Sorry, I was away bemoaning my imprisonment with a collection of appropriate music; 'Beach Boy Blues', 'Jailhouse Rock', 'Midnight Special', 'Folsom Prison Blues', 'The Wall'... you know how it is.

That and deciding whether "The Great Escape" or "Hogan's Heroes" would be more representative of us five POWs.
Current Status: Anticipating a possible absence from HMW for a few days after Thanksgiving due to family reasons.

You've never seen The Great Escape? It's one of the definitive World War II movies of all times, THE definitive POW movie, and even better - it's based on a true story... It's like "Zulu" or "Spaceballs", it's one of those movies that it's just hard to believe someone hasn't seen...

Along with the Sound of Music and (obvs) the Queens Speech. Legally, you cant start dinner until she's finished talking as she owns all the parsnips.

The year they dropped all three from the BBC sparked the infamous Christmas riot in Guildford of 1983. It was horrific, at least 3 bins were kicked over. Pretty sure the area still hasn't recovered.
