To be fair, I feel the Hasbro MP11's are more than reasonable. And the cars so far are priced pretty much the same as Takara's being sold by importers like BBTS. I feel the prices of exclusives have the right to be inflated, but I can't support the recent prices of these things. Even if I'm one of the few that actually like them.Kup98ss wrote:These overpriced exclusives are ridiculous. They will sit for a year then be clearanced off. Once again Great marketing decision Hasbro/TRY.
MP PROWL. Way overpriced $70
MP BLUESTREAK overpriced $60
MP STARSCREAM don't get enough
CYBERTRON STARSCREAM (reissue)$100 WTF?
ORANGE MP SOUNDWAVE $200 and ugly
And so on. Sad.

william-james88 wrote:About the similarity to the BBTS prices, I raised that argument several times in the MP bumblebee thread and I think the main backlash is that since these are no longer imports, why would they be priced as suchshajaki wrote:To be fair, I feel the Hasbro MP11's are more than reasonable. This toy is this design's future use. This is a mold that was originally released 14 years ago.Stuartmaximus wrote:I'm curious to see how they use this design in the future.

200$ in Canada. Which translates to 140$ in the states.
I have no clue why this would be more expensive than the already very expensive YOTH Starscream since they are the same class size.

I think I may celebrate the Anniversary by trying to hunt down a Transmetal Optimus Primal. I never had one as a kid and it's kind of the Beast Wars Holy Grail for me.
-Kanrabat- wrote:I have one and I can sell it cheap for you if you want.
Just PM me!

Oh, I am hunting brand new, unopened prey. After so much time opening that box will be a akin to a religious experience

Hardly, considering the original was ~$30 US

I can buy Transmetal Primal and get him shipped to my door cheaper than I could get Year of the Monkey Primal without shipping, it's not that bad (phew!).

Man I was just shocked at the size. When I saw the pics of it, just by itself with no sense of it's true scale it just looked like a crappy little Beast Machines Primal (Also those colors are not doing him any favors). I had no idea it was huge and had electronics.
