If you are constantly getting that for specific pages, but not others on the site, clear your browser's cashe.

If it's happening everywhere on the site, then I guess you on't be reading this anyway...

Clearing the cache on Chrome has definitely helped with the 503's, thank you, but the site is still exceptionally slow I'm afraid.

I'm currently using IE and I've already cleared the cache and when I try to go to the Index page, I'm getting 503 every time. I've also notice some of the smaller alt pictures (the ones you see in the Registry) are broken, too.

Yes, DS. some of them only show up as little white squares. still seeing that.

All mission logs have been deleted, as well.

A log wipe is a pretty standard way of speeding things up, they went back a good 6 or 7 years so there must have been thousands of them.

Sites been stable for me since so it looks like it may have worked.

Just wish it hadn't wiped out today's logs - I went to check how my team had done in their latest missions and there were no logs available, throws off my math, y'know?

If deleting mission logs helped, perhaps deleting 10 year old dead threads would help too. The SPL threads are still there. So are Maximal/Predacon wars from back before the last Great Reset.

If people are against wiping them for some reason, like I could see the RPG forum being, perhaps archiving locking and archiving them?

What's the problem with them exactly? They're sitting there doing nothing, they're not impacting on the site in any way.

I guess the concern was just in case they were contributing to the sites issues, as its still kinda slow and 503's still crop up (I've had a few today.)

nah, they're threads. The problem was a lot of function calls behind the scenes (something that would have nothing to do with inactive threads) and a bunch of log files growing tremendously large (not just the HMW ones, error ones etc)

The only 503 I am running into now is on the view team page. I cleared out the cashe on my computer and HMW does run a little faster. The page isn't really important but still nice to see what my team stats are at.
