Hi

I used to have a collection some 20 years ago but sold them all off, all I have now is a 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime and a Beast Machines Noble.

I would like to collect some G1 style figures that are mare cartoon design accurate and are not original G1 diaclones designs. I would like them to be in the same size scale, so there sizes match properly like in the cartoon.

I have been looking but the sizes are all over the place and I am not sure on picking the right sizes, also it looks like I wont be able to afford to get name brand stuff even used, KO's seems to be the only things I can afford to get, but I'm not sure which ones are worth getting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That Savage Noble figure is a hard one to get at a good price so congrats on having one. As for cartoon scale and looks you should really focus on the previous trilogy (War for Cybertron: Siege, Earthrise, and Kingdom), the current trilogy (Legacy) and Studio Series 86 as the G1 figures in those lines are meant to be cartoon accurate (mostly) and scaled to bot mode. Aftermarket prices have been pretty bad lately, but keep an eye out for sales and clearance and you can probably pick up a few at good prices new. At the very least use these lines as a guide and if you really must go with KOs check reviews to avoid over and under sized ones.
