He probably feels the same way I did when I got my Guild Brian May guitar. To tell the truth if I had the space I would get a BMF first.

If you are referring to the BIG ASS Millennium Falcon...("What the hell is an aluminum falcon?" ), I have that in the basement. Otherwise, I need an explanation on BMF.

My wife is a true trooper. I actually made room on the floor of my toy room, so she won't ever see it really. BBTS is selling it to me, and said it was MIBC (yes in box too), but it does have some yellowing, and like I said the electronics don't work. Should be here within the week. Can't wait to put 25th joes all over it, and have cobra raiding parties trying to overtake it! I have a tomahawk just waiting to be saddled on the deck, and it happens to have the Special Mission Brazil unit in it (Wet Suit, Claymore, Dial Tone, Mainframe, and Leatherneck) with their prize...the ark of the covenant.

Plus, I could re-inact the last scene of the movie, and put a movie Prime (leader would be too big) on the deck.

I hope it fits where I want it to fit.

Yeah I meant the Falcon. I heard that nail polish remover can take care of yellowing. When you get it tell us what's wrong with the electronics, I think a group of men 20-30 years old can figure it out. Come on team, we got a mission!

The sheer awesomeness of the Flagg is amazing. As a kid I never knew anyone who had one, so the closest I came to one was in package. Where I and a couple friends were still amazed by it.

Congrats on adding this grail to your collection, hopefully the electronics just need some tweaking (i'm hoping it's just a loose wire or disconnected battery line.)

Needless to say we'll need pics once it's set up.

Today I picked up some Combat Heroes on sale. They're better than Robot Heroes in that the plastic quality feels better and not as rubbery. With the Robots, I would often have legs/feet out of shape and the figures couldn't stand up. But not with the Combats! They even has waist articulation, which helps to balance them.

Is the $280 for the GI Joe con Crimson Set worth it? I really like the figures but am not a real Joe collector, just getting ones that really grab my eye. Is it just the four figs you get?

I believe you get Baroness, the twins, and then multiple Vipers. It will be like this set.

Congrats tigertrack what an amazing find and I happy you have the room for it. Now on to the news that I'm sure everyone has been waiting for. Today at target the gi. joe rise of cobra figures are on sale picked cobra viper commando looked at the other and boy do they suck ass in a major way. The only other two figures that might get down the line or shipwreck and deep six. I was all excited to get the new night raven untill I looked at the box and noticed the big ass fold up trigger on the bottom of the plane and that killed it for me right there. I love the saying on box cock lock and fire the weapons using the advanced trigger mechanism.

You get the Crimson Guard Commanders (twins), the Baroness (movie sculpt), and 12 Vipers...

I do like the set but not at that price. If anybody does get it but doesn't want all the vipers, let me know as I'd be interested in one or two of them.

On the offhand chance people could be interested, I finally got my camera working better on small objects so a couple head/item swaps in my current Cobra force.

So no one is the slightest bit surprised that g.i. joe rise of cobra figures and vehicles are out at stores and no one has any comments on what they look like. I figured this forum would be all over it.

Ditto here. Although now I know the night raven comes with a trigger my interest has been peaked.

It looks like posting the pic above, with the statement of waiting for Destro was the golden ticket.

Pilot Destro arrived in today's mail. So I'll be making the part swaps and hopeful pics tonite if time permits.

We'll be lighting this forum up more next week. The toys are 'officially' released on Monday, July 6th. TRU is supposed to have a huge movie display, like they did for Star Trek and Transformers.

At that point, shortround, I am sure that you will see more buzz in this forum. Can I say that I think the joe movie will be less disappointing than the TF movie? The toy line should be less disappointing too, as they are at least repainting some of their 25th figures and vehicles for release, and that will keep me looking and buying.

USS FLAGG is assembled, but I need to do some arranging in the toy room for it to look and fit right. I am thinking that it will be a place where I stand almost all of my 25th figures for display.

There is no way i can top TT24, but i did say i would post up an image of the modified Destro. I would have been better in natural light but oh well.

I thought I would put up some scans I took of the back of g.i. joe rise of cobra boxes. Since I just add shipwreck and deep-six to my collection. Both are really nice figures and shipwreck can even hold polly.

Reminds me a lot of Sigma Six. Might go to TRU tomorrow. They're supposed to be putting Joe stuff out on the 4th.

I have to thank tigertracks for the heads up I went to toy r us when it opened today and got destro, snake eyes, storm shadow and neo viper. The other figures I wanted from the first two waves of movie figures. I have to say I like destro they did a good job of make him look different from all the others I have, plus let me just quote a little from his bio here because he has different back story on how he gets the mask than the other versions of desto: His burned face is repaired with an injection of nanomites that heals the burns but changes the skin into a silver mask. Well I can't wait to here what everyone else thinks of the figures when they arrive in the different parts of united states and beyond.
