Well today I picked up paris pursuit storm shadow nice figure great head sculpt. Still wasn't able to find paris pursuit scarlet, cobra commander and ice viper. But according to one of the manager at that lynwood toy r us here in washington state the first figure to move out the door in this wave is cobra commander followed by scarlet and then ice viper. So there out there now good luck and hope people have better luck than I have.

Suggestion for anyone in doubt... buy The Pit Commando, as many times as you can.

This figure comes with so many accessories (and again, I believe all the movie figures are good at this, they really have TONS of accessories, enough to get the vehicle drivers weapons).

But back to the Pit Commando. Super-customizable. Four different head gear, plus he can be without head gear. Two different vests or without. A huge backpack. Plenty of guns to go around. Plenty of gear to pass around to other figures to customize them... even a helmet that makes him look like the mail away Joe trooper "The Steel Brigade"..so cool.

For example, I have the Snow Job that comes with the Rockslide (a decent vehicle, and a great figure), the Pit Commando's Ranger hat (brimmed), and Firefly's goggles, plus an extra pistol (Frostbite now has Snow Job's goggles).

I am considering buying another Rockslide so I can get another Snow job to pop the head off of the Pit COmmando and put the Pit COmmando's head on him to make a new Joe snow trooper...

Love the options....

What am I currently looking for? Ice Viper, Snow Suit SE, Paratrooper, and more Pit Commandos. I have all the vehicles I want, except the PIT, which I will get at some point when I have a TRU percent or money off a $100 purchase coupon.

Croc master (Terra Viper) looks wicked awesome with one of Flash's laser rifles and the butcher knife from Agent Helix. He looks quite dangerous.

I went to a Target today that had basically eight pegs with Wave 1, and 2... no one I wanted doubles of... Why, why didn't they have my paratrooper and ice viper????

Is the Pit Commando the same as the Nitro Viper attack on the Pit edition. I think I bought the wrong figure. Anyway this is what I got today.

Target- Ice Viper, Nitro Pit Viper, Paris Persuit SE, Paris Persuit SS.

TRU- Barbecue, Destro, and, wait for it, the NIGHT RAVEN! Haven't put it together yet but expect pics. I'm gonna do a display shot with the Fang and Firefly, who I gave the Viper rifle to from the Fang/claw set. By the by, did you know the Trooper comes with the TV gun?

I saw CC and Duke but couldn't bring myself to buy them since they look like ass. So do most of the Vipers. I only bought the one above for reasons already stated. As it is I think I'm done for now. I might get the Gun ship and I might get the Snow Cat thingie but put my Artic Asault Cobra's on it. It's blue, it's Cobra.

No the PIT Commando is a joe, basically, a greenshirt, but he has grey camo, and loads of customizable accessories.

Well, I found a red helmet Firefly. Of the 5 or so Gunships I saw, 1 had the red FF, the others were all the black helmet.

Now that the 10th has passed Joe is out, but all I am finding is Wave 1, and very little wave 2, and nothing after. My TRU had no more 1 week later, than they did last week on the launch day. In fact, they had a lot less available, but no more space allocated to the figures (one end cap).

Damn. I hate how these new troopers look. Can't find the Mars set by the way. My TRU has the space divided between the movie line and whatever they have left over. 25th anniversary figs, 5-packs, some vehicles, and one Sigma 6 fire Cobra Commander.

I was over at borders on saturday stumble across a book called Confidential G.I. Joe Files. So I started flipping through it a came across an entry for movie cobra commander. I didn't commit it to memory or anything lucky they had a few passages from the book posted over on his tank. So here is the one for cobra commander and why he looks so butt ugly.

Cobra Commander: was once a Promising Army Scientist. He was rescued by Destro after the bombing of the lab he was in and is MARS top scientist. He seeks revenge on Duke. He is a specialist in Nanomites and takes control of Destro and Mars thanks to the brainwashing effects of the nanomites. He names the organization Cobra and is the refered to as Cobra Commander

This is a shot I took of ROC Firefly, Destroy, and Air Viper. It was supposed to be an action shot of destro flying Firefly in but destro couldn't fit in the Fang and firefly couldn't stand on the rudder so the yearbook shot won.

My friend came up with cool Pilot for the cobra gun ship he took the firebat pilot and used him unstead of the version of firefly that came with it. Can't wait to see picture of the cobra island sets.

Yes, they all have weapons and accessories. I am not sure that the gunship looks like the Skystorm X-Wing, if that is what you are talking about.

Did you guys see? New re-release of the CObra S.N.A.K.E. armor will be available (in red and black), along with a then and now type two pack of the original Polar Battle Bear and Snow Job, and the Rockslide and Snow job. COoollll.

I hadn't thought of using Wild Weasel I just stuck with the version of firefly that came with gunship but now I think I will put Wild Weasel in the pilots seat thanks tigertracks, Also thanks for the info on the upcoming Cobra S.N.A.K.E. armor and Polar Battle Bear and Snow Job, and the Rockslide and Snow job

The snake is going to be a very deep Charcoal (close to black)...with red detailing.

That's not gray, it's Ox blood, lol! Sorry inside joke. Anyone notice the vintage Snow Job we're getting with the set? It's amazing how Hasbro can loose the molds of their money franchise but protect GI Joe. I finally realized why I like the joe movie toys, unlike giant robots you can't screw up humans. This is going to be a cool couple of months.

Well I have good news and bad news coming out of toy r us. I have a friend that manages one of the toy r us here in washington state, and she has let me know that in order keep scalpers from doing what they did with certain toys during the first transformers movie. All tru stores in the united states and canada will be change there truck receiving dates every week in hopes confusing scalpers, and giving everyone chance to find those hard to find g.i. joe figures each wave.

Also tigertracks the S.N.A.K.E. armor looks sweet and so does polar battle bear and rockslide pack can't wait to get both if my target doesn't get picked over before I get a chance.

Well target is supposed to have a bunch of exclusive vehicles coming out soon. Walmart is supposed to have bunch of exclusive figures. Tru is supposed to have both exclusive figures and vehicles coming up. The names I can't really tell the only one I know coming out at target very soon is the rhino tank.

Of course the RHINO. The one DTC vehicle I bought thinking it would work with the 25th Joes. This is why I don't buy anything older than four years; it gets reissued eventually.

A friend of mine went down las vegas for vacation and is bringing me back: the first g.i. joe movie vehicle the ice dagger which from all the picture I have seen looks to be a really cool vehicle. As far a figures go she is brining me back scarlet the version that comes in gray camo and cover girl pretty excited for both of those figures. I found out another reissue vehicle that will be in the movie line is the snow cat, I don't which figure it will come with as a driver since they already have a frost bite that comes with the ice dagger.
