While at the office today I was looking at the calls in the que and I saw one for a machine at "GI JOE II"...

Hopefully they have more machines and one that I work on because I would love to see whats up on that set..

I was pleased with the 1 st movie except for Marlon Wayans..Everyone else did a good job..

I loved the first film..good to hear..

Does anyone think we will see classic costumes in the second one..

I highly doubt we'll see classic costumes, and the only returning characters are Duke, Snake Eyes, and Storm Shadow.

Wait? What?? Stormshadow was iced by Snake-Eyes, litterely, at the end of the first movie. Stabbed in the chest and fell into sub-arctic water AND they were HOW many miles beneath the ice when the base began to break up? How the hell are they gonna explain this one?

Also, who else thinks it'd be cool to see a G.I. Joe and Transformers live action crossover movie?

They are going to be filming starting in August and a lot will be at Nasa's Michoud Facility (where they used to build the space shuttle's external fuel tanks)..

I am going to work on one of their machines that went down tomorrow.

Nice! And I also heard that there won't be anyone returning from the first film except Duke and Snake Eyes. This just took a turn into buddy-cop territory...

Yeah,, I have been reading some of the new names and they are horrible. The Rock is going to play Roadblock.
And I had to rebuild a machine for them today in our shop..

Other than The Rock and that hack Channing Tatum, I'm not familiar with the other cast members. Oooh, except for the RZA - I'm looking forward to see how he does.

I've heard a lot of positive remarks regarding most of the casting choices, though.

Kinda off topic, but who thinks Michael Bay would have been a better director for GI Joe? I mean I love the TF movies, but GI Joe sounds more like his kind of thing. Explosions + American military.
