That was one of your miraculous Winners find. Over here, I'm lucky if I find a Rescue Bot.
Regardless, I can still buy that set for 60$can plus taxes at my local geek store. Maybe I should.
Emerje wrote:Everyone slept on that SG Prime and Ratchet set because it seemed like a one-off that wouldn't fit in most people's collections. Little did we know it was a teaser to many figures to come.
Something I've found interesting is that Hasbro seems to have made a ton of these figures because they had a lot left for their sale in both the US and UK store and yet it was successful enough to get a second wave. Just proves something I've been saying for years, just because we find a bunch of figures on clearance that doesn't mean it wasn't a success, they can make a big profit without selling everything, at some point even on clearance they're making something.

What's more, in the stream, Mark Maher kept talking about the figure as if it were an update of G1 Action Master Slicer more than just another SG figure, so I guess like both Botcon 2010 Slice and the new SG Ultra Magnus, this toy represents more than one character.o.supreme wrote:Ouch... usually I have no interest in SG, but that Fadttrack repaint is awesome. Curse you multipacks !
