Well, CRAP. He's a crafty one, eh?
APB Reloaded (Open Beta) [PC]:Got my main character, AgentScarlett, to Ranking 26 or 27. Finished the missions for Wil and Violet. At respect level 2 with Miri and level 7 with Ty. Managed to win 2 missions last night solo. Did not see that one coming.
I have to remake the tank top for my Mirror's-Edge-inspired characters, FaithConnors, because I messed up the stripes on one side. I think I'll make some duplicates of Scarlett's camo pants and G.I. Joe logo shirt and sell them on the marketplace. I'm surprised people bought my Arashikage Clan emblem and the BattleTech Wolf Clan logos I made.
Duke Nukem Forever Demo [PC]:You know what I've got:

Tired of the unacceptably-small console-style FOV that plagues the Duke Forever Demo, Borderlands, RE5, and other titles? Check out
Flawless Widescreen and get that crap fixed. I haven't tried it with Borderlands since I fixed the FOV manually by modifying a .ini file and adding hold-aiming in the process, but I used the Duke Forever fix.
Want to have some fun with the demo? Start a new demo and when you're in the stadium's bathroom, type DNCLIP to enable the ghost mode. Not sure if other oldschool cheats work. DNKROZ, DNCORNHOLIO, & DNCASHMAN gave no on-screen confirmation. Anyway, with DNCLIP on, you can explore the world and see stuff you're not able to otherwise.
I took a bunch of screenshots, if you're interested. With DNCLIP on, move with the movement controls and mouse, and go up/down with the jump/crouch buttons. I don't think toggle-crouch works in DNCLIP mode. The Stadium has a large statue at its entrance and there are actually two Cycloid Emperors in the level: the one you fight, and another one that you see during the scripted event, which disappears after it blows up the hallway tunnel.
Most interesting? Duke's penthouse seen at the end of the flashback boss fight? It's an explorable area in the demo. Not just the one room you see, but the full penthouse, with fancy washroom (you can admire Duke in the mirror, "Damn, I'm lookin' good!"), multiple TVs and fireplaces, a bar, a hall with Duke's photos seen at the website's Halls of Humility (and the postcards in the Balls of Steel Edition), an interactive pool table, a golden elevator, and light switches. You can play pool and the twins will react if you shut off the lights.
Furthermore, there is a window which overlooks Dukified Vegas (there are towers named after the Duke3D submarine and Duke's first villain from 1991) and the alien mothership.
To get to the penthouse, start a new demo and the from the bathroom where you spawn, type DNCLIP and look down. Now, go down. Through the floor. Straight down, and keep going down for about five minutes. You'll see the building slowly get bigger. You'll be directly above Duke's building. When you get into the penthouse and want to walk around, type DNCLIP again and go wild. But whatever you do, DO NOT press your Use key when in the elevator. Especially not before you've had time to explore the penthouse. Have fun!
And if you're playing on a console, feel bad that your overdone Gears of Halo of Duty conventions have found their way into Duke Forever and prevent it from feeling as oldschool as it should, turning Duke into one of the [w]ussies he makes fun of in the first place.
