Don't worry, I've got it.

And once again you and seibertron.com posts fammade digibashes thinking and announcing they’re real and refuses to believe their fake and get salty when proven wrong.

You’re the one who defended it right? As you phrased it best, “ Why would somebody photoshopping it not just turn all of the gray parts black since that's how the original figure did it? Strange to do such a tedious job and then only do the thighs black. “

Guess what? They did

But sure, instead of admitting fault just go at me for not letting it go and I pointed out the errors.

My last post on the topic literally started with "I stopped thinking it was real several posts ago". Maybe you should actually read the posts on the forum rather than just coming here to be a complainer?

As for source. It’s not that hard. All the other sites already posted this 24 hours before you did.

Nobody said it was hard, but you clearly have no intention of actually being helpful. I've explained this before, and maybe you wont read it this time either since you've demonstrated you don't pay attention: We're volunteers, we have full time jobs outside of doing this for free. Most of us don't have time to visit other sites and we depend on tips to keep up on news, there's links at the top of every page, in most of our news posts and in most of our signatures to make it really easy. Now, nobody should feel obligated to send us news tips, but posting just to complain about our reporting when you could be putting that energy towards helping us out and then posting again to say how slow our reporting is when you could have had a hand in doing something about that... are you serious?

Also I posted it Saturday, the same day IDT posted it on Facebook, nobody posted it 24 hours before us. >:oP

It's red painted white, you can see the red bleeding through at the elbows when he's in cassette mode.

The fact the white is painted on period (only 2 plastic colors for a figure his size) has me a bit worried about how tight that ball joint is now.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

So, a question for folks with both the DK-2 Guard and Deeseus Army Drone:

Image
Image

Assuming joint compatibility and clearance aren't an issue, how does DK-2's body look with the Drone's head?

Considering that DK-2 is pretty spot-on with IDW Shattered Glass Ironhide, except for the face, I was curious if you could come REALLY close using these 2 Ironhide recolors. Except for the eye and insignia colors, of course.

The Deseus head pop off instantly, but the DK-Guard one is impossible to remove without a tool. I'm not risking scrapping an expensive toy just for simple curiosity.

But as I eyeball it, switching heads should't be an issue for both toy's transformations if you want to risk it.

Wasn't aware of the issue with removing DK-2's noggin.

How complicated does it look to disassemble?

Both are just snapped on with a ball joint.
But DK's is absurdly tight to remove. The head turn fine, but it will not pop off without breaking something.

Thanks for all the insight on this!

One last question, how close is the color match between the Black on Drone vs Guard?

Drone is grayer, but I love to have both side-by-side. For me the Drone is the Cybertronian version of DK Guard. 8-)
I gave Drone a :BOT: to replace his green unicron sign.

I just got home to look at my Guard, and I see what you mean. That head is not coming off without breaking something.

I'll just settle to leave him as he is and call him SG Ironhide. Much like you, I just changed an insignia, with a :SG-BOTS: .

Blaster looks good. I passed on the retail one, this one will look good with the other shattered bots.

As for Ironhide, I plan to use the Deeseeus army drone as my SG Ironhide, and it works with all the battle damage for an evil hardbuilt warrior. Guard will remain with my Diaclone crew. I am getting 2 Magnus' just so I can have the SG one and the Diaclone commander.

It's been on my mind, but if those rumors of the 5th SG figure of this wave hold true and we're getting a Shattered Glass Metroplex (With the seeming intent that it can be repurposed as a modern G1 Metrotitan) based on the Legacy Metroplex mold, I hope that, besides the obvious new head that we've seen in the IDW comics, they replace the Auto-Axe weapon with something else and do some Alt-Mode finagling like they did with Megatron so it's a City Mode and not a Giant Excavator.

I feel like any SG Metroplex in Metrotitan colors that isn't redecoed from the Thrilling 30 figure would be a massive trolling move by Hasbro.

Agreed. We've been asking for a Metrotitan from T30 Metroplex since it was first revealed some 10 years ago, it would be quite the swerve to make it out of Legacy Metroplex. Especially weird when what fans are actually asking for is Deluxe Prowl.

If it happens it will have to be amazing to convince people to drop $200 on it.

Though, on the other hand, I actually don't even want Hasbro to bring the Thrilling 30 Metroplex mold back at all, as it's one of the worst Titan class molds (if not the worst Titan) of them all. In all honesty, if we ever were to get a Metrotitan redeco of a Metroplex toy, I'd want it to be from a new G1 Metroplex toy that's much better than the old Thrilling 30 one. Shorter, stronger, sturdier, and not so skinny. G1 Metroplex was bulky and wide, not lean and limber. Even the FOC video game knew how to make Aligned Metroplex chunky and thick like his G1 counterpart. The Thrilling 30 Titan ignored Metroplex's proper proportions just for to the sheer sake of making him as tall as possible, a task that was quickly made in vain by TR Titan class Fort Max.

True, but that was a good five years later. TR Fort Max came only three short years after Metroplex.

I wonder if they DO design SG Metroplex using the Legacy mold, could they possibly treat the "Work Mode" as the default Robot mode?

After all, THIS (Sans the head and weaponry):

Weapon: Armor Axe
Thanks to In Demand Toys on Facebook, we have news that the recently revealed Leader Class Transformers Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus has some new in-package images and some new stock images. These images show us the new leader class member of the Shattered Glass line in his box, which includes some absolutely marvelous artwork of his skeletal face. The back of the box does showcase the alternate Delta Magnus head for those who are getting one for their Diaclone shelves, but the artwork solely features the skull face.

The stock images showcase the figure in robot mode and alternate mode, including another nice look at the head as well as the accessories, which include the Kingdom Ultra Magnus weapons and the Legacy Laser Prime weapons and matrix.

This figure is currently available for preorder and will see release this fall.

The art on the box makes me wish Ol' Skullface had blue Light-piping, or at least blue paint, in the mouth!
