Like Shockwave, Rodimus, Thundercracker (maybe with Skywarp as a dual pack?), Sideswipe, Prowl, Ironhide, etc.

According to the toy galleries on this very site, the OG figure definitely seems to be a size that you might have an easier time storing/displaying!

SG Magnus came with more stuff than a regular Magnus (Legacy Optimus Prime's accessories, a second head and a comic) where Grimlock actually comes with less than SS Grimlock (no Wheelie).

I have no interest in the comic books so I really don't want to pay the inflated price. I think it's really stupid & irritating how SG Soundwave, a voyager, is the same price as SG Magnus a leader class. Hasbro are the RIP-OFF KINGS!

He also comes with two Micromasters which I'm sure add $10-$15 to the cost, but he does still seem priced a bit high.

I have this idea as well. The regular Dinobots are hard as it is to complete, no way I could ever double-dip with exclusives that I'll have to import.

I doubt they'll do the other Dinobots, but if they do keep in mind that from here on out these are not Pulse exclusives, they'll be sold wherever Selects are sold.
The comics averaged an $8 markup which is about what comic collectors usually pay for exclusive covers, there's nothing unusual about that price, people just aren't used to it. They probably should have made it optional, though, since some of us got duplicates when we bought two or three of the same figure.

Regardless, forcing people to buy an overpriced comic that they'll never read suck. And if you want the whole story, you must buy the entire line.
That's a great nope for me.
That why I was pretty happy to find SG Screamers and Megs at my local GameStop for normal retail. I also avoid buying anything from Pulse appart the HASLAB because of their stupid 30$US shipping policies, PLUS charging full taxes.
I bought my SG Magnus from AliExpress. 115$CAN, but no comic, no taxes, no customs. I saved 15$CAN compared to Pulse. I may get Soundwave this way too.

Because reading just a random chapter of a story without having read the beginning nor ever be able to reach the end is completely pointless.

Ohhh...you don't get every figure. I see.
The comics were also available separately at mass comic retail. Anyone who wanted to read them all without buying the toys could.-Kanrabat- wrote:sol magnus wrote:Why not just read the comic? LOL

Yeah, thanks. I have dual copies of the comics, exclusive and retail.
That's not even the point we were discussing - he was saying he wasn't going to read the ones he got, but that makes sense if he isn't getting all the comics because he's in Canada and not getting the figures from Pulse, which he made clear. The availability of the comics is irrelevant if he's not otherwise reading comic books.
The five chapters of the first series, at least.

Shattered Glass II came out too late for IDW to reprint it all in trade format before losing the license.
