after the time needed to install (and my many complaints about having to sign in to an online service to play a game locally :-x ), only had about a half hour to play the game. Unfortunately, that doesn't do much for you. Made it to the Teleporter fiasco and received a crowbar.

And yet you're only a few minutes in.

Had some more time to play but it's been one long chase scene since the teleporter accidental. Currently nearing the end of the Water Hazard "level"

You'd be surprised how viciously long the chapters can be. By the way, see you in Ravelholm...God, I hate Ravenholm.

Half-Life: Opposing Force:
Man, you'd be shocked at how many places from HL1 you revisit, and how many of those places were unreachable before. Several of these places are from the Tram Ride.

Currently in the Offices.

71%. Reached Shoreside.

This game is effing amazing.
Got the point in the mansion where a star spawns, about 5 minutes after the tutorial. Didn't have time to play much. I love this game. If only there was a PC version so I didn't have to go to my buddy's place to play it!

Resident Evil 4 [PC]:
At the lake, ready to take out Del Lago. I have enough for the 'Writer, so I'll pick it up before I waste El Gigante.

Didn't accomplish too much sadly. went to go test out Moira's mole rat repellent but then got lost underground fighting raiders and ghouls. That took about an hour to find my way out.
The repellent didn't work, BTW.

Went back to the DC area and gained some XP fighting super mutants. Met the brotherhood of steel but they didn't seem to intertested in talking to me at this point.

Picked up a new radio signal. I'm supposed to go meet a guy named Reily. unfortunately, this means I'm going back underground. NOOOOOO!

Really? It worked like a charm for me. All the molerats went down in one or two whacks, which is a helluva lot less than if I shot them.

I should've put a smily face there. And for the record, I don't consider a magic head exploder as a repellant. It makes me more likely to go look for the rats in the first place.

Resident Evil 4 [PC]:
Mouse Aim patch + Chicago Typewriter = MEGARAEP.

Took out Del Lago with ease (well, after 'fishing' the first time, he jumped out of the lake and OM NOM'd me). Got the thing from the waterfall. Bought the 'Writer and took down El Gigante in about a minute.

Rescued Ashley (her Special costume is win, if only her face didn't look so jailbaity), met up with Luis at the cabin and laid the smack down on some villagers, Chicago-style. Went to the path on the left, took out the chainsaw sisters, saved, went to the path on the right, owned the El Gigante, and then my game crashed when I went to talk to the merchant.

Team Fortress 2:
Got the Backburner (Does 100% critical damage on ll opponents facing away from me, at the cost of the projectile-repelling Compression Blast) and Flare (Shoots flares, and burns people) for the Pryo. For the Heavy, I got the Sandvich (A tasty sandwich, cures 120 health as the cost of leaving the Heavy totally immobile for a few seconds), and for the Medic, I got the Blutsauger. (A hypodermic needle launcher that heals me as it damages the enemy, at the cost of no critical hit)

Worked my way through Ravenholm, all he while chasing after Father Grigori. He showed me the way out, though it meant facing a pitch black mine filled with headcrabs. Made it through and finally saw daylight again. Too bad daylight in the city means the snipers have good views too. Still, made it to the next rebel base and got myself a swell new car to drive down the coast... during the antlion spawning season. Oy...

Don't worry. Your opinion of antlions will change soon enough.

Half-Life: Blue Shift:

Got all three of the Pyro Milestones, getting me the Axetinguisher, a barbed-wire-covered axe that does surprisingly less damage than the Pyro's normal axe, but does Critical damage to anyone on fire. Very useful if you have fast weapon switch on, allowing you to hit them with the flamethrower, then quickly switch to Axetinguisher to finish them off.

Drove through antlion country, crossing a few bridges, playing chicken with a train, and generally wreaking havoc on any combine I see. Made it to the lighthouse outpost and ditched the car just in time to fight off more combine troops and an airship. The car got stolen in the melee but I escaped via a cliffside passage.

Portal
Decided to finally give this game a shot. I don't know what it is but this really is a fun game. Something about glaDOS dead-pan monotone yet highly inflected voice just makes me chuckle, the room 16 drones even more so. Found a secret room outside the test chamber with the ominous message, "The cake is a lie!"

3 days later, so no flak for repeat posting.

Half-life 2
from the cliffside passage, found my way to the sand trap area. Unlike before, I didn't have my trusty dune buggy to run over antlions so now I had to be more careful. Luckily there were plenty of corpses on hand to provide me with ammo. Reached a major nest and an Antlion guard which I put down. For my trouble, I was given a sample of bugbait and was sent on my way.
With the antlions now under my control, worked my way to Nova Prospekt. Laid waste to the prison but reached a dead-end in the garbage compactor thingy... ran out of time to play so will pick this up later.

Fallout 3
Trekked northward to Arefu to deliver a letter but found the place in ruins after a violent assault by "the family". Made the trip underground to find this family and was expecting a full out brawl. Instead, I found some well behaved vampires who agreed not to go near Arefu again. Delivered my letter to the surviving member of the receiving family after talking him out of leaving "the family".
Next up, chapter 3on the wasteland survival guide. Trekked to Rivet City, getting lost in DC and only barely escaping hordes of super mutants. Reachyed Rivet City in a quest to find its true history... which meant going to a separated area, entering via an underwater entrance, and finding the founder of the town who had been ousted by upstarts. Well, that was simple.

Ooh, the trash compactor was not fun.

Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations:
Defending Ron DeLite from accusations of...wait, he didn't murder anyone? Then what the hell am I doing? Phoenix does homicide cases! And even so, Ron is accused of stealing property of Maya Fey, Phoenix's assistant! And he's admitted to the crimes! Still, a lot of people have Ron pegged as delusional, and that he may not have been the Lupin-the-Third-on-LSD he claims to be, and there's plenty of room for doubt, such as not being at the scene of the crime as it occurred.

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess:
Beat the Snowpeak Ruins, did a bunch of sidequests, netting me the bigger Quiver, double bomb capacity, three out of four bottles, and opening the Malo Mart in Hyrule Town. (A sidequest that was much simpler than I thought it would be)

Now working on the Temple of Time.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition:
Killed Krauser! Yay! Now I'm low on health and ammo...not yay.

Finished my trek through Nova Prospekt and met up with Alyx. We managed to reach a teleporter and save her father. Too bad Dr. Mossman turned out to be a traitor and said father got teleported to an as-yet-undisclosed location. Alyx and I took the first teleporter out and landed in Kleiner's lab. Oddly, a week had passed since we teleported out. Go figure. Now it's me and Dog against the World.

Fallout 3
Finally accomplishing quests. Ran around Rivet city in the quest for the replicated man. Was able to get rewards for both positive and negative outcomes to this by finding the android, getting permission to kill his pursuer, then informing the pursuer of the android's location, getting the reward for that, killing the pursuer, then getting the reward for that from the android.
Made the decision to not destroy Megaton after all. I disarmed the bomb, killed Mr. Burke, and got my own pad in town. I like my new home.
A quick trip to the Roboco factory and I was able to reactive and reprogram the robots (who seemed to still want to attack each other despite my orders). But at least I got the optional quest portion done. I completed the wasteland surival guide mission
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

The rebellion was both awesomely fun, and a total pain in the ass. Watch out for Striders; they will make your life pain.

Total play today: Just shy of six hours.

Beat the Temple of Time, and restored Ilia's memory after a Wild West Showdown. (Really, it would have been awesome if I could ride out of town on Epona, into the sunset) Now I've got to restore the Dominion Rod. Hi-yo Silver, AWAAAAYYY!
