Those should totally be a reward so people can 'purchase' **** like altmodes and the like once they've saved up enough of them.
When I'm sober again, I'll see if that idea still makes sense.

Sad part; I don't see any way it could be implemented without one of... you know, those 'programmer' guys... (which I strongly suspect are simply a myth perpetuated by old HMWers to play with the minds of newcomers...)
It's actually a phenomenal idea, in my opinion![]()
I imagine it'd be implemented the same way Burn gave away the sharkticon alt modesSo I doubt a mythical numberlord would be needed for that part. The list of rewards wouldn't be very large without a programmer, but it'd be doable.

Gotta be in it to win it.
It's pretty much the nature of games these days. You want to win something? You gotta participate.
ZeroWolf wrote:A weeks worth of sending 6 level 1s and I only ever took down one botah well, what can you do? Got a full team of lvl 1s to whip into shape now before the next event.

@Wingz yeah but also the players who don't want to do these things but expect there to be a level playing field for those who don't participate versus those that do. Now the good news is I suspect the percentage of players who would act like this to be miniscule. I mean I think a large amount probably didn't know the tournaments were on! Isn't there a way to send messages out so it appears on the page were your recent mission results are? There is a heading there for different messages.

I presume bribery, blackmail, kidnapping and such are out of consideration as usual?

Hah, Bots and their rules...
sumowrestler wrote:When I first came back a couple weeks ago, I thought about mass PM to any former of my Bots friends from way back when would they been AWC or Maximal. The problem is there are probably several who don't pay attention to PM anymore. Then there are those who do play because I see them in the missions but don't ever post for whatever the reason. General Incursion is one of those Bot players who I see often in my missions but as far as I know has yet to post in these forums. With summer time coming, it is totally possible we see an uptick in activity due to those students will be out of school.
