they don't seem all that spectacular, but what are they? some sort of new weapon? Can't see them for sale in the shop...

edit: i'm a moron, just checked the database and theyre there. When did they come out? I could have sworn i havent missed a day playing...

They were dropped in at some point or another either while or just before the site started having problems. I saw there were six of them in the armory when there was that glitch that was preventing us from buying weapons. They sold out very quickly once that was fixed. So you didn't really miss anything, there just weren't ever that many of them.

I dunno. Recharge is fairly decent, though, and it does have a fairly decent top end damage for a level 0 weapon. Just the low end being Light makes less reliable than the X-Ray.

I like the grenade. It may not be for higher levels
but the opportunity for a lvl 0 to achieve very heavy
damage results is nice. 0 frp/0 skl.
I use it on my Dinocon now that brawling has been downgraded.
It would be awesome if it had a strafing effect, kind of like shrapnel.

recharge seems at best equal to the xray, and while they do have different damage ranges they both have the same average damage, so you're right it's not inferior, purely becuase it costs less.

which means brawling is still better

unless you lot want to try and prove me wrong.
