Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Original theatrical releases of Episodes 4-6 on Blu-Ray.
That's what fans want, we still have his altered versions thrust on us, but for those who grew up and saw the originals in cinemas, they want the originals! I know it's not what he wants but he should show a little respect to those who made him so damn rich and maybe then he'll get the respect he oh so clearly cries for.
On the plus side, a third trilogy without him would be awesome, but they really want to give that live action TV series off the ground.

He did not direct Empire, and look how a majority of the fandom believes that to be the greatest SW movie of all time (I know it is my favorite that is for sure) so him leaving the directing to someone else would be a plus..
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Then maybe he should stop making them, or, as already said, release the original, unaltered versions of the films on Blu-Ray.
At least this means that Clone Wars is likely to be over soon. Anything that puts and end to that train wreck is to be applauded.

He said he's quitting Star Wars. That doesn't mean Star Wars itself is coming to an end.

People have been talking about a theoretical Sequel Trilogy for many, many years now. It was never going to happen. This isn't even the final nail in the coffin, this was a body Lucas buried years ago.
EDIT: It doesn't even say he's done with Star Wars as a whole, just that he's not making any more movies, nor will he re-release his old ones. Stamping his seal of approval on a book, or a script for Clone Wars, or a game, doesn't really count against what he says he's doing here.
