Ran a few sidequests for the blackstones and mages collective. Also hit the 'stone prisoner' side-quest and added the golem Shale as a companion. A living statue with a dry wit and a fear of pigeons, what's not to love?

Decided to start the endgame sequences and had Arl Eamon call the landsmeet. After rescuing the queen from her mad father, got captured and arrested during the escape attempt. Luckily my companions rescued me. Went around Denerim earning support for my candidate (Alistair). Convinced him to not only be king but to marry the current Queen to cement his rule. He's not too thrilled but we all believe in him. Hardened Alistair's personality as well.
The Elven Alienage finally opened up and I was able to complete some remaining missions for the sidequests, earning the 'Easily Sidetracked' achievement (75% of sidequests done)". In the Alienage, found 2 problems. Firstly, a plague has spread and a group of healers from Tevinter are supposedly healing them, though no one's seen anyone come back yet. Infiltrated the hospice and found people in cages and clues that lead to a room in an apartment.
While in the alienage, met a blind Templar who is sure there's a cabal of blood mages around. found some clues that led to an orphanage. Inside, finding ghosts and rabid dogs but no mages. Still working on it.
Update:
REached the source of the hauntings. Lost Ser Otto but at least the problem is taken care. Went back to the apartments and found a Tevinter slaver. Muscled my way past his guard and tried to make a deal with him, but he refused to free his slaves. Defeated him, freed the slaves, stole his money, and booted him out of the country.
Took Shale back to ORzammar to try and recover his memories. In the Deep Roads, he recalled a lost Thaig and led me there. From there, we found a lot of Darkspawn but also a Golem registry. Shale remembered his true name, home, and... gender? Shale's a woman?

Returned to Denerim and the Landsmeet was called. Loghain made his case but my do-gooding brought a lot of people to my side and showed him as a power-hungry madman. 5 of the 6 Bann's sided with me.
When it all came down to it, it was a one-on-one battle with him and myself. I won, making Alistair the king. Loghain surrendered, finally seeing that my side was strong enough to take on the blight.
He still had to pay for his crimes. I attempted to keep him alive but risked Losing Alistair in the process. Loghain accepted his fate and I took him out. I also arbitrated the final dispute by having Alistair and Anora agree to marry to rule jointly. They're not too thrilled, but I think They'll do fine. Time to make the final move against the Blight.
