So I formatted one of my bots today, giving her an alt mode for the start of the star wars hunt and it's now not showing up anywhere. It just shows a broken picture icon. I choose the alt mode listed 413 assault shuttle.

No worries, it's just one of HMW's quirks.

Some of the alt images don't always work when recoloured, this is a good example.

I went through all of ZeroWolf's character pages and the alt modes showed up for all of them. Wasn't sure which mission or arena logs to follow-up with. Does anyone have any character pages or mission logs or arena logs where characters aren't displaying correctly?

If I'm understanding Zero correctly, this is a prime example:

Longrack used repair 6 times, at:

5:56
7:11
8:47
8:52
9:09
9:38

However, the alt image doesn't display in the log when he uses Repair like it does for the other characters.

Others, the little icons are broken while the big icons show up, and vice versa. I'll try to get a few examples of those for you, if you'd like.

So, it seems the colour selected alts are all broken right now, can I suggest, to make this alt hunt in anyway playable, that we all agree to revert to base colours until it's fixed?

And now all the custom colored alts are broken...
So I suppose we're all on equal standings now.

Although the Assault Shuttle that Zero was talking about is still broke even without the custom color. (just the small Icon, the Large Icon works)

Sorry Seib! I was busy so I didn't see the thread notification :-)

the link above shows the alt broken on my end. I went through some of the mission logs and Haze Abyss alt mode was there but all the other players lost theirs

I... suppose. But it will have to be later tonight for me; I'm playing HMW between doing something else right now and I'll need the time later to note down the 'proper' colors as I default them out so I can restore them after the problem is fixed...

You must have an even worse memory than mine.
Then again I'm not super specific on mine, just kinda gettem in the general area as last time.

One of mine is broken in the default colours as I've not really had much need to change them yet...though now it's broken on team view and on the registry. Fine in mission logs

Well, for most of them I can guess, but some like Longarm (Sheriff's Department) and Bodge-Job (Highway Incident Response Vehicle) are based on the colors of specific organizations, so I like to have those as close and consistant as possible, y'know?

Not that it seems to matter much since it looks like it's been fixed...

I think I just fixed the alt mode problem that was originally reported. The problem that you guys are talking about was caused by me fixing the other problem. It should all be good now. If not, please provide URL examples so that I can replicate. Thanks!

Uh, yikes and yoinks, guys...

My team's alts are displaying properly now - missions, registry, character and team pages, etc. - but it looks like the alt modes page itself has now gone screwy.

I went to it - https://www.seibertron.com/heavymetalwar/altmodes.php - and every alt there (at least on the Autobot side) is now white regardless of previous color and some of them like the 806 Futuristic Fighter are displaying with the crossed-out G1 Prime image...

Same on Con side with the white-washed alt list. Non-issue though, the alts display as they normally would when selected. I reset one of mine and it displayed normal both as default colour and custom colour.

Hazes alt shows up now perfectly, though I worry about all the mess that followed in trying to get her fixed :lol:

Which character has an alt mode broken in your team view above? They all look good on my end.

Can you provide the links to your mission logs so that I can look into those problems as well. Please let me know some specifics about which characters are missing alt modes in the mission logs you provide. Thanks.

No need to apologize. It had been a few days since I had worked on these problems, and it was confusing me about having different topics regarding the same issues. I couldn't remember what had and had not been resolved yet.
