Just wanted to say I think you Americans are getting a raw deal with these Shaterred Glass figures. So far we only had MSRP for the combo with the comic, but it was hard to see how much was the comic how much was attributed to extra accessories and a nice box ect.
The current MSRP for a voyager in the US is 31.99 while the shaterred glass voyagers are 38.99. It turns out that at Canadian retail, where they sell without the comic, they are $45 CAD, which is the standard MSRP now. As with Generations Selects releases, there is no premium to the base product. So the comic takes up that entire markup. That makes it a $7 comic. Granted, exclusive comics can sell for that much or more, but it's not optional here. And I think that sucks.

Yeah it's always unfortunate when something is needlessly forced on us without giving us a choice to say no unless we want to be subject to negative financial consequences. Personally, I want the comics so I don't mind the price increase, but I get that it's an inconvenience for others. At least we have the option to get the figures with or without comics through exclusivity. I guess it saves Hasbro and maybe IDW money on printing copies that no one wants.

We know the reason, it was an error based on the previous price for Kingdom voyagers. It was then corrected to 38.99

They need to rethink the color scheme on a few of the SG guys, Jazz being one of them. That is, if they plan to keep using the latest molds in a 1:1 sort of way.

Galvy is my own fav, but he has the same problem. I dunno what the answer is there.

If I can have these toys for less than the normal retail price of a standard release by sacrificing a comic I'll never bother to read instead of paying DOUBLE the price thanks to the markup and Pulse shipping, that comic can be recycled as toilet paper for all I care.

I'm really enjoying my SG voyagers. Starscream is awesome and I love the fact that I can recreate the overall look of the Botcon original. Too bad my original SG Screamers that I paid almost 300$CAN off eBay is now badly yellowed. Still, this show once again the superiority of the Siege seeker mold. Especially when everything peg in perfectly and even the chest-plate don't pop off!

No matter how much I love Starscream, I think Megatron is the best as a SG character. With just a few extra accessories he becomes something completely different. I really love that overkill look for the bot mode.

Even though the original tank mode is ironically not shown in the instructions, I find it very appealing in those collors.

The extra bits added to it don't really works unfortunately.

The spaceship is simply awesome! very Star-Trecky. Adding the canon extender makes it better IMO.

I'll keep my eyes open for the deluxes and maybe "Nemesis Jetfire" too at my local GameStop.

I might have bought Starscream if it weren't the Cybertron seeker mold, I just don't much care for that look as an alt mode. I love the colors though and they pop very well, I just might get it to keep only in bot mode!

He could have bought it directly after the convention as many people who couldn't attend often did or years after where he wouldn't necessarily been aware of the chain of ownership. Perhaps I could have asked "directly after" instead of "directly from", but either way, it wasn't your question to step into.

I was just curious if there were factors that played into it or if the plastic was prone to it. Props for acknowledging it was something about how the toy was displayed or stored.

I was just curious if there were factors that played into it or if the plastic was prone to it. Props for acknowledging it was something about how the toy was displayed or stored.

The strangest thing is that I do have many toys that yellowed, while others did not. My Botcon SG Galvatron badly yellowed as well, my T30 Arcee, the 3P Delicate Warrior.... And I guess that's it. Many other toys who were in the same display never yellowed.

Maybe it depend on the plastics used? :-?

Pulse just sent me my shipping email for Starscream! Also got an email from UPS with tracking info. Strangely never got either email for Jetfire, only knew he was coming because I got charged for him and matched the price up with my Pulse pre-order.

My Artfire showed up without any notice from Pulse, well except for the notice he was delivered a couple hours after I had him. I did get notifications for Blaster and SG Jetfire. Hmmm, maybe I should check my porch and he'll just be there like Artfire.
