Made it through several more areas, including a military rocket base, an oil refinery, and a million other nice looking places infested with demons. Also I killed a monster made from a swamp (Or was it a swamp made from a monster?) an a giant monster that had more then a few references to Thor.
Also I have a gun that shoots both shurikens and lightning.

You know, now that I think about it, doing something like that for an entire site would be a pretty cool idea. Kind of like the Onion except the stories are on pop culture.

Really missing the older stages of the beta. Prices, time limits on items, and certain abilities becoming items now is just annoying.
And the Matchmaking is plain BS. It works as an 'I want to join a game, ANY game, NOW' sort of thing, but it makes playing with friends damn near impossible. I can't wait until they put in a standard list of rooms and servers like every other PC game.
Whoops, I wasn't supposed to talk about that game...

Cleared the first area of AsianTown and defeated RinRin. I apparently suck at the MoneyShot minigame because I didn't get a single point off of it.
Fallout 3
More exploring. found 2 more bobbleheads bringing me up to 15 so far. I cleared out Evergreen mills by releasing their captured Super Mutant Behemoth. Havoc ensued. Then headed underground to the Raider's Bazaar. Havoc Ensued.
I got lost on my way to Arlington and, in a sheer stroke of luck, found an underground metro area that had the Burnmaster flamer and tons of ammo. Neat.

Fallout 3
More exploring. Happened accross bobblehead #16.
after 41 hours of gameteime, finally decided to move the story forward and visit Dr. Li in Rivet City to ask her if she's seen my dad.
After visiting Li, went to the Jefferson memorial and tracked Dad's holotapes which led me to VAult 112 and the Tranquility Lane simulator. In the simulator, decided to play along with Betty's demands and performed the following:
- made Timmy cry by telling him his parents were divorcing and it was his fault.
- Broker up the Rockwells' marriage by convincing Mrs. Rockwell that Mr. Rockwell was a transvestite.
- Killed Mabel Henderson with a gas leak in the stove.
- Donned the pint-sized slasher costume and killed everyone else.
Betty was pleased and let me and Dad leave the simulation.Returned to Rivet city to get Dr. Li's aid in reviving Project Purity. From there it was back to the memorial to boot up the project's system. Had a heart-to-heart with Dad where I bragged about blowing up Megaton. He wasn't thrilled.
while reviving the project, the Enclave made a surprise appearance. I made short work of the enclave soldiers with my level 20 skills and unique weapons but still couldn't save Dad when he sacrificed himself to help us escape.
During the escape, Dr. Li told me Diego was injured and couldn't continue without help. I solved the problem by curing nailing Diego's head to the wall with a Railway rifle. Problem solved, but Dr. Li wasn't too thrilled.
We escaped (and I got to collect lots of Enclave armor on the way) and arrived at the Citadel. While there, I learned to use power armor finally.
In hindsight, I should've pushed the story forward to this point before exploring because it means I would've actually got some use out of the many armors I've got in storage. Currently I've got Power Armor, Brotherhood Power Armor, Prototype Medic Armor, Outcast Armor, Linden's outcast Armor, Enclave Armor, tesla armor, and the T-15b armor all in storage gathering dust. Sigh. Maybe next time.

Or should I say Super Luigi Galaxy?
37 stars down, 83 to go. Luigi is a bit harder to play as, since he slides around a lot more, which cost me a lot of lives before I got used to it. Though his jump is higher, so that's a benefit, except in some parts where a higher jump is a bad thing.

Held back on story progression for some more exploring. Tracked down the last of the Keller Transcripts to get access to the National Guard Depot. Then explored the Depot, earning another bobblehead and the experimental MIRV launcher.
Word to the wise, never fire the MIRV indoors... especially not in the Rivet City marketplace.

63 Stars down as Luigi. Past his half-way point. The end is so close...I can't say I can see it given that I'm just barely past the half-way point. I should have saved that metaphor for later.

It's hard making the jump from RE4 to RE1, but I'm getting used to it.
Met up with Rebecca, who looks/sounds like she could use a hug. A big, long hug. Naturally, she disappeared when I went into the room where we was for the second time... Found the armour and sword keys, the broken shotgun, the lighter, and have been stockpiling clips and shells. Also found the Wind and Sun discs. If LucasArts' oldschool adventure games have taught me anything, I'll have to use these discs to get into Atlantis. I should probably look for some orichalcum before I go any further...

These quotes seem related somehow...
Stubbs the Zombie:
I had started saying "Okay, it's getting late, so I'll just play for an hour." I had saved and exited, two hours later, saying "Huh. Who knew brains could be so tasty?"
Currently wreaking havoc in the Police Station. There's one particular part, in a big lobby with a decent number of cops. But by that point, you've already infected a decent following. So of course, you could easily find a cozy spot out of the way and watch as the police try in vain to battle your army of the Undead.
I think I'm starting to realize why my therapist won't return my calls.
I'm having trouble when playing as the possessed cop; by the time I realized "Hey, what if I used cover?" my health was down to the point where one bullet would do me in. And that's no good in a firefight!

Hmm. That would make sense. I guess if it was a kitchen rather than a room with a bed, she would have stayed the hell put. And made me pie.

Albert Wesker? A villain? I could not see that happening!
Stubbs the Zombie:
Cleared the police station, and noticed that my reputation seem to precede me; outbreaks are occurring without me, meaning all of those guys I infected really did their jobs well.
Tore through Punchbowl Mall, and then Otis Monday's farm. I missed the "Patton" cutscene because I assumed it would happen by itself, rather than me needing to go out of my way to trigger it. Silly me. Maybe I'll play through again to get it next time. Found out that Otis Monday is the reason Stubbs is a Zombie, and, in fact, everything that happened so far is indirectly his fault.
Went to the Punchbowl Dam. ("Where out motto is 'Dam it'") Took a much needed restroom break...in the water supply for the town. Broke open the dam, thus causing massive damage to the town, as well as spreading the infected water.
Currently working through the Zombie Apocalypse...by making it worse.

GAME.OVER!
Mild exploring. Headed to the Yao Guai tunnels and Deathclaw sanctuary to get the last 2 bobbleheads. HOORAY! FULL SET!
With the end now in sight, I pulled my biggest guns out of storage and met with the Enclave to stage the raid on Project Purity. With Liberty Prime in the lead and me backing up with my MIRV launcher, the enclave didn't know what hit them. Let Colonel Autumn go and used the power of quicksave to view all available endings from the project's control room.
Even after playing the hell out of this game (twice!), I have no complaints. Even paying $70 for the bonus collector's package, I still feel this game was well worth my money. But now that I've done probably 95% of everything there was to do in the game, I'm done with it for now. Time to focus on Madworld and the Prince of Persia sands of time trilogy.

Well, after years and years of playing through the original MGS2 on my PS2 (to the point where I have the game practically memorized), I found MGS2 Substance at a rental store and decided to pick it up for the weekend. Unfortunately, it isn't what I expected it to be.
I was mostly looking forward to finally playing as Solid Snake through Substance's bonus stages at the Big Shell. However, I was under the impression that these bonus stage's involved Solid Snake as Pliskin and the dual story of what he was doing in the Big Shell while Raiden was running around freezing bombs and fighting Fatman. It would have been nice to play those missions rather than stopping drug shipments, rescuing Emma, and other things that have nothing to do with the original story.
Oh well.

Finished off AsianTown by killing Yokozuna in the sumo arena... a very spiky, electrified, cannon-surrounded arena. Messy, but with a very flashy ending.
After leaving Asiantown, it was onto the classic castle style level. instead of grunts or goons, the enemies were zombies. Long story short, these guys don't stay down unless they're shredded or sliced vertically. the bloodbath challenge this time involved a Mario Golf-esque ring challenge, only with my opponents heads.
