But something I wanted to bring up is, at the same wal-mart, they had the first wave of the new generation deluxes, Megatron, Bumblebee and Trailbreaker (no Orion Pax's to be found) and I was going to buy them but they didn't have the comics!
Are the comics an exclusive or limited run sort of deal? All three figures just had a plain board with Orion Pax box art on it.

Only the US versions have the comics included. What you saw were probably Canadian releases, but don't quote me on that. Canada did that once before with the Universe 2008 line: Same box art for all figures in a wave (usually the headliner of that wave, the first has Sunstreaker). The bios were printed on the Instructions.

Dang... you actually made those figures look GOOD. I have Ratchet, hate the damn thing, but it's cool to have a Ratchet on the Classics shelf.
I myself got Mirage, Dirge, and Drag Strip recently, really like bulking up the Decepticons a bit.

Ordered them online so I could get the comics. Haven't read them yet so I hope it was worth it

Bought all of these apart from Bumblebee, really disappointed with all of them, so much so I sold them , too small, too hollow, must do better Hasbro!

I they don't feel that hollow but I do own FOC combaticons so that bar has been set very low
I knew they were going to be small before I bought them and I'm okay with this dip in figure sizes, they'll get back to normal soon enough
