I keep forgetting every time I haven't messed with him in a while that the trunk doesn't close over the arms like it's supposed to, and instead you have to unbend the elbows and attach the forearms to the top of the trunk piece so the arms close WITH the trunk instead.
Have you ever had to transform alternators Tracks? Makes RTS Tracks look like a jumpstarter.
I exaggerate, but yeah, alternators Tracks way harder than RTS. But I guess that's just how alternators were. I found Smokescreen to be pretty hard as well.

Delta Magnus wrote:Animated Ratchet. Not because of complexity, but because the back half of the ambulance just won't stay pegged together. The pegs on his feet don't fit properly and always pop apart, causing the back plate to pop off, and it's really not helped at all by the fact that the legs don't like to stay attached to the body- the hip joints are stronger than the mushroom pegs on his thigh swivels, which come disconnected ALL THE TIME.
Ugh.

Oh, don't get me started, ESPECIALLY on that "third mode" of his. Why is it so difficult to transform him into a seemingly-random pile of parts?

Ugh.
He's the only autobot from that line I am missing, for a reason!

Generations Rattrap
Mixmaster could be confusing. Mainly because he's a random monster instead of a humanoid robot. I've yet to try to transform him back into vehicle mode because he's still deep in a box from my moving.
DotM Leader Sentinel Prime is not hard at all. He just need a bit of "pannels massage" when turning into a truck.
Never owned a TW Orion and I dont plan to so I cannot say anything.
Gen Rattrap is fiddly but fun.

Right now, what are the hardest TF to transform for me are the ones with a Cybertronian altmode which is a big pile of nonsensical nothing. Meaning, it's clear what a robot is, but turning into a "vehicle" is a nightmare because I usually have no idea what the hell the thing turn into:
-- Animated voyager Megatron
-- Movie 2007 Leader Megatron
Both of those are absolute garbage and are a nightmare to transform with a very, very disapointing result.

Wow you find DOTM Leader Sentinal Easy wow you must be a Wizard at transformations

Not so much!![]()
If the toy have a distinct altmode, once you understand two principles, you can transform anything with ease. Some transformations are longer than others, but they are not hard.
1) Align the panels.
2) The peg go into the hole.
That's it! Once you master those two basic facts, even RotF Long Haul, ROtF Leader Optimus Prime, Cybertronian generations Bumblebee, and other TF mentionned become easy to transform.
Rodimus Minor wrote:I have no problem transforming Cybertron mode BB or ROTF Longhaul Leader optimus can be tricky but I get it done
shame too. it would have been a great figure if it werent for those odd shoulder thingys. and theres almost nowhere for the minicon to go!Prime Riblet wrote:I have a lot of trouble with Universe Hot Shot. To be perfectly honest, it frustrated me enough that I might have thrown it. I might have stepped on it, but I can't remember. I just wasn't in the mood to deal with the little sucker, I guess. There was something about that figure that I immediately hated.

The fact that is was Hotshot?
