Has anyone played Elder Scrolls Oblivion? Because I really want to. It's one of those games I become obsessed with until I get it like: Bulletstorm, Resistance 2, Dragon Age 2, Transformers War for Cybertron, and Mass Effect 1 and 2. None of which where as good as I had anticipated (Except Mass Effect of course), but does anyone have anything to say about it? It's like Fallout: Dragon Age edition.
Well, now that you mention it...
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion:
Finished up the Mages Guild questline, working on the Knights of the Nine questline now.
The world is bigger than San Andreas and ten times as pretty; character faces are horrible, and there's only a dozen or so voice actors because Patrick Stewart (Who is in the game for less than ten minutes) Terrance Stamp and Sean Bean ate up the casting budget. There's a bajillion quests; you can go a very, very long time without having to touch the main quest line. it does NOT play like a standard RPG, you level up by increasing the major skills for whatever class you pick, and you level those skills up by using them. (Hitting something with a sword, getting hit, etc.) Really awesome game, though.
Golden Sun: The Lost Age:
Done putting this game off. Finally get Piers onto my party, and got back his fancy-pants orb. met Menardi's sister Karst, who, since I (As Isaac) killed Menardi in the last game, is now out for Isaac's (No longer controlled by me) blood. Hm. Next stop, a boat. For the record, I have all the Djinn I can get so far.
In other news, Duke Nukem Forever has gone gold. That crazy old dude was off by a couple weeks; the End Times are coming June 14th.
