Just saw the figure at retail and cant decide if I want to pick it up or not. To anyone who owns it, is it worth the price (15.99 at Walmart ouch)?

I dig the figure, hes short but i like him. he's also 10.99 i believe at bigbadtoystore.com along with focJazz at the same price

i like him. but 16 bucks for him is a bit much. i got the first wave off of bbts so get him from there if he is cheaper. i think he is kinda worth it.

I'm sure you've read all of the prior complaints about the figure. The plastic does feel lighter/thinner than other deluxes. However, he feels sturdy enough to me, but it is somewhat lighter. My only real complaint is the size.

However, I really do like the figure and would recommend him. His design is exactly like the game and that's a big plus for me. The paint apps are very nice and his alt mode looks great too. Overall, I am very pleased that I got him. It would definitely be worth it if you took Zodd's advice and picked him up for a little cheaper online.

Bottom line: In my opinion, if you're a fan of the games/going to play the game, then I think he's worth it.

P.S. I have WFC OP too. Although that version is better, I really like having both incarnations of the video game representations of OP.

$10.99 is a good price but unless you already have a POL brewing, the shipping is going to bring you back into the $15 range. That is if you buy both Jazz and Op. If you buy Op alone, you would be better off buying retail.

It's OK. I don't regret buying it. In robot mode he is simple yet still poseable. For some reason I'm weirdly fond of the truck mode. It's like a cube on wheels, but it looks cool to me. Get it if you have the spare cash and like OPs, but it's not a must have. I hope eventually there will be a Megatron to go with him...

Out of the three in general retail right now, Optimums is mt favorite in just about every way. I recommend him.

Awesome figure, dont give in to the hate. Solidly constructed and has nice articulation and fun yet simple transformation. I personally like the chunky aesthetic :grin:

If you already have WFC OP, skip it and wait for the Ultra Magnus repaint. If you DON'T already have WFC OP, wait until you can get it on sale for $10 or less. Don't bother with BBTS; with shipping, you'll pay just as much as if you bought it at Walmart or TRU.

I picked up the Jazz already(easy pick up IMHO plus wife loves the character ^^). He is good but far from great. Guess Ill just wait for a repaint/price drop or till I feel I really want a new figure. Thanks for the input.
