Ah yes, it's that time of year again where the rich pay, and the poor get refunded. :grin:

I filed my taxes a couple of weeks ago with a friend of the family that works for H & R Block. I thought I would have to sign a bunch of paper work first before anything, but I was pleasantly surprised when I checked my account balance tonight:

Nice return. I'm from Florida, so I don't have to worry about state taxes; but for the past few years, I've only gotten a few hundred back at tax time.

Which reminds me: I still need to file. Damn.

Mine was already spent on bills before I ever got it. And now that this month is paid I am now screw-ed for next month. Yay!

True..
The 13 year old (will make 14 in May...) is starting high school and the 2 year old will be going to school in a couple of years so that will be more $$ from tax returns and such to help pay for tuition.
