First the Snow Serpent v2(1992)
And the
Movie Ice Viper.
If the second link doesn't work, sorry but this auction was the only link I could find. (and wow, this dealer wants 3 times what payed for mine.)
Editor wrote:Sweet. I still need to order an arctic HISS, but I've been holding off in the hopes that I can get confirmation if Canadian retailers will have them. As I don't want to pay shipping for something i can grab from a Wal*Mart.
Editor wrote:Package arrived today with my red HISS tank. Looks sweet, but I'll have to wait til I get home to see how it works with Desert Extreme Major Bludd, in the turret and python viper in the driver seat.
So quick question:
Seeing I am only collecting a Cobra army, (but not with dreadnoks)The question is who (personality) do I truly require to be in the display.
I have my:
Cobra Commander
Destro (still going to change the head once I can find a destro/shockwave 2-pack for the one i want)
Baroness
Firefly
Storm Shadow
Major Bludd
Scrap Iron
I couldn't care less about Serpentor (strange as I actually had him as a kid) and Mindbender I'll get in the Island defense pack. The crimson twins I'll get eventually.
But who am i really overlooking that deserves to be in this group?

uh... not as I'm trying to keep it a small collection for now, but because I have no desire to acknowledge Cobra-lalalalalalalalalalalalala within my force.
Falconer? why?

It was called Resolute. There were several webisodes and aired as a 2 hour special on Cartoon network.

Wasn't it 1 hour?
It was also a massive Rickroll, starting off very strong, but eventually hitting 88mph and returning to the crap cartoon of old, with people shooting and no one getting hit (no good guys, at least). Duke ended up being the same character he was in the 80s cartoon (unfortunately), Hawk was written out (I guess he was off in Washington getting screwed over by the Jugglers), Scarlett's characterization was awful, and their really was no ending. Some people were also really annoyed by the deaths and the tech girl. Plus, it wasn't 'realistic' like they had told us, with some elements seemingly lifted from Sigma 6. We were told there'd be no parachutes nor lasers. Spoiler: there were parachutes and lasers.
That being said, the animation was fantastic, the character and vehicle redesigns were great, and the Arashikage segments were very well done. The voices and voice acting wasn't too bad, either. The new Cobra Commander is a very badass leader who won't take anyone's crap.
On the whole, I found Resolute to be rather underwhelming. It promised much, and starts out very strong, but ultimately leaves you wanting more, and not in the good way. There is much potential to the Resolute universe, and I eagerly await another chance to visit it, but next time, I hope they give more realism, better accuracy to the characters, and a better story. An ending would be nice, too.

I don't like how stale GI JOE is on shelves right now. It is quite boring a bare. The newest thing I have seen is a Destro Mighty MUGG which is cool, but I already have one.
Even though I do not like most of the movie stuff, I want to see it on the shelves so I can decide if I want it or not. And I want the 25th repaints they are putting in the movie line.
I know it comes out in early July, but man, I am saddened everytime I go to a GI JOE section of a store.

Hasbro Canada has been under the assumption for the past few years that there are no fans up here. No exclusives, missing waves, and we're missing over half of the regular vehicle releases.

Yes we get the standard joe pack and the Cobra packs But we haven't seen any of the special exclusive army builder type 5 packs the have been exclusives in the states. The 5-packs in question are like this, this, or this.
Which is why I had to order my Night Watch 5 pack off of eBay.
Sorry I could have been more specific.

Whoops! My mistake, I missed the context of your message. I thought you meant the recent 5-packs and not the builder sets...
But no, we didn't see those, we didn't see the SRO 3-Packs, we didn't see Comic Packs except for Wave 1, we didn't see many DVD sets [I've only seen the Weather Dominator set at retail, as the other set I saw had been returned with swapped figures], we didn't see vehicles other than the shelfwarming HISS and Armadillo/Serpentor sets, and we sure's hell don't see single-carded figs. The only Joe stuff I see 'round here are the new 5-packs and the Combat Heroes.
Basically, I buy all my Joe stuff from comic shops, specialty stores, conventions, and friends in the states.
