We're in the age of 5-6 repaints per mold.

It could very well happen.

Yeah, but the colors are really bland and boring compared to what has been released on the mold so far. I just cannot see that being a good route for them to go. Maybe as Sinnertwin--yeah that name's not going to fly in the market either, unless it is special edition, or exclusive to a con or something.

Why on earth did they give him flames? Was he suposed to be Nemesis Rodimus, then they decided that would be daft?

I just received my Wildrider on Fri, and was debating on opening him or not. I think you've convinced me to free the beast.
I told the fire to go **** itself, and it did.

Rijie Seeking:

Botcon 2009--Souvenir Sweeps
Botcon 2010--Souvenirs Rapido, Scorch/Shattered Glass Ravage

MISP preferred, but will consider opened NM/Complete, especially for older figures. Lots of TFs for trade! Please PM any inquiries, serious interest only!

Takra released they're own Thundercracker so I would'nt put it past Habro to release Wildrider in the US, especially since we have Dragstrip coming in a few months.

I know some people are chrome junkies, but I think the figure would look a lot better without chrome. Don't get me wrong, I like the paint job and thought this figure was very well executed in it's approach. Chrome just is'nt a big selling point for me.

Personally I love the chrome on the Henkei figures. That's why I bit the bullet and got one just now instead of waiting for a possible US release later.

Keep hearing about others getting theirs in the mail, if mine doesn't show up by Fri I'm going to start to get worried.

For the most part, I agree with you. I think the chrome is unnecessary, though I am relieved that on this particular figure it fits fairly well. I could, however, envision Dead End having a good amount of chrome on his body; after all, if he's always looking to get killed in his shiniest, what's more shiny than chrome?
