To be fair, I feel the Hasbro MP11's are more than reasonable. And the cars so far are priced pretty much the same as Takara's being sold by importers like BBTS. I feel the prices of exclusives have the right to be inflated, but I can't support the recent prices of these things. Even if I'm one of the few that actually like them.

About the similarity to the BBTS prices, I raised that argument several times in the MP bumblebee thread and I think the main backlash is that since these are no longer imports, why would they be priced as such .

Good point. Very good point. Perhaps when I argue such things I'm just trying to justify things for the sake of my own wallet

I'm curious to see how they use this design in the future. We'll probably have a Burning Primal and Universe Primal repaint in the near future, but who knows what will happen in the long term? Might we see a Transmetal Primal, Apeface, or Apelinq remould at some point.

There is no way this thing is worth $140, I will never buy this mold again, nor will I endorse it; it's punching gimmick ruined it, it sucks, and that's all there really is too it

You're better of just getting the original. I owned it at some point and I had buyer remorse. It's not that great of a mold. So, I sold it.

Whoa, that figure is way bigger than I was expecting. Well that goes a little way to explaining the price I guess.

I think I may celebrate the Anniversary by trying to hunt down a Transmetal Optimus Primal. I never had one as a kid and it's kind of the Beast Wars Holy Grail for me.

Man I was just shocked at the size. When I saw the pics of it, just by itself with no sense of it's true scale it just looked like a crappy little Beast Machines Primal (Also those colors are not doing him any favors). I had no idea it was huge and had electronics.

aye he's an okayish size! coz i used to have a Transmetal Optimus Primal! nice blue chrome chest on him though
