minimized.

Half-life 2
Nearing the end. Worked my way through the citadel. Lost my weapons but my gravity gun was supercharged somehow. My ammo now consists of ANYTHING!
After a fairly destructive rampage, reached Dr. Breen's office. Granted I arrived there trapped in a floating steel container but at least I made it. Dr. Mossman had a change of heart and backstabbed Dr. Breen, freeing me. Unfortunately, Breen got away. But that leaves me at the citadel with access to the Combine's Dark Energy reactor. Time to cause some damage

I don't even know what that means.

Half-life 2
With me and my super gravity gun let loose in the reactor, it was only a matter of time before I brought the entire thing crashing down. Too bad there's the matter of the the unescapable explosion. Oh wait, I've been saved by the G-man so to speak. He whisked me away, leaving Alyx to perish and me to rot in stasis for another 20 years. Thus ending the game. I hope there's more to this.
Oh wait... there is.

half-life 2: Episode 2
saved from the G-man by the Vortigaunts, woke up at the base of the citadel. Unfortunately, the damage I caused is causing bigger problems and the only way to solve it is to go back inside. um... yay?
Luckily, getting inside was the easy part thanks to air-DOG flightlines. Followed immediately by the VW-van roller coaster. Helluva ride. At the bottom, got nailed by a security trap that thankfully malfunctioned and gave me back my super Gravity gun. Using this, thoroughly wrecked stuff but managed to get the containment field for the reactor back online. With that problem resolved, hitched a railcar to safety... until it crashed. Me and Alyx are going on foot from here on out.

I assume you forgot to bring the extra gum...

Team Fortress 2:
Got the Kritzkrieg for the Medic (Faster loading Ubercharge, plus 100% crit rate on the Ubered player, but unlike the regular Medigun, the Uber won't affect the Medic), and Natascha for the Heavy. Now that I've got my own house, I've got a place to store my stuff. Which is good because I somehow always end up carrying more than I expected on these trips.
Tried to go find GNR even though that mission was skipped when I hit Rivet city. Got lost and found subway tunnels that took me to every possible corner of the map except the point 200 feet from me where I wanted to go. :-x Gave up and decided to go help Reilly's rangers. Made it to the hospital and had a relatively easy time with the super mutants there. Crossed over to the statesman hotel, found Theo's body and lots more super mutants. These were higher level brutes and a lot harder to take down. Eventually made my way to the top despit having used up all my useful ammo on the mutants. Met the Ranger's and supplied them with a fission battery to power the express elevator. We took off running, fighting our way through the hordes of mutants.
after escaping the hotel, hit the sewers and kept on running, only to find myself in another part of D.C. which has even more Super mutants than the hotel. I'm low on health, low on ammo, and both sides of the tunnel I'm in are full of enemies that prevent me from fast travelling to safetly... This will not be fun. :?

Don't be too impressed. I used Achievement farms because a lot of the Achievements are just ridiculous. "Kill twenty people, while being healed by a medic, where neither of you die." What the hell? I can barely kill three before I'm blown to pieces in regular combat, and I'd hate to meet the Superhuman (Or should I say Ubermensch, since the Medic is German?) who could. I had to do it against bots or I'd never do it.

I can't blame you. I mean, the only way to get some of them is to play on Achievement Servers.

But you now have better gear, and I've still got all the default crap! :P

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed:
Where to begin?

Finished the mission on Raxus prime, then went to Felucia to kill Shaak Ti...can't say that I'm happy about that, but whatever.

Met up with Vader on the unfinished Executor. A fantastic scene: Vader tells Starkiller that the Emperor is on his way. Starkiller at first seems impressed that Vader summoned Palpatine...only for Vader to turn around and say he didn't; Starkiller was followed. After a quick lightsaber through the chest, Palpatine tells Vader to kill Starkiller. What happens next is Starkiller being tossed around the bridge like a ragdoll, to the sound of Palpatine's laughter, and flung out into space.

And then Vader brings Starkiller back to life, and then giving Starkiller orders to form an alliance of Rebels and dissidents to rise up against Palpatine...you read that right: The Rebellion was Vader's idea. Talk about your major backfiring.

Went to Cloud City (No Lando, though) to get Rom Kota, who I had conveniently not killed. Went to Kashyyyk to save Princess Leia, and now I'm heading back to Felucia to get Bail Organa.

Fallout 3
Took some major sleuthing and backtracking but I finally a way to reach Reilly's rangers' compound. Got a kickass armor for my trouble. I mean, it's not really kickass in appearance but the bonus effects are very worth it.
Left that area and decided to try my luck at Big town. Infiltrated the Germantown police dept and killed a surprisingly low amount of super mutants. Important note: Super mutants are vulnerable to point blank sneak attack critical combat shotgun blasts to the legs. Rescued Red and Shorty and escorted them back to the town. Showed the townsfolk how to sneak to avoid further attacks (though had to rescue one of them from the mutants).
As long as I was catching up on old quests, went to Grayditch to find the fire ant source. went underground but apparently took a wrong turn as I came up elsewhere and agreed to help the brotherhood of steel find a trapped initiate. I've found 2 so far but they were dead. Still, no point in leaving that nice shiny armor on their corpses  Too bad I don't have the training to use it but at least I can pawn it off for some quick caps.

Saving Britain from the parasitic Chimera...you're welcome. Well, okay, we've basically lost at this point, considering that I'm pretty sure I'm the last American here that hasn't been infected. Rampaging through the Conversion Center, where they speed up the infection process...you know, they captured me, but they left the cell doors open...and left me my gun. Not exactly military masterminds, huh? Makes you wonder how an evil army was able to take over Europe when they didn't think to take away prisoner's weapons.

Half-life 2: Episode one
Well, that was shorter than expected. After surviving the rail car crash, made it through city 17 and met up with other resistance members. Escorted them to a train station under combine attack and got them to safety. Then hitched another train with Alyx but only after fighting off a Gunship and a strider unit. Got out of the city just as the citadel blew, but looks like the blast wave ends the game.

Half-life 2: Episode two
Survived the blast wave and tried to find my way to white Forest. On the way, a hunter attacked and Alyx was wounded. Luckily a Vortigaunt was able to save us. We took Alyx to an underground tunnel and defended her and the vortigaunt against non-stop antlion attacks until more vortigaunts showed up to assist. To heal Alyx though, we needed Antlion larval extract, which meant I had to go spelunking and face an antlion hive and lots of headcrabs. Eventually retreived the extract and was able to heal alyx, but only after getting a surprising visit from the G-man. With Alyx Healed, we found a car and are currently driving to White forest. Unfortunately, two hunter attacks and a failed radio transmission aren't helping our cause
