2 days and no activity?

Fallout 3
Where to pick up...? Okay, made my way to GNR (destroying a behemoth and collecting lots of power armor for later) and met three dog. To get him to tell me where my father went to, had to collect a relay dish from the super-mutant-ridden museum of technology. Hardly a cakewalk but I completed the mission. While there, completed the Jiggs' loot mission for some extra goods and got the Xuayong Assault Rifle for my troubles.
with GNR up and running again, was pointed towards Rivet City.
Finally visited Underworld while I was in the area, starting some freeform missions. Signed up with Crowley for the "shoot'em in the head" quest. will track those guys down shortly.
The majority of my time was pursuing Reily's Rangers at the statesman hotel. Got them out to safety after a few hours. REturned to the ranger compound and got a new armor for my trouble.

Odd, I'd swear I did more than this. I guess random exploring doesn't really net you many stories, does it?

UPDATE:
More game time. More accomplishments that don't push the story forward anymore.
I think I've set a record for most time-efficient mission progression. Went to Rivet City. while there, completed the replicated man quest (by getting Harkness's gun, ratting him out to zimmer, getting the cyber-implant, then icing Zimmer), while speaking to Pinkerton about the android, got the history of Rivet City too. When speaking to Harkness, took a moment to enslave Flak.
Next up, dropped by the Germantown Police HQ to rescue Red and Shorty. As soon as they were returned, enslaved Red, thus completing 2 quests.
Altogether, that makes 3 quests completed plus one chapter of the wasteland guide. Good times.
Oh, and got 2 keys for Crowley. Dukov's girl Cherry stole the key for me but I capped Dukov anyway. But at least I was nice enough to escort Cherry to Rivet City.
Oh, and in my habit of not moving the story forward, still didn't talk to Doctor Li the entire time I was in rivet city. :-B

Next is heavenly sword, then assians creed.

I borked gta4, i can't do drive-bys since i sniped the guy in a mission with an uzi when i was running down the stairs instead of chasing him :(

Minor mission questing today. Explored the Nuka-cola quantum factory and found some quantum, a shipping manifest, and the nuka-cola clear formula. Traded the formula to Goalie Ledaux for some quick caps, then murdered Ledaux for his unique mask.
With the quantum I collected, I returned to Girdershade and gave them to Ronald, who then used them to put the moves on Sierra... or so he hoped. Sierra's too ditzy and misinterpreted all his pickup lines. I actually feel kinda sorry for the guy.

Half-Life: Opposing Force:
Made it to the chapter "We Are Not Alone." Right when I get to the teleporter room Gordon uses to get to Xen (And, oh yes, many many maps are reused), I push the button to open the blast doors, and wouldn't you know it, the game freezes up every single time.

It's not my computer. I just upgraded, it can handle Half-Life 2 flawlessly, it should be able to handle the Half-Life expansions!

Well alright, it's been two days. I can do this then:

Half-Life: Opposing Force:
BEATEN! That freezing problem was solved by backtracking to the last loading screen, and then going back to the door.

Adrian Sheppard is being detained by the G-man, because the G-man doesn't want Sheppard telling everyone what happened. In that case, why he let Gordon, Barney, Kleiner, Eli, and Magnusson go free is beyond me. Though I assume it's because Gordon and Sheppard were the only two to go to Xen, but then Xen is common knowledge. (Mossman says in HL2 that the Resistance Teleporters use Xen as a relay point)

EDIT:

Half-Life: Blue Shift
BEATEN! I think that's every major game with the name Half-Life. Neat.

I take back what I said about Sheppard and Gordon being the only two to go to Xen; Barney also went there, he even spent more time there than Sheppard.

EDIT AGAIN:
But not Half-Life: Decay! Curse you, Valve, and you're numerous expansions!

I bought yesterday the new game of Larry Leisure Suit for Xbox 360, is nice but not that good as the last one on the normal Xbox.

Than I will gain the two last archievements from Spider-Man Web of Shadows the Red and Black suit ending.

Halo Wars I played for a while but I don't finished the game yet.

In Gears of War 2 I stuck in the last level in Hardcore because the PC Player is too silly to help me with the troiker to defend the radar station...

Random exploring of the DC area found me the Capital building's ruins; now populated by super mutants in constant battle with Talon Company. Explored the ruins, finding more goodies than I could carry most of the time and finished off who knows how many mutants and mercs. In the center of the area was a Behemoth. Luckily, Talon company wore him down and then I activated the turret system, leaving the behemoth a bloody mess long before I ever even entered the room. Cool...

UPDATE:
More exploring, but mission-based exploring this time. on my way to the republic of dave, discovered the wheaton armory and cleared out the raiders there. Found a few other small places too. Saved some wastelanders from a deathclaw and was rewarded with a map to the King Mirelurk's treasure. Discovered the temple of the union and agreed to help them. It's a total lie, but I still agreed.
Made a new friend too. I discovered Scrapyard, which I somehow missed entirely on my previous playthrough. DogMeat's now my loyal follower.
Reached the republic of dave. Rigged the election so that Rosie would win. Dave childishly threw a tantrum and stormed off. as soon as he was out of town, capped him and stole his key. the townsfolk were none the wiser of my involvement.
With this final key, returned to Underworld and gave it to Mr. Crowley. Completed his mission. Similar to previous events, I waited until he was out of town, capped him, and stole the keys back. I now have all the keys to fort Constantine. But first, time to go exploring the history museum.

Back, and fully charged.

GTA Advance [GBA]:
In Shoreside. Finished all the 'city worker' jobs. Man, the Flamethrower's great, other than the short range. Working on finding packages (got about 68) and doing Rampages before I move on the Shoreside races. NOT looking forward to those AT ALL. 78% through the game.

ReBoot [PS1]:
Warning: Incoming Game! Saved Baudway (the sector where Dot's Diner is located) from tears and Megabyte's viral plans.

Resident Evil: Director's Cut [PS1]:
I love how B-Movie this is. I'm expecting Bruce Campbell to show up somewhere.
Playing as Chris. Got the blue gem from that statue.

Drift City [PC]:
Working on getting the Tokens on both of my characters, 1337W422102 of the1337 Crew, and LordDESTRO of the -COBRA- Crew. Destro's almost got 50. Gonna get the bonus items and sell that crap off for mad profit. 1337's just a few Delivery Missions and Chases away from unlocking 2 cars.

Exteel [PC]:
The ONLY free-to-play game I'd ever pay money for (well, maybe Project Torque, if I played enough...). Bought $20 worth of RL$$$ and treated myself to a new mech and gear. Reached Level 17.

Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
Played a little just for the heck of it. Found myself in the waterworks surrounded by lots of gears. My path was hindered by the 2nd appearance of the dark wraith.
Made my way through the gearworks and encountered a golem. Spent an hour fighting, dying, fighting, and dying against that Golem. I finally beat the damn thing only to die crossing a pit. Oddly, (and infuriatingly), the game decides the best checkpoint to return me to is the golem battle, with 2% health, 2 feet in front of the golem, and with the controls locked to prevent me from dodging a lethal hit. Needless to say, I was not happy. :-x

To take my mind off the PoP pain, switched games.
Fallout 3
Travelin' time. Working my way to Vault 97 to get Agatha's stradivarius. But first, explored Old Olney. Too bad the place is a deathclaw nest. Wandered into a trap which stuck me in the sewers with more deathclaws. At least I got the prototype Medic Power Armor for my trouble. Plus any mission you can walk away from and sell 13 Deathclaw hands at the nearest store is a good one. :P

Let me talk to you a moment about the Witch. She's a severely bipolar lady-Infected, who has a tendency to cry a lot, until you disturb her, in which case she will scream and murder you a lot. She's a lot like a Mini-Tank.

Then they made an achievement where you one-shot her. This is not easy. Except I just did it. You have to get very, VERY close to her, and then quickly shoot her in the face with a shotgun.

I think I just lost about an hour off of my total lifespan. It didn't help that I accidentally jerked the shotgun upward in an extremely rare moment of panic, (I have never jerked like that before in Left 4 Dead. Doom, sure, Half-Life, sure, but not Left 4 Dead) or that the confirmation of the achievement didn't appear for a moment. But I got it.

Yeah, of course. There's an achievement for it and everything.

Left 4 Dead:
Got "Jump Shot"; getting a headshot on a Hunter while he attempts to pounce you. Yet another on a long list of Achievements I got by complete accident and blind luck. Currently 33 out of 51 Achievements. (65% according to Steam)

Groovy, I'll have to try that. I'm guessing a sniper headshot will take that bitch down. Most of the time when I kill a witch, it's with my pistol as I'm on the ground.

I got that one too, by accident as well! A Hunter was pouncing on my friend, so I boomstick'd in its direction and took off its head. Awesome.

Project Torque [PC]:
Yesterday was the last day of the IGN event, where you log into your IGN account, go to the event page, get a special code, then enter that code at the PT event page and get free bonus items in-game.

They were pretty good items. A 50-pack of something, 2 3-day bonus-point girls, something else I forgot, and a 7-day forklift. Tee hee.

Actually, no. It has to be done with a shotgun at close range with a shotgun, since it has much higher damage than the Hunting Rifle. Regular works, Auto Shotgun would be ideal because if the first shot doesn't work, then the second shot will at least assure you don't die. (Though you won't get the achievement) One good square shot between the eyes while she's still growling to just leave her be, and she SHOULD go down.

I've rarely ever gotten an achievement on purpose. In my experience, attempting to get most achievements only ends in frustration.

Like I said, it only ends in frustration. I've seen good farm servers ruined by people who didn't understand it was a farm, join the wrong team (Red team was players, blue was the bots we were supposed to farm) ad begin either A) repeatedly capturing the flags (They're right next to each other) or B) Killing everyone who was trying to farm. There was also an Engineer who would put up a Sentry, which would kill the bots before anyone else could.

Tru, dat. Good thing there's voice chat and that those people sometimes end up getting kicked.

Continued my quest. Entered Vault 97 and found the stradivarius and sheet music, along with a boatload of mirelurks. Survived and escaped, but just barely. returned the stradivarius to Agatha and got the frequency to her radio station as well as the Blackhawk .44 scoped Magnum.
Decided to finish off the wasteland survival guide. Visited the Arlington library, sold all my books to the scribe, and downloaded the archive. Despite my complete lack of assistance, no brotherhood members died so I didn't get to pilfer any armor. returned to Moira and took the final quest to visit the robco factory. Installed the new widget and reprogrammed the robots into roachhunters. returned to Moira with the good news. I'm now a Survival Guru and the book is done.
Took a trip to Oasis and met Harold/Bob/Herbert. Though I'm completely evil, I couldn't bring myself to kill him and instead applied the liniment to his heart which increased the growth rate of Oasis' trees. For my troubles, got a bear charm, an outcast armor, and a hood. For the heck of it, reverse-pickpocketed myself a druid's robe as well.

R-Picking FTW. Nothing says 'pwned' like slipping an armed explosive into someone's pocket.

No argument there. though in this case I meant simply slipping them raider armor so that they'll equip that instead of their normal clothes, which I can then steal.

The wife and I best Secret of Mana last night.

We weren't nearly leveled up enough in any regard...but it didn't matter. Neat!

We've tried like 3 times in the past 5 years to beat it. Each time the SNES cartridge kept erasing for no reason.

Virtual Console came through though. Yey.

(We named the boy Barrack, the girl Hillary, and the sprite John...Oh no, John's leaving us forever! That's right Hillary, his ass is going back to the senate)

Fallout 3
After leaving Oasis, I headed westward to Fort Independance. On the way, stopped by the SatCom facility and cleared out a raider infestation.
Investigated Fort Independence. Despite the high quantity of robots, I survived, found a bobblehead (I think it was in there), and found the T-15b power armor for my trouble. Neat.

Between the brotherhood armor, outcast armor, Linden's outcast armor, the prototype medical armor, and the T-15b armor, I've got a pretty hefty stash. In hindsight, I should've skipped Linden's armor and taken the Barkskin perk. Oh well. Live and learn. I wonder if it's not too late to go back and kill harold. :-?

Maybe the battery inside is dying. :???: I hate losing saved game data. My NES Open Tournament Golf data kept erasing. That was annoying as hell. It's okay now that I've cleaned the cart and the system.

Drift City [PC]:
Working on unlocking the Mercedes racing car (play 3,000 races). Also working on unlocking the Viper (play 1,500 races) to trade it to a friend. Cleared the 1,337 races mark. Hurray for me.

Went back to this after seeing Zero Punctuation's positive review of it. (If Yahtzee gives you a good review, by God you must have done something right)

Allow me to describe Chapter 1, Level 5, or, better yet, my exact thoughts:

"Okay, big open area. Better look for ammo--HOLY HELL that is a big-ass boss!" And it really was. Must have dwarfed anything from God of War.

Went through an awesome Opera House, and currently working on going through an Insane Asylum.

So far I'm in for about 3 levels. Tiny eddie, Jude the dude, and Baron Von Twirlkiller have all bit the dust in very, very, VERY gruesome ways. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
