Except for, you know, that being entirely false if you actually put effort into the game. Depending on the ending Joker and EDI, at least, are shown to be just fine, and they were placed in the same situation as the rest of the Normandy, so there's no reason to assume everyone else is dead. Except Shepard and, again, depending on the ending, that's only a maybe.

Star Wars: The Old Republic:
Just while I was thinking of getting back into this, Bioware gives me a free week to celebrate the Version 1.2 Patch. Which has been pretty pimp so far. (I can recolor equipment so I don't always look like a gaudy nightmare!)

Mostly playing as my Inquisitor (AKA, That Sadistic Bitch) on Alderaan. (Which, according to someone on my Steam friends list, was terraformed by the Empire and then destroyed by the Republic. Don't worry, I banned him from Star Wars discussion, especially after he claimed he doesn't care about the movies, and I mean he doesn't care about the original trilogy) Slaughtered my way though a group of assassins, got a Jedi's phone number, then killed him in cold blood for a key he had that I wanted.

Next up...a Jedi Enclave...hoo boy...

Edi only survives if you pick the "synthesis" ending and I refuse to chose that or "control". And they're all stranded on a random island planet where they will starve to death. Plus all the people and races you left stranded on earth after the relays explode. And in the Arrival DLC, when a relay explodes, it destroys an entire system. Bioware came out and said that this time, they didn't destroy the systems, but how where we supposed to know that? And in all my playthroughs Garrus and Tali are always the ones who walk out alive, but they're still stranded on a planet with no civilization. That and the "Starchild's" logic was flawed.

She appears in all three endings, even Destroy if you did things right.

SlyTF1 wrote:And they're all stranded on a random island planet where they will starve to death.

basic survival skills would ensure that no, they do not.

SlyTF1 wrote:Plus all the people and races you left stranded on earth after the relays explode.

What does that even mean? The Turians can't go back to Palaven, so they just drop dead? That's not actually how things work.

SlyTF1 wrote:And in the Arrival DLC, when a relay explodes, it destroys an entire system. Bioware came out and said that this time, they didn't destroy the systems, but how where we supposed to know that?

Considering there's an epilogue showing that the human race lived on, I'm going to say that yeah, the Crucible didn't destroy the Relays the same way smashing an asteroid into it did.

SlyTF1 wrote:And in all my playthroughs Garrus and Tali are always the ones who walk out alive, but they're still stranded on a planet with no civilization.

Earth was a planet with no civilization. Hell, there's tons of places on Earth with no civilization right now. They're still perfectly habitable.

SlyTF1 wrote:That and the "Starchild's" logic was flawed.

Is this about the Reapers? The idea is that eventually, a species would create synthetic life that would end up destroying all organic life. The Reapers were designed to prevent that by harvesting the most advanced species before they can do that, but allowing lesser lifeforms to develop and grow.

Geez, fellas, just PM each other.

Burnout Paradise [360]:
Started a new game as the DeLorean. Got about 50 gates, 10 billboards and my D-Class license.

Crash Course [360]:
Finished the Europe levels and got all of the Achievements for dicking around on the ropes, trampolines, fans, hammers, and conveyor belts. I now have exactly (but not over) 9000 Meaningless Penis Points.

Oh hell yeah, stats-wise, it's a beast. But, as an oldschool Knight Rider fan, MAN, did they miss the mark. Should've been a modified black P12, but that would have been redundant with the 88, I guess. The whole Legendary pack is highly swing-and-miss.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim:
As my Dunmer Lady, I decided to take a break from the College Questline (Read as: Labyrinthian is a bitch) to do the Thieves Guild Questline. Bad news? By leaving off on the Staff of Magnus quest, it rendered a part of the Thieves Guild quest temporarily unbeatable. I had to beat the Mages Guild questline in order to move forward.

Phooey.

Did Sanguine's Quest for the Sanguine Rose, and enough of Clavicus Vile's quest to have Barbas as a follower. Finished up the College Questline without too much hassle.

HHHNGNHG! That would have been fantastic. I'd have dug that for sure.

Red Dead Redemption [360]:
There will never be a PC version of this. Plus it was on sale.

Started a new game. Got shot. Rescued by Bonnie, who, unfortunately, is not as delicious in-game as her character artwork on the back of the map lead me to believe. Did the first job for her, shooting coyotes and whatnot. Didn't see any rustlers, who've really seemed to rustle her jimmies more than anything else.

Geez, I sure hope I don't have to fight gorillas any time soon.

Also got my Social Club Gentlemen costume, which really doesn't look that good in game, and neither does the male version of the "reward" costume for those borderline-useless-unless-you-play-one-of-the-few-games-that-support-them-and-are-actually-worthwhile dashboard characters.

Really? You're going with the Snidely Whiplash method? Out of the millions of ways you can kill someone in the Old West, you go with the most clichéd method there is.

I am disappoint, son.

Star Wars: The Old Republic:
Took time off from my sexy sadistic Sith Sorcerer, (Which is an advanced class of Inquisitor but that doesn't add to alliteration) to play as my non-sexy Jedi Knight, as voiced by Solid Snake. Working on Taris, chasing down an Imperial Intelligence agent. Also did a group mission where our "healer" admitted he is a terrible healer after he let us all die.

Brother, the entire Old West is a cliché. And the Beast was referring to the Dastardly achievement you get for doing that.

I admit it. I want a PC version of REd Dead. The last Rockstar game on my PC was GTA4, and that left a sour taste in my mouth. So preferred San Andreas.

Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Cleared the sand castle, earning the sand wand. A mcGuffin tool that will never be used again. This also earned me the Light bow. After returning to my train, was gifted with the free McGuffin of an all-powerful sword. Might have been nice to have it earlier, but oh well.
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

I want it, too, but it won't happen, and after seeing how badly they ported GTA IV, maybe that's a good thing.

There is alot more to this game that you won't discover if you just roam from boss to boss. I found the secret garden. And I am telling you. Whatever you do, do NOT eat the fruit up there! DO NOT DO IT!

I also found the spot were you can ride the giant hawk. Pointless, but really fun.

STILL looking for pieces of the truth! These things are either REALLY well hidden, or I'm just discoordinated beyond belief. To be fair, I havn't really been playing it all that much. I have been recently though, and I found a piece of truth on a castle wall, so my interest got revamped a bit.

Decided to stop screwing around with side-quests and get the story going. Basically, crap hit the fan, smothered it, and made it rain from the sky in the form of Mechon invaders.

Got the Monado, though. Time to kick ass.

Star Wars: Dark Forces [PC]:
Hijacked a smuggler ship, passed through the Super Star Destroyer Executor on my way to the Arc Hammer, where the Dark Troopers are being built and deployed from. Going to kark it the kriff up and get the hell outta there in a stolen shuttle before they realize what happened. How will I do that without getting dead? Because Kyle Katarn, that's why.

keep me posted. Once I finish Skyrim in about 2 years, I'll need a new timesink. :-B

Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Returned to the spirit tower for 3 previously unseen floors. After some devilish puzzles (one of which was needlessly obtuse and a complete guessing game because I entered the wrong door first, got the compass of light. This pointed me to a highly visible gateway to darkness (okay, why did I need the compass again?). In the dark realm, exacted revenge against some armor trains. Just got dropped onto a track following the demon train.

Playing through God Hand, like, the fourth freakin time! you would think id'e be bored already, but NOPE!

Also, am forced to replay Scott Pilgrim the game. No complaints! Just beat the Nega Scott, fully leveled up Scott, and am on my way to face off against Gideon. JOY

Interesting sidenote:
Scott Pilgrim VS Gene, who wins?

GAME.OVER.
Took down the demon train, then 2 forms of Malladus. Zelda returned to her body and dutifully ignored our hero, who dies in solitude only to be later resurrected and forced to relive the same events, every 2 year or so. :saint:

Game was alright. I had trouble getting into it though
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

I have a new life motto: "Not tonight, ladies, I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles." Bracing for many glorious years of virginity.

Decided to stop screwing around with side-quests and get the story going. Basically, crap hit the fan, smothered it, and made it rain from the sky in the form of Mechon invaders.

Got the Monado, though. Time to kick ass.

keep me posted. Once I finish Skyrim in about 2 years, I'll need a new timesink. :-B

Crap is amazing. Check it out.

Halo 3: ODST [360]:
Still think they should've used the name "Recon."
Got the first piece of the mystery. In Buck's first level right now, at the big-ass arena where you take it from all sides by a buttload of enemies and then a pair of Hunters flip you over and go in for seconds. Not having such a great time so far, and without a Frag FX or an Aimon, playing is a smegging chore.
