Mission Log

Hi. Im new here, "hi, how are ya!", and have played a few missions last night. Looks fun so im gonna stck around. I have read what i think is everything about the game but i dont know what attack Otonami used at the begining. Cheers.

Casper armed Otonami with a Kremzeek. It can attack, strafe, paralyze and repair. It basically gives you all 4 tactics under different names.
Of course, that's at the expense of some very bad self-damage. Kremzeek can turn on it's owner, and it can also attack your own team mates so it comes with a large CAUTION sign on the box.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
I have managed to get my first upgrades on my troops and was looking for advice on what does what when i looked at the HMW2 thread. Sorry if i sound thick, but does "reset" mean everything is returned to zero? Like everything i am doing now will be lost and back to where i was yesterday? Not a big deal just wanted to know thats what reset means. HMW2 looks to be a much more complex game and i am looking forward to it.
Thing is i was going to ask why there arnt any weapons at L0 and if anyone wanted to loan me some cash so i can buy some L1 weapons and see what they are like. Feel free if your the generous type :grin:

thing is norterbies, the weapons are really unbalanced, and liable to stay that way up to v2(we'll lose everything but the names of our troops) so it's almost always better to upgrade your guys strength and go kung-fu than get a weapon.

Unless you can get your hands on one of the few relatively good weapons in the game, like the Dol or Battle Blades, but both of those are sold out. Energon Crossbows aren't too bad, though, and there are still some in stock. But Tam's right, you'd be better off brawling it out than trying to scrounge up a weapon.

yup, but be warned they are VERY VERY fragile, if your bot get stasis lolcked while he has a minicon, that minicon is permanantly destroyed! and at present there is no way of regaining minicon stocks for your faction, so running out of them to buy is a possibility.

Also they're quight expensive, especially when you're just starting out. But come say hi in the Decepticon forum and we may have a few ways for you to earn some energon.

you'd be surprised, with most of the decent weapons sold out, brawling beats them hands down. hell 3str and you'll do more with your fists than your X-rays....
