GAME.OVER!
OR IS IT...? dun dun duuunnn...
Short version is that I played through to the singularity device, went back in time, blew it up, and found that didn't change a thing. Knowing this game had multiple endings, I first killed both Barisov and Demechev, then just demechev and my past self. Short version, there's no ending that restores history, which seems odd. Oh well, had fun and now I'm done. Now waiting for Darksiders to arrive.

I beat it!!! IDK what people keep complaining about, I enjoyed this game A LOT more than Origins. The only problems was the lack of areas to explore, but I don't really care about that. As long as the gameplay doesn't suck and the ending is epic as well as some parts in the middle, I'm happy. This one was more shocking than Origins. I really didn't expect your mom to die. Especially... in such a weird way. IDK if you could have saved her, but I didn't. It had a lot of twists and stuff, some you saw coming but others, not so much.
And the ending...mother fudge. That ending was freaking awesome!!! IDK if it's supposed to change, but for me; the ending made me want DA3 more than Origins made me want DA2! I can't wait to see where they go next with this! It was almost as impressive as Mass Effect 2's ending. Close, but no. The ending isn't as super epic as it is surprising...if you've played Origins. If not, you won't know what the hell is going on. But that's all I need. I really can't wait to see what happens next, I'm gonna explode!!!
Awesome game! I was going to give it 7 out of 10, but the ending made me want DA3, so I give it 8/10!!! IT WAS AWESOME! It kicked ASS!!!

With Darksiders taking longer than expected to arrive, AC:B has moved up a step on my to-play list. Started the game where ACII left off. Escaped Rome and returned to the Villa. Spent a night reuniting vigorously with an old friend, but the morning came and ruined the moment by showering me in sunlight... oh, and cannonballs.
Return to present, Desmond and crew arrive in the villa 400 years later and decide to set up shop in the sanctuary, but only after traversing sewers. Yummy.
Returned to the past and started a new life in Rome. MEt with Machiavelli, killed an executioner (irony!), and set fire to a tower. Then relaxed by renovating some stables.

Ok, I know it's not really my progress but I'm pissed off and don't want to make a new thread entirely because of this. In a way it is game progress.
What the hell!? They moved the ME 3 release date to early 2012, are you freaking serious? It was the only thing I was looking forward to (besides DOTM) all damn year and now it's gone. Another year wasted on bull crap. I quit.

Hang on, I'll just go get my tiny violin so you can cry more. Hey, Shadowman, how long've we been waiting for Duke Nukem Forever?
Let them take the time to do it right, otherwise you'd in this thread complaining about bugs and stuff.

I don't care about bugs. Fallout New Vegas crashes every 20 minutes, and I still love that game.

Ok, I do care. But I'm more interested in seeing how the ending of this great trilogy will play out with all my choices!!!

Well, let's see, announced in '97, coming out next month most likely. So, 14 years. Also about ten years for Team Fortress 2. And 12 years between StarCraft: Brood War and Starcraft II, and the second campaign mode for that isn't due out until 2012. And we're still waiting on Half-Life 2: Episode 3.
But Mass Effect 2 was only released last year. If ME3 is coming out next year, that gives it a two-year development cycle, which is actually a pretty average time. It was a three-year wait between ME1 and ME2.

Truth distilled. I'm certainly not complaining. Look at KotOR 2 or War for Cybertron, two games that were good, but could have been so much better if they'd been given more time in development. So I'd rather they take longer to make sure it's done right, instead of delivering something either okay-not-great or average-at-best.

Minecraft
Was in the process of moving my stored materials now that I've finished my current project (pictures coming soon) when the game crashed on me. Grr... Reloaded to find that my items had been successfully moved. Went back to find my project back at 99% finished (grr...), but that also meant my transferred items still existed there. Short story, Duplicated 2 chests worth of items. Chunk failure in my favor.

Man, lucky you! Whenever I encounter glitches like that, I often end up losing at least 3 Diamonds and a crapload of items.

Big-ass new update! The Replay Update! New hats, new achievements, new hats, and a feature that sounds a lot like saved film from Halo 3, but I'm cool with that. It doesn't work on Listen Servers, though, so my idea for a film (A Demoman sticky jumping and failing, all in slow-mo and set to the song from Chariots of Fire (THIS IDEA COPYRIGHT SHADOWMAN PRODUCTION INDUSTRIES)) will have to wait for now.
Or I'll just have to look into setting up a dedicated server.

Supaplex
Yep, I'm playing the Boulderdash clone, about a red Pac-Man look-a-like inside a computer
Right, now to the levels I've beaten:
001: Warm Up
002: Exit!
003: Stone Age
004: Collector
005: Easy Deal
006: Down They Fall!
007: Go Through!
008: Get Those Too!!
010: Easy Come, Easy Go!
011: Run For Life!
012: Ignore Them
013: Anonymous
014: Fall Out!
015: One Thing...
I skipped 009: Bug Funny, due to the fact most, if not all of the green circuit-like tiles that you eat away (called "Bases") can turn "Buggy" (hence the name of the level) and thus, lethal. You could get killed any time you move!
Level 016: Just Do It! requires you to lure and kill Snik-Snaks (scissor-like enemies) to blast away walls leading to Infotrons you need to collect. Easier said than done!
btw Anybody a game music expert here? If so, could anybody direct me to the music of the last level of the PC version of Zool 2, called "Mental Blockage"? The Amiga version uses another level's music, I hate it when games do that!

A .wav file that's 2:19 long and 23.3 MB big
Now to find a proper converter to MP3... There's light at the end of that tunnel yet.
As for games:
Supaplex
Decided to skip 016: Just Do It!, and tried 017: Boom!, which had the same principle: killing scissors to break walls. *sigh* I may use my last skip for this.
I feel so cheap now...

Alright, so the server's back up, now on a different friend's computer. The world has changed a lot since I last played. We now have an electrified train system. Sweet.
Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition [PC]:
I want to finish Duke 3D and Duke Manhattan before Duke Forever comes out. It's still weird that that actually means something today. Started Episode 3, cleared the flood zone, the bank, the movie set, the fire station and radio station, and probably other levels I've forgotten about.
Oh yeah, Duke Forever's up for pre-purchase on Steam for 10%, if for some reason you haven't preordered the Balls of Steel Edition.
Global Agenda: Free Agent [PC]:
I'm really getting a Tribes vibe from this, so it's a good thing that the guys who made it are working on the new Tribes game.
Made 1 character of each class to try to get a feel for the different classes. Levelling them up evenly, pretty much.

Two protips here, one with instant gratification, both with long-term benefits.
1. The Rich Achievement. Complete a side-quest for Dr. Michel (The doctor lady who you saved when you met Garrus) and she'll give you a discount on items. Some bug causes this to also make her buy items from you at an increased price. So, sell your most expensive stuff to her, then go to a shop somewhere else on the Citidel and use the "Buyback" option to buy back the last ten or so items at less than what you sold them for. Lather, rinse, occasionally buy more expensive items to throw into the mix, and repeat, until you get the 1,000,000 credits for the achievement. Boring and tedious, but it unlocks the second-nicest weapon set in the game (Which, with your million credits, you can buy the whole set) with the absolute best unlocked at level 50. Also, it'll give you a lovely jump-start on credits and resources in ME2.
2. Any time you kill an enemy while in the Mako, it cuts experience gains in half. Impossible to get to the level cap and subsequent bonuses in ME2 with it. So either get out and finish your enemies off manually, or edit a bit of game code to just leave out the experience cut.
